Was looking for a new 2024 Ford Maverick Hybrid XLT for my husband, boy are they hard to come by! Upon my searching, I saw White Ford had some Mavericks ordered to their dealership. Was a little hesitant because we lived 100 miles away and I wasn t sure how the car buying process would go in a different state. White Ford is in North Carolina and we are in Virgina. But I took the chance and called and spoke to Barry. He was VERY helpful in answering all of my questions and letting me know how we might be able to get one of the new Mavericks! Barry made the buying and waiting process simple in letting us reserve the Maverick for a deposit payment until we could see it in person. I was excited that I had found the car my husband wanted!! When the Maverick was in, we drove 2 hours to the dealership and they made the buying process SUPER easy and fast. Barry and his assistant Mary had the truck ready to go for us. They were very kind and welcoming. We drove a total of 4 hours for this car and I would do it again because they were great! If you re thinking of getting a vehicle, definitely go with White Ford! They were honest and so easy to work with. A great establishment with some great employees!!

If I could give zero stars, I would! I have never in my life had such a horrible experience. I took my vehicle to the dealership for service. I initially went in to get my check engine light checked and issue resolved. They contacted me after a full day diagnostic to inform me that I needed new spark plugs and a fuel injection treatment. The next day, they called and stated that "there are some loose wires (unknown wire name/type, never stated or confirmed) that they will repair "at no cost"". Weird cause we know they don't do anything for free. I had to call them around 4:30 for an update on my vehicle whereas the service lady stated that she was writing me a quote and there was ALOT that needed to be repaired. Long story short, I went to pick up my vehicle and my perfectly running SUV was shaking uncontrollably and would barely switch gears and pick up speed. The check engine light blinking and I barely made it home. I called the service rep Ashley immediately and asked her why my vehicle was no longer running properly, she stated that she did not know but she that she told me that I would need to get those things on the quote she gave me fixed($6000+ quote btw). She said that it could have started happening during the test drive. (A Lie) Frustrated and upset, I found a mechanic shop the very next morning who ensured me that he would get to the problem of what they had did, he found that "wires" had been played with as if someone tried to do something to fix them. He also was sure that my issue had NOTHING to do with any of those things they listed on that quote, but was with the fuel harness (which Ford obviously had been messing around with), he identified and fixed the problem, solved the check engine light, and had my vehicle driving perfectly in less than 24 hours and at a quarter of the cost that White Ford charged me to screw my vehicle up! I thought I was in the best hands by going directly to the dealership, but I was truly screwed over with no apology or accountability. They assumed I would be dumb enough and forced to come back to spend $6000 on issues that were not urgent. Leads me to believe they sabotaged my vehicle just for a repeat customer. When in reality, I was more than willing to return for all of my future service needs until then. I couldn't prove my case, so I just put it in God's hands and left it alone. I hope Ashley and the rest of the crew received whatever commission they needed from that horrible service they provided!

Customer service is more than just free coffee. I was out of town passing through with a rental vehicle. I was 3.5 away from my final destination. I had a flat tire, got it towed to their dealership because they told me they could have the tire I needed the next day. I came back the next day, because the service department told me the tire should be there around ten. Then when I arrived the female in the service department told me the tire would be there after lunch. All of this after driving another 3.5 hours to come get my car. Supposedly the tire was on the way when they checked the computer. Not one time did they call to check to ensure that the tire was on the way, until they were asked. Then they said the tire wouldn t be in until Wednesday. This is some horrible customer service. Take your car somewhere else for repairs. I didn t get the name of female that worked in the service department, but she was horrible, her customer service was horrible, and she acted like she didn t care about anything. I ve never experienced such horrible customer service at any dealership before in my life. If I could give them a zero I would. They will probably reply with their generic google review response.

Went to White Ford to purchase a Ford Maverick. The process was quick, seamless, and the staff were very friendly. Barry and Mary couldn t have been more helpful. If you re looking for an ethical and trustworthy dealership, look no further than here.

Service was good, just long wait time for oil change & rotate tires. Usually when I have been in the past to get the same thing done only took an hour to an hour and 20 minutes. This time, 2 hours & 30 minutes. Maybe short of help, I don't know.

Everything about my car buying experiance at White was a pleasure. Mary took her time to make sure all of our questions were answered, and the sale of our Ford Maverick was complete to our satification. Will definetly make the trip to purchase another vehicle in the future.

This dealership is awful. Barry Kid gave me a call because I was interested in a car they had on the lot. I sent pics of my car along with vin number. I reached out to him on Monday and now it is Friday. I even left numerous messages. Not sure what type of operation they are running but I definitely wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone. I personally don't think this guy will last in the car sales business.

I was travelling and had already lost a weekend due to a broken truck. I called the dealership Monday morning and spoke with Will. I explained what was going on and he assured me he would see what they could do with a full schedule already. In a few hours, Will called to let me know that my starter was the issue, and they had one in stock and my extended warranty would be paying for service. He kept me updated throughout the service and got me back on the road to the destination. I have dealt with other Ford dealerships in the past where if you don t have an appointment, it takes days for them to just give you an estimate. So for Will to get me in and fix my F150 in less than 8 hours, that is going above and beyond. Thanks, White Ford, LLC and Will.

Had my truck in for a service today. Had just recently finally received my trailer brake controller for my '21 F-150 that I ordered directly from Ford back in April of '22 (Yes, that was about a year and a half to finally get it). It's a plug and play setup, I figured what the heck, I'll let White Ford install it while they're doing the service. I dropped the truck off with them at 8:00 a.m. that morning. I hadn't heard anything back from them at 1:30 p.m. so I decided to call and see if the truck was ready yet. I get the spiel about how it was a very difficult and time consuming install for the trailer brake controller. It should literally take 20 minutes max to install the parts for the controller, then maybe another 40 minutes to an hour for programming the PCM. I drive over to see what is going on, the tech had COMPLETELY REMOVED THE ENTIRE FRONT AREA OF MY INTERIOR of the truck to install this thing!!!! Needless to say I was furious and very demoralized at seeing my truck's interior sitting all in pieces outside of the truck for completely unneeded reasons. Once the truck was back together White Ford tried to tell me the costs of installing it was going to be $860!!!! Well, I let them have it at that point, I got to talk to "Will" who would not provide his last name about this whole ordeal. After a few minutes of venting, I got them to drop the cost by more than half down to just over $300, which to me was still highway robbery for what this should have entailed. If you can, go somewhere else folks, if that's what a Ford MASTER TECH is gonna do to your vehicle, take it elsewhere.

So beware when buying a vehicle from this dealership, even more so when it s the owner himself s car. I purchased a sight unseen truck in 2020 from him and come to find out it was a buy back that another customer had Ford purchase back due to lemon law. Mind you this was his personal truck. So now I fast forward 3 years later and trying to trade it comes up on Carfax as a Branded title. Now when I call him to try and see if he can help me figure this out he is silent. He had a manager that doesn t even sell Ford s call me back and offer me the same amount another dealer offered me as if was a lemon. I say again beware of buying the owners personal truck when working with this company!!

You have to wait months to get an appointment so don't miss it. The driver needs a raise and is quite the valuable asset for White FORD. The integrity of even the used car sale persons is commendable. Don't buy the truck the engine rattles... then why do they have it for sale? But you can trust them to tell you the truth which is priceless.

My family was on vacation at lake Gaston when the blower for the air conditioner quit working. I went to the local NAPA store and replaced the fuses in the fuse panel for the blower. That did not work. Called Whites Ford in Roanoke Rapids and the service writer Ashley could not be more caring for our situation. She told us to bring the truck in and she would work it in, within 3 hours we had a diagnosis and a quote for the repair. We had the truck back within 24 hours. The personal there are outstanding. KUDOS to the team there (especially Ashley) so pleasant to work with.Thank you so muchCarlton shrieves

I brought in my 2018 F150 for an oil change, transmission flush, new filter, and to reset the door pass code. They had my truck for right at 2 1/2 hours. I was charged 955.00. When I called to discuss this, after I talked to my local ford dealership, they said it s how they make their money. I then told the employee in the service department that my local dealership said it should have been about $450 for everything that I had done. So, basically I was ripped off. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Quick service fixed my truck! It overheated en route to family right before Christmas late at night. Was able to schedule an appointment online in the middle of the night for first thing that morning on Dec 23. They got right on it and fixed the truck in a few hours. My local mechanic had been struggling with the issue for a year and couldn't completely fix it. Not to mention my local guy has a wait list for several weeks. Would be worth driving a few hours to have your car fixed here!

I want to thank the White Chevy Buick GMC dealership for their exceptional service during a stressful time. While traveling with my girlfriend and best friend to South Carolina the brakes went out on our car. After seeing another mechanic that told us what was wrong but was unable to help he sent us to White to see if they could help. Everyone was very kind and helpful esp Jeff Scott our service advisor and Doug ( our mechanic) they treated us like family and made the experience so much easier to deal with. Being 5 hours into a 10 hour trip in an unfamiliar place they took exceptional care of us and made the stress of it all so much easier. They were able to fit us in and get us back on the road shortly after. I can t thank them enough for their excellent customer service and professionalism and overall friendliness and kindness they showed to complete strangers and the compassion they had for our situation. I would recommend anyone to this dealership for the service center. Thank you so much for your kindness and help in such a stressful situation!

We were passing through Roanoke Rapids when we started having problems with our van. We stopped at White Ford and they turned out to be a total god-send. They not only stayed after hours to check it out, but got us in *first thing* the next day to get it fixed. All the employees were not only helpful but so kind.

White Ford, LLC Dealer had my vehicle for over 2 weeks where all we requested was a diagnosis as my vehicle would not start and was towed to White Ford. Each and very day my husband call for a status and was told something different each day. He was told, there was 6 mechanics were out sick. No matter what time of the day he called, he was told that the technician who was on duty, Nick was at lunch. He started to call every other day to give the mechanic a chance to perform the diagnosis on our vehicle. When my husband would call again, he was told there were one car in front of ours and that they would get to it. Again, we never heard a word so we called again and was told there were five cars head of ours. We called on the11th day and was told that the vehicle was being pulled inside where a diagnosis would be performed. On the 13th day, we heard nothing so my husband called and was told Nick was gone home for the day. I decided to call and explain the situation and how it was ridiculous that our vehicle had been there for 2 weeks and not once did anyone reach out to us to provide a status but we had to reach out to the dealer. On the Friday that my husband called and was told that Nick was gone for the day (approx 3:45 pm), I called and explained to the female who answered the phone and she put Nick on the phone. I proceeded to say to Nick, oh, I thought you were gone for the day. Nick was very nonchalant about our situation and stated that they were not able to perform a "complete diagnosis" because they didn't have time. So I begin to get irritated and ask (1) why would someone say you were gone for the day but you're not (2) why didnt anyone EVER call us to provide a status and (3) why did it take well over 2 weeks just to provide a diagnosis. Nick begin to tell me that I needed to have the car towed from the dealership as he no longer wanted to provide a service to us. The only service was allowing the vehicle to sit and wait until a diagnosis was performed which should only have taken a day or 2 if that. I called back to ask for a corporate number/contact and someone put Mr. Herb on the phone. Mr. Herb was very, very, rude, unprofessional and nasty. I begin to ask Mr. Herb the same questions that I asked Nick and asked what type of company was this that allowed the staff to tell lies to customers and not have any type of customer service ethic or empathy at all. He begin to raise his voice and so did I. At this point I was very annoyed. I asked Mr. Herb his last name and he told me that his last name didn't matter and that he was the corporate person for this dealership and that the dealership was privately owned. If you can own a business conducting in this matter, there should definitely be some type of standard/code of conduct to be assessed her. While I understand Roanoke Rapids, NC is a small town, people/customers shouldn't be treated poorly/unfairly because this is perhaps the only Ford dealer close by. I plan to pursue this issue further. I am the owner of a Lincoln vehicle and to request a diagnosis (not troubleshoot) and to encounter all of this mishap and rudeness over a span of 2 weeks is unacceptable to say the least. Nick, Mr. Herb and staff needs to take advantage of customer service training, ethics training and interpersonal relationship/communication training. Very poor, poor, customer service. Negative zero!!!!

We had a great experience with service at White Ford. An oil plug issue on a road trip (caused by another service station) left us stranded near Roanoke Rapids. White Ford took our car in immediately. Fast, efficient service, with a friendly staff who kept us updated. We were back on the road in 90 minutes. The mechanic and service rep delayed their lunch breaks to get our car repaired and us back on the road quickly. Very pleased.

Is there anyway to get in touch with the owner or a manager of this establishment? I have a vehicle being worked on going on 3 months and I would like to speak with a manager. I have requested for a callback at least 4 times in the past 2 weeks. When I call to speak to one. Will is usually busy, I am not sure if anyone else is available. I would very much just like to speak with someone on in regards to the progression on my vehicle as well as other issues. Thank you so very much.

On June 17th, travelling for vacation on a busy highway, my brand new Bronco broke down with two small children and all of our belongings. After an abysmal call with roadside assistance, I took it upon myself to call the nearest Ford store. That's when I came in contact with Nicholas @ White Ford. His tone and friendly manner immediately put me at ease. He stayed late to ensure they got my truck, placed an emergency order for parts for me and had me installed and enjoying my family and vacation in days. Hats off to Nick and the entire staff at the dealership. P.S.- I've worked for Ford for 34 years and this was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a Ford store.-Johnny

Recently I received a brochure in which the service manager says, "we care about you and your vehicle." During the 90 days it took to repair a pinched wire, and a bill for over $1000 the service manager, Will Mayle put 4396 miles on my special order Mustang. He was driving the vehicle home and on personal errands. The owner refused to discuss this issue with me. Management cannot be trusted. These people are crooks that should be in jail. BEWARE!!! BEWARE !!! BEWARE !!!

I was absolutely thrilled with the service I received at White Chevrolet. Mike Perkinson and Jimmy Webb were both an absolute pleasure to work with. From the test drive, to the trade on my vehicle, to purchasing my next truck, these guys went out of their way to make this sale perfect and pleasant. Everything we agreed upon was installed and work performed was excellent! This is the second truck I have purchased at this dealership and iI will be back when it is time to consider another vehicle. Thanks again guys!

This place is a joke! Carried my truck up there for some driving issues and at idle issues. Provided the staff with all service records, parts replaced etc.. After dropping the truck off, they quickly diagnosed the problem to be transmission related and recommend a new transmission. I questioned the diagnosis, how does the Transmission effect the idle, but was quickly assured it effects more than you think so I agreed. Paid in full before even picking up the truck. 4000 dollars later, the problems were still there. After trying for several weeks to get back in, I was finally able to. They told me to drop my truck off for an appointment on a Tuesday. Gave me a line we re gonna take it on the road, hook it to the computer bla bla bla . After 4 days I hadn t heard anything so I called, they had done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in 4 days!! The truck NEVER MOVED! At the end of the day, they wouldn t own up to the MISDIAGNOSIS of my truck, refused to at least DIAGNOSIS what s wrong with the truck after i agreed to pay for the necessary repair! All around a sham of an organization. Service in America is dead and buried. Would not recommend this place to change the oil in a generator.

Why only one star? My 2018 Ford engine blew, with no warning, while relocating. My car has only 33,000 miles and the oil was clean. Ford is replacing my engine as I am still under warranty, however they are doing NOTHING to help put me in a rental or bring my car to me once they fix it. Because my brother was driving my car but not on the registration they refused him a rental. They did offer me a rental(after days)from the dealer where my car had to be towed 22 hour round trip!! We already made that trip on my end to get my brother home!! So 11 days later still no rental still waiting on the replacement engine and now they are telling me they will not bring me my car when it's fixed!! Here's me , a single mom that just started a new job in a new location and Ford wants me to pay like $700( I don't have) to tow my car home?? Their product malfunctioned!! Ford should be doing EVERYTHING they can to help me, the customer.
