This place has signs on the fuel building and Hardee s saying temporarily closed. No garbage cans. No one here just a abandoned truck stop

Sunoco gas station has a friendly and helpful staff, making my visit pleasant. The fuel pumps are efficient and the gas prices are reasonable. However, the convenience store lacks a diverse selection of snacks, which limits the options for a quick bite. The restrooms require attention as they were not well-maintained and lacked cleanliness. Improvements in this area would greatly enhance the overall experience. Nevertheless, if you're in need of fuel and appreciate friendly service, Sunoco is a reliable choice.

I get this place is kinda all by itself, but it was fairly busy for 11pm on a Sunday night. No excuse for the condition it s in, given how busy it appears to be even late at night. Bathrooms stink, all urinals are full of pee. Auto flushers replaced with manual that no one uses since auto flush eye is still in place. No soap in any of the 4 soap dispensers. At least 3 employees visible behind counter, none servicing the bathroom. The shelves are pretty bare of basic stuff you d expect to see in a gas station. Very limited stock, relatively.It s almost worth two stars for just being open, but I m hoping this one star review will catch the owners attention and they will address their bathrooms, employees, and shelves.

I like this place. Staff are friendly. The bathrooms could use some work and some cleaning but the store is always stocked and clean and when we come through on the way back from the beach, it's probably the only store open, with a restroom, and the night staff are even nice. There's a restaurant attached. Hardee's I think. I don't eat there but it's clean. There's a truck stop there as well for the truckers. Decent and clean place

Horribly nasty truck stop. The people are nice and serve customers well. But the bathrooms are impossibly nasty, as is the parking lot. Richmond County wants to attract tourists that go by on the new bypasses but places like this are exactly why they don't. I grew up in Rockingham and am glad I left

I don t normally leave reviews for anything really, but wanted to say this. I was here a few days ago because it s a great first stop on my to my hometown in WV from my current home in SC. My mother and I would stop here every time we went north so she could smoke and the dog could do his thing.The day I stopped, there were a couple very lovely people working the counter; one was changing/counting their register. The other offered to take me at a different register but when they saw I just had a large coffee, they let me go with no charge.What they didn t know was that my mom had passed away two days earlier and I was on my way north for her funeral and stopped at that familiar place was rough. That small gesture (which was maybe just as much for their convenience as mine) meant more than they could ve possibly known. It was exactly the type of small, random act of kindness my mom was known for.I hope those two are having a great day.

Bathrooms are clean but could use some updating. This is a great stop right off the highway when heading from myrtle beach to Greensboro or even Charlotte as a halfway point.

Well, it used to be a good place to stop and get a shower. I can't get a shower tonight because no towels have been dried.... Cashier in charge of showers was rude for no reason, crying about "they've been too busy"..... Nasty bathroom up front, and she tells me the bathroom by the showers are "employee only"..... It never was "employee only" before tonight.I'll just buy my fuel somewhere else...O, and I'm the one that ALWAYS leaves a $20 tip in the shower, not because they are awesome showers, but just a token of my appreciation for someone showing up to work today

Always stop by here when I'm on my way back home to see family. Nice place with friendly enough folks. Though when I went there this time the bathrooms were a mess and all the urinals were out but I'm assuming they were having a plumbing issue.

What a sad excuse for a truck stop. Lots of make believe spaces and it is early afternoon and there isn't a towel in sight at the showers. I swear this is the 3rd time in a week of being on home time that this has happened to me. I absolutely loathe this truck stop. The bathroom is oddly set up and almost always in need of attention whether it be between lack of supplies or just plain dirty. Showers don't have a bathroom in them so if you want to do any business before shower you have to go to public bathrooms. Then the room to shower in is so dern small you can't breathe in it hardly. Staff are all so complacent in their job and you could get away with stealing anything except maybe cigs and lotto tickets here because they are always busy being chatty Cathy's at the front register. I hate this place.

I drive through here regularly and for the most part stopped going to this location primarily because the staff is rude, the bathrooms are almost always filthy, this place does get a lot of traffic because of its location but they could do a much better job of cleaning. But if the employees had a better attitude the other stuff wouldn't matter as much

From the first step into the entrance of the store it is very nasty. The bathrooms are HORRIBLE and stink badly. The whole place is filthy.

No soap in restrooms. Women's restrooms had no paper towels and several stalls out of order. Also claims to have no change when you pay.... not before. They did not give 74 cents in change. They also don't give receipts. They are making a ton of money on this racket.

It's cleaner to go to the bathroom on the side of the road. The two cashiers I dealt with are great but they had no help with all the other duties running the gas station. As a truck driver I'd avoid this place bc the parking is minimum and the bathrooms are terrible.

We love Stuckey's & stop here everytime we travel to Rockingham NC. Clean restrooms & well stocked snacks. Hardee's is also located next door.

CLOSED!! The store & Hardee's are not open!Only thing available is some shade at the pumps and the Air&Vac station... that's all folks...

The restroom are nasty no soap. The absolute bad part about this is that they have a restaurant at this truck stop. How are we suppose to believe that the workers are washing their hands, if the customer can t even wash our hands. A BIG NO ON EATING AT THIS PLACE. The worst truck stop we have ever been to. They need someone from corporate to come and deal with this place.

Rude store workers that were racist and not in a good way I asked the lady where the crackers were and she told me to look in the mirror although it was funny that is unacceptable if I would say something like that they would have riots and Ida lost my job n so. On

Good rest stop. Bathrooms are mostly clean. Gas station. Poorly stocked convience store. Hardee's is there.

Clean place clean restrooms and clean showers and it's conveniently located right off of the interstate has a truck stop shower place to sleep in the back of your truck good staff no drama around it it's got a Hardee's next to it it's pretty good area don't go to the waffle house if you're hungry across the street at night

The restrooms were nasty! No paper, the doors won t close. We wanted coffee and were told they had no cups. There were 3 employees behind the counter doing NOTHING but laughing and talking. Perhaps one should cleanThe restroom and one should order CUPS!!

Not the worst bathroom on the road but no trash cans in the woman's stalls and used sanitary pads on the toilet paper are a bit gross.

This facility is not one to desire to use the restroom at. Several urinals were covered with plastic bags and out of order and was unclean. I stop here often and traveling and this facility has been this way for years.

Lots of trsffic. A group of bikers, one playing Spanish music so loud it was deafening. I wouldn't stop here if I didn't have to.

Stopped to get fuel w/my husband on our way to Pennsylvania. Quick stop didnt have wait in line . Definitely will stop here again on another road trip.

Several toilets were out of order in the women's room. Other than that it's a great place to stop.

The place is closed right now .you can t tell until you pull in and try to get fuel.
