Tommy worked relentlessly to fix a difficult problem with my car, going to great lengths to do what needed to be done to put us back on the road. I highly recommend Mission Valley Service Station, especially for NCSU students!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I ve had my fair share with shady mechanics and this was not the case here at all. I am always hesitant to bring my car to a shop, especially alone as a younger girl. But this place made me feel so comfortable. They fixed my car for less than the place next door was going to charge me just to take a look at it.

My car is slowly leaking oil, and I brought it in to root cause. The Mission Valley team looked it over, topped off the oil, and got me out the door with no up charging and no nonsense. They're nice honest folk and will definitely have my business in the future.

Great! Helped out in a pinch. Nearby for students. My daughter had the car towed there, left keys and a note and in a few days car was fixed. They contacted me and my daughter for diagnosis etc. And felt confident by the reviews and talking with mechanic on the issue and fix. Thanks will come back!

I usually don t do reviews but this place is the bomb so i wanted to shout them out. dropped my car off right when they opened and it was done the same day when they were really busy (they always are). they did my yearly inspection and replaced a faulty tire sensor that had been annoying me the past month. not to mention they called me and asked if i wanted to replace it or not before they did it, which shows that they truly care about their customers and don t try to run up the bill. the price is very fair too. perfect location right across campus for students. if my car ever has issues in Raleigh again i ll be damn sure to bring it back here. these guys know what they re doing and they re very friendly.

Niles over at Mission Valley is fantastic and true professional. I highly recommend taking your car to them for all your automotive repairs. The quality and craftsmanship of their repairs reflects their experience in the industry. They really pay attention to detail. This is a honest family operated business and you will not be disappointed with there service! They updated every step of the way and had great customer service. Tommy was great! I had a minor issue with my window & had to get the master switch replaced! Everything was done efficiently! This will def be my new place for repairs on my jeep :)

Tommy is the best mechanic in Raleigh. Been here 50 years. He s the man! Treats people fair. I ve worked on cars, it ain t easy sometimes. Great shop.

Mr. Tommy is AWESOME !! My daughter attends NC State and had car trouble today and dropped her car off around noon and it was fixed by three. As a mother living far away and not being able to help her, I m so grateful and blessed that Mr. Tommy and his business was there to help. It gives me a peace of mind knowing that a honesty mechanic helped with the car. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Bring your car here!!!!! After seeing google reviews I decided to bring my car to Mission Valley, oh god they are efficient, easy going, and fair! Tommy is so kind and honest, no wonder this shop has such a great reputation. In this corporate world I truly appreciate this small business which has its reputation built by honest hard works.

Amazing service at an incredible rate. They work with you quickly and will not charge you a dime if they find out nothing is actually wrong with the car. They've helped me with multiple issues going on with my old Honda Civic. The Best! Tommy and his team of mechanics are always friendly, fair and do excellent work! Beyond being great mechanics they are just really nice people! The price is always very fair fort he market and they are super helpful! Best place to repair your car at reasonable price in Raleigh area. I replaced brakes for 2019 Chrysler Pacifica at mission valley service station. Total cost including labor is much less expensive compared to other auto repair shops. There is no question about quality. You will have quality repairs. Wait time is also not too long. I was able to pick up my car on same day. Make sure you drop your car early in the morning and you will have it serviced on same day.Service: Brakes

Beyond thrilled with the experience!! Dropped my Fusion off to have a CV axle replaced and was back on the road in a few hours at a great price. I'm very particular about who I have work on my vehicle, so when I saw all of the good reviews, I figured I'd stop by. Tommy was an absolute pleasure to work with! It's hard to find shops that take pride in their work like this, so I'm very thankful for what Tommy and his crew do for the community. Thanks again, fellas! I went to Mission Valley Service station on a friend's recommendation for a battery replacement. I was very happy and satisfied with their service.I talked to Blake (the service guy there) about my car needs at length. He patiently listened to me and was direct to the point. I left my car there for a day because they had a huge backlog of cars to service.They did a really good job and the price was very good compared to the expensive quotes I received from other auto shops.No sugarcoating, no mollycoddling and no overselling. They were crisp, clear and professional about their service.I will be going back there for my future car maintenance henceforth.I highly recommend this place to people and students if they are unsure about where to service their car especially in the situation that they have to pay for maintenance (if warranty does not cover) out of their own pocket.

I'm writing this review on Christmas Eve because these guys saved my hind today. It's about 10 degrees outside and my house condensate pipes froze which turned off my AC. Went to go to Lowes and realized my tire was completely flat. This shop was close to where I was so I rolled slowly into it hoping I wouldn't damage my vehicle on the way.These guys didn't send me off when they could have closed up shop and gone home to their families. They got me fixed fast and I couldn't be more appreciative. Will absolutely be back here for anything I need in the future auto wise and you should do the same!

Wonderful experience.Was driving thru area on my way to OH and had trouble with engine error lights. Car in limp mode. Called dealer, unable to help on Saturday Found Mission Valley, offered to look at it. We stopped by and he checked codes, knew it might not be something he could help with quickly and suggested we clear the codes and see what happens. Wouldn t let me pay for the short evaluation.Bottom line, at his suggestion we drove a couple of miles to see if codes came back. They didn t and we we back home that night.Great experience!

We picked this service station because it was near where our car finally gave out with a bad alternator. Checked the reviews nearby and got a good vibe from them. One day later and a fixed alternator and serpentine belt tensioner later, we are confidently on the road again. No upselling, no nonsense, just good people who know what they are doing. Couldn t be happier with the outcome. You don t stay in business as long as these folks if you cheat or do poor quality work. Tommy is always amazing. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. I see him for everything from oil changes to engine issues. I've been going to him for almost 5 years, and my dad has been going to him for car maintenance and other car issues for as long as I can remember. He's a great guy who runs a great business. All of his employees are outstanding as well!

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT. My car broke down, was over heating, so I'm thinking my belt broke. At approximately 2:45 p.m I Googled service stations near me, not knowing the area well. Well thank you Lord.. Mission Valley came up as an option. The 1st station I called told me he couldn't get to it till the next day. Then I called Mission Valley and a friendly voice said, Hello, this is Tommy.I explained my situation and he told me he would get it fixed that day. He gave me a # of a tow company that arrived 20 minutes after I called them. I was at Tommy's repair shop at 3:30. Not only was my belt gone, but a pulley had fallen off with another pulley loose. After replacing 1 pulley, repairing the other, installing a new belt and installing a new negative battery cable, Tommy's team had me on the road by4:45...Absolutely Amazing..and he charged me a very fair price. I work about 10 minutes from Mission and live about an hour away. I'm bringing my car to Mission, 1st choice. I want to thank Tommy for assisting me so late in the day and getting me back on the road. A very honest, trustworthy businessman from what I experienced.

Fastest, easiest, and most professional car repair I've ever had. Tommy and the mechanics were extremely communicative, pleasant, and polite throughout the whole (very quick) process. The reviews seemed almost too good to be true, but Mission Valley really is that good. The price and advice can't be beat either. Honestly, I wish Tommy could fix the rest of my life the way he fixed my car.

Tommy has been servicing my car since my first year of college. 8 years later and I'm still going back. He is honest about the urgency of various repairs to your car, and will charge you fairly for parts and labor every time. He has always gotten my car back to me within 2 days, no matter how serious the repair. He is a trustworthy guy, and I am happy to be his patron every single time.

Tommy (the owner-operator) is the man. His son is working there now too, and they are all great. Most importantly in the car repair business, they are always totally transparent and honest. They do good work and they are fair with pricing. My family in the area all take our cars there, and that's almost a fleet with just us. It can be a little tight parking, but what wouldn't be considering the location? They'll deal with it once you hand over the keys anyways, so it's no sweat. They also run like an old school service station, so if you pull in for gas, someone comes out and pumps it for you - usually Tommy himself. He is one of the hardest working humans I've ever met. Early am - 6pm, Monday - Saturday. These guys are like family to us, but that isn't adding bias, they are legit.

I took my car in for an oil change and also was worried about my suspension. They reassured me my suspension was fine, and offered to fix my noisy brakes. Turns out the rear brakes were bad and needed replacing. I have taken my car to four orher shops about the squeaking when I release the brakes and they all said it looked fine and didn't do anything about it, and would only change my oil and try to upsell me other services. I honestly completely gave up on trying to fix it and the squeaking was driving me nuts. I'm so glad it's fixed!!I'm definitely bringing my car here from now on and recommending to friends. The price is way better and the service is straight up and no nonsense with no upselling.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Tommy is awesome! Very sweet and efficient! I ve taken my car there twice now with issues that were fixed the same day and didn t cost me much. He recently fixed my car for a leaking coolant hose for only $120 when pep boys was going to cost almost $800! Definitely recommend this auto shop! :)

I have never felt being cheated here. When they are unable to do some repairs such as my catalytic converter they have referred me to excellent and honest places. I am very satisfied with these people. Tommy is getting very old and his son is now interfacing with people. His son is also very good and polite. People, don't get fused by Tommy's a little rude and hurrying behavior, cut him some slack for being old and honest. They have done many small repairs for free such as cleaning a clogged up AC drain pipe, topping up my steering fluids, and trip checks. They are also very fast and efficient. They work in old style, so they don't have a webpage don't have an appointment system, but, the work just gets done! Being almost centrally locatedbetween the main campus and centennial campuses of NC State University gives it a 5 star for convenience! I have been using their services since 2015!
