I didn t realize it would be done with single stage paint. I m use to dealing with clear and base coat paint. That said it would be helpful to provide care instructions for the paint at checkout. I had to call back and ask. It s a good thing I did because I was about to wash the dust off the car but luckily I called first and he said to wait two weeks. I ve spent the last several day trying to figure out how to care for the new paint job. You guys know best so why not provide that to customers . So I took the truck back due to a spot on the driver s door. I hate that I did. They redid the door but now it s a different shade of blue than the rest of the truck.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had my truck painted by Maaco. Was informed that this wasn t a factory paint job which I was well aware of, but for the love of god I m pretty sure they painted my truck in a sand storm. They painted the whole vehicle once, picked it up and quickly realized thousands of spots all over the entire vehicle. They then repainted a second time with minor improvement. Body work we discussed to be done was not done the first time then had to pay more for body work when they painted my truck the second time. They failed to cover several areas of the truck. Pretty much anywhere that was a minor inconvenience to spray they did not. And to top it all off they left several scratches from the sander running over several windows for me to live with. I had to call every time to get an update when my truck was returned to be re painted. They seemed to take their time on getting my truck back to me the second go around since they weren t making money on it that time. Strongly recommended to stay clear of this company if you have eyes and want to look at your vehicle.

I drove to Raleigh for them to tell me that because I have a Mercedes Benz that they can't do any repairs or paint . I ended up getting the run around from caliber collision and another place until I was referred to Xtreme auto spa on hargrove St. They have been a joy to work with and most definitely certified to repair my c350 sport

I went in today for an estimate to paint my entire vehicle. Salesman asked me what price I had in mind. I said give me your best price. He gave me a price and then after some discussion he dropped the price by $300. Very uneasy experience. I did not realize paint jobs were negotiable. Don't think I would do business with them.

Yesterday, I went to Marco on Atlantic Ave to receive a quote as to how much it would cost to patch paint as well as whole body paint. Well, the Assistant Manager, Martin O. Was helping an old white couple before me and was very friendly and chatty. He asked where they were from and they stated California etc and they talked about all the things going on in California with homelessness, political things etc. He then quoted them $1200 for whatever they needed done but could get them $900 something if they were to come back this week because business was slow and offering them 10% discount. He then proceeds to go outside with them to discuss things further.Next, it is my turn and he is not friendly, nor chatty and told me that my total was about $1300 and he could get me about 3% discount. I said thank you and before I left, I asked him well what about a 10% discount like you offered the couple before me and he gave me this smug look and stated well don t you have to discuss it over with your husband first. I stated yes but that had nothing to do with you not offering me the same discount that you offered the couple prior to me. I m a young black married woman and I do believe he was being racist against me so I called the corporate office! No one in an assistant managerial position should be allowed in this position that has an attitude, rude, basically up-charging customers. If you have the money and want quality service then please go somewhere else who values the customer and their money. I definitely will not be spending any of my money with this establishment and prayerfully they will hire better people.

I WAS A LAST CALL CUSTOMER FOR AN ESTIMATE OF THE DAY AND THEY WERE STILL NICE ENOUGH TO SEE ME & TRY TO HELP ME WITH SMILES ON THEIR FACES & OMAR WAS HONEST ABOUT THE WORK THAT THEY PROVIDE & I NEED MECHANICAL WORK FOR MY REPAIRS & HE MADE A GREAT SUGGESTION ON PLACES THAT ARE 1 STOP SHOPS! I recently took my vehicle to Maaco to get a paint job. While the car was in their possession, the car was vandalized, and the catalytic converter was stolen.While speaking with two employees with Maaco, I received conflicting information as to when the vandalism took place, and when the item was stolenOne person said that I brought the car that way. Another person said that they never heard the noise until today. I was also told that the item was stolen after the job was completed. In addition, I was also told that while the work was being done, the damages had already occurred meaning the catalytic converter had already been stolen.During this process Maaco had never reached out to me to inform me of any issues, or even to inform me that the work was completed. I had to contact them on multiple occasions for status updates, and yet again they never told me of the sounds that they heard (produced by the missing catalytic converter). They also mentioned that another Honda had also had its catalytic converter removed without consent of the owner.While speaking, with a representative by the name of Martin, he mentioned that my vehicle was nasty and said that $750 was not enough money spent for me to have a manager to speak with a manager and initially refused to call him.

After vehicle was repaired after countertop fell on my vehicle on I85 , we chose this autobody repair shop. ( insurance paid) WHEN work was completed for pickup I noticed scratches on new hood. Repairman said you have a good eye. Yes I do, and since car is older, I let that slide. But the Nissan emblem was not adhered right to our vehicles grill because it soon afterwards fell off! My husband waited a very long time for them to call to say a new one was in . Today, he goes to have it put on and they said can you do it ? Mr. Agreeable brings it home and of course I threw a fit. It is not hubby s job, It was this shops job to fix my car that my insurance paid them to do right the first time! (they are Lucky I didn't have them redo the hood). They are very nice people hopefully we will get new nissan grill emblem to adhere by them not hubby!

Maaco did a fantastic job painting my Miata and I only had to leave the car for a few days. Highly recommend and you can t beat the price. Will definitely go back if I need another car painted in the future.

I had been wanting to get my car painted for a while so we finally found Maaco(which we hv gone to in the past just a different state). My husband and I took the car to the shop, they looked over it and quoted us a price. I asked how long it would take and they said a wk to a wk and a half. Luckily we have another vehicle so no biggie. Well it did NOT take that long I think it took about 4 days max. There's only 2 "bad" thing about our experience and that's they aren't open on the weekend and they parked my car under a tree. With that said we were out-of-town so my car was there for a few days after it was ready. Aside from that our experience was pretty great, the staff was nice and they did a great job on my car. My car was a blueish gray color and I wanted it black with the metallic flakes. In the photos you may not be able to see the flakes, but she shimmers even thru the dirt. I had my husband rinse my car off when we got home because it was due to rain so no point in detailing it the same day. Once he details it I will post better photos.

I would not recommend and would not come here again! I took my car here to fully repaint it due to peeling. There were 2 different spots of dry paint drip (pics attached). I had to leave my car for another few days and borrow a car from a family member again, for them to fix what should've been done right the first time. After getting my car back the second time, there were black marks on the inside roof, above the drivers side seat (pic attached). I'm guessing from a hat or the hood that they wear, from whoever drove my car being too tall, as the seat was pushed way back. I'm hoping it comes off. This just shows carelessness and a lack of consideration for property that was left in their care. So, both times they had my car, they did not return it in an appropriate condition. I'm severely disappointed and angry at the poor service provided. The amount of money it costs for these kind of repairs should warrant better quality. I recommend spending your money elsewhere.Service: Painting

Had some surface treatment and paint work done on one of my vehicles. It was an absolute disaster, paint bubbles all over it. Paid in advanced and the manager said there was nothing they could do. Absolutely terrible customer service from management. Now I m needing to take my car somewhere else, and pay AGAIN! I ve had many vehicles painted in the past but being new to the area I gave them a try. Avoid if you want quality work.

We hesitated for a long time, trying to decide if our reliable, 28 year old truck was worth the expense of a paint job. Well, we are thrilled our "shabby" little truck is now gleaming and shiny again! I m very disappointed in the service I received from Maaco in Raleigh. I brought my truck in to have the driver side door replaced and the whole truck painted. After a month I got a call saying the truck was ready when I got there to pick it up the paint looked good but I noticed the molding was cracked it was the molding from the door that I had replaced and it was hanging off. I went in and paid the guy and get the keys when I opened the door it was not lined up right it had to be slammed to close. Then when I started the truck to adjust the mirror the switch did not work the none of the windows worked or the lock. The guy from Maaco didn t mention any of this and he told me that I needed to have the switches fixed on a door that I had him replaced which is crazy to me. I let him know that this is unacceptable and these issues need to be fixed. I didn t pick my truck up and I m waiting to hear back from them.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Do not trust them with your car, they won t fully complete the job. And take short cuts, plus when they mess something up they are quick to not take accountability and make up excuses.

Absolutely terrible work, many many marks on the painting job. They charged me for refinishing labor, which clearly was not done, so many uneven surfaces. I would highly recommend you avoid this location and proceed to find a different company!

Used the online estimator tool and was given a quote and the ability to schedule an in person meeting. Scheduled an appointment, drove to the location and was told that their system was down and the estimator was not on site, but was on the way. When the estimator arrived 45 minutes later I was told that it was first come first serve and I would have to wait for the other 2 walk in customers to be dealt with first. I patiently waited about 30 minutes longer until my vehicle could be seen. Before it was barely glanced at I was told that there was rust in plastic areas of my vehicle that are impossible to rust and that the vehicle would require significant amounts of body work. I explained that I was not worried about the one small ding in the hood or the cracked plastic. I explained that I just wanted the peeling clear coat to be sanded off and that the lowest level of paint to be applied in order to bring life back to my work truck. The unprofessional employee explained that it would be over $1000 more than the estimated cost and that they would not warrant any of it due to having to sand off the clear coat. The entire time I was spoken to with false claims and as if I was naive enough to believe any of them. If I could rate the operational capability and customer service a zero I would. I have had 2 previous vehicles painted by Maaco not sure what happened over the years.

Even after losing a couple of guys from the business, their staff stepped it up and finished repairing some places,,, and painted my truck. The team and staff that stepped up to the plate and ABSOLUTELY DID A REMARKABLE JOB LIKE OMAR AND a THE STAFF SAID THEY WOULD. And yes, I would absolutely recommend my friends and family to there vehicles to be repaired and painted there. TL;DR: Cheap and quick, but poor customer service. ----- The manager and salesperson I worked with were good guys. They were able to get me a quick and cheap quote which I was happy about; however, the inspection for the damage/quote was not thorough, so they ended up charging me later for more labor to fix internal damage. They got the parts, got my car in the shop, and did the work quickly which was great. But when I picked up my car, the install and painting looked great, but I immediately notice they installed the wrong model side view mirror that didn't match the other side mirror. They had to have noticed this, but didn't care enough to address it and hoped I didn't either. That being said I confronted them about it and they agreed to reorder and reinstall for free, but they kept ordering and receiving the wrong mirror. 3 months later, I still have the incorrect mirror on my car and I gave up on them because working with them is more of a headache than it's worth. I would advise anyone to go to a more reputable shop that can better handle customer issues because they didn't seem interested in really helping me out.Service: Body & Trim
