Steve Stirewalt is truly a Stand Up Guy!! He and his dear wife Karen, are two of the best friends, that I have Ever Had!! When I moved to Rockwell, in 1992, Dirt & Street Cycle (and the Stirewalt family), was one of the first things I found, upon exploring my "Extended Neighborhood". The Stirewalt's place quickly became a home away from home for me. Steve & Karen haven't just been "Dirt & Street Cycle". They're Real Folks!! The kind of people you just take great pleasure in being around, and spending time with!! Steve is an Excellent Motorcycle Mechanic!! He's completely self taught. He's very honest, and once he sinks his teeth into something, Will Not Stop, until he sees it through. Over the last 27 years, he has helped me through more issues, than I could Possibly Count!! I have spent countless hours at Dirt & Street Cycle, helping Steve work on my own bikes, as well as others. I've learned more useful information, tips, & tricks from him, than I ever could have hoped to, from any 10 factory dealerships. You won't get the typical "Sales Pitch" from Steve Stirewalt". He will give it to you straight. He may not give you what you hope to hear, but he Will Tell You The Truth!! No B.S. with him. If you get out this way (Old Beatty Ford Road, in Rowan County, N.C.), please stop in, meet Steve, and have a look around. Steve is officially retired now, but still loves to tinker in the shop, and on the property. You will be amazed, at the endless variety of things you will see, at Dirt & Street Cycle. Bikes, Trikes, Parts, Accessories, Helmets, Clothing, ........ Pretty much All Things Motorcycle!! 45 years of accumulated motorcycle related Everything!! Domestic (Harley Davidson), Import, Electric (Yes, even electric motorcycles), Custom Hand Built Stuff, Vintage, you name it. Steve will probably hang this up, before too long. He's been at it, for pretty much all of his life. So don't wait too long!! Go see him, and check out this little piece of Rowan County History!! Don't forget to ask about the pictures and memoribilia, that adorn the walls, and abound in his memory banks!!

Nice guy, small shop. Took him a while to get my bike fixed due to him being injured, but gave me a break on the bill. Reccomended if you arent in a huge rush.Service: Carburetor cleaningService: Carburetor cleaning

First time I ever seen a woman stand up on the back of moving motorcycle, eat a hotdog weenie hanging from a rope, was here in the good ol days. Always felt like family here.

Guy was grumpy but super nice he gave me a free sparkplug and a free airfilters and a parts book no charge ..don't go in his shop with mud on your boots !!but was a great old school experience.owner will tell u how it is so don't go in there with your feelings on your sleeves !
