I'm glad to see the business running. I used them years ago around 1996 when he was near the bread store. Jim was kind, quick, explained my problem/the resolution, and was very fair priced. I went to a mechanic recently near him and I saw business had relocated and still kicking. I recommend this place to anyone.

Jim came highly recommended to me from my regular mechanic after I was experiencing an electrical issue that was draining my battery. Jim worked quickly to diagnose the problem and provide me with a solution. His prices were very fair and he was very transparent.Would send anyone with electrical issues to Jim.

Awesome mechanic! He s kind and professional. Greatly appreciate Jim, he was able to perform diagnostics on my vehicle and determined that there wasn t an electrical issue present. I was referred to Jim's because of an issue with my wiring harness. Jim checked and fixed it within a couple of days cleared all issues my vehicle had. He is amazing and Very reasonably priced. Jim is a very personal person. He goes the extra mile to get your vehicle repaired. His prices are very competitive. I was referred to Jim's Discount Auto Electric by a neighbor and before I picked up my vehicle I had referred Jim's to my friends. Lastly, anyone reading this review and needing auto electric repair, Jim's Discount Auto Electric is the place to go.

I took my 99 Chevy Cavalier to Jim's Discount Auto Electric at the beginning of last month. My car was having electrical issues that had been ongoing for almost A YEAR. I had already taken my vehicle to 4 other mechanics with nobody being able to properly diagnose or repair my vehicle. I had decided that Jim's was my last place to try and if it couldn't be fixed, I would be getting rid of my vehicle. Jim had my vehicle diagnosed within 2 hours and fixed just 10 minutes after that. It was very affordable and I almost couldn't believe my vehicle was finally fixed after SO LONG! I waited to give my review to be sure, but it has now been almost 2 months since Jim repaired my car, and it is running perfectly!!! I am so thrilled with Jim and his work and highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done. He knows what he is doing, he is honest, quick, and does it all at good prices. Just be aware, he only takes cash, so get some cash beforehand. I will be going back to Jim's anytime I have an electrical issue with my car. He is the BEST!!!Service: Electrical

Honest guy and was very helpful at helping diagnose my Kia's problem. Ive been dealing with my lights not working for 3 weeks now with no luck. Ive changed bulbs and tried all kinds of self diagnostics.I had hoped he would of be able to just find a short or replace a socket,but I found out I have a bigger issue that requires a dealers help. Jim was super prompt and professional answered every phone call and even left my car so I could pick it up after hours. He gave my a thorough explanation of my issue and didnt even charge me for the diagnosis. You cant find honest good people like him very often. 10 stars to you sir I will keep your business card just in case I need your help in the future.

We have used his service for many many years. Our family is very pleased with his services. He has always diagnosed our problem in a timely manner, fit us in quickly and charged us a very fair price. We highly recommend Jim. Start with him and you won't have to go anywhere else.

At the recommendation of Duty Tire, I contacted Jim and explained the low beam issue I was having with our 2016 Kia Sorento. I dropped the vehicle off, and later in the early afternoon, Jim called to tell me the problem had been fixed. And the charge was only $20.45. I know enough about automotive electrical systems to know that significant issues can cost a ton of money to correct and can be an area is which customers can feel like they have been raked over the coals. Jim identified the issue with the low beam and corrected it within minutes. He could have made a lot of money from me, but he didn't. I attribute that to honesty and integrity. Jim's Discount will from here on out will get my business in anything he does for autos.Service: Electrical

Jim is a great guy. He always gives you a fair price. He mostly works on electronics/computers and he will refer you to someone else for anything that he is not an expert in. He replaced the radio in my car and did a wonderful job. He charged me much less than I was quoted anywhere else. I have never had a negative experience with him and I refer all my friends who have computer or electronic car issues to him. The shop is a little tricky to find the first time. You will have to look for his sign which is actually after when you need to turn. Go through the fence and you'll see it on the left.

Another shop had told me there was a problem with my OBD port. Jim evaluated it thoroughly, determined that in fact the port is working normally, and charged me $0 for his efforts. He's a personable guy and I'll definitely go to him with whatever problems I have in the future.

Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. He worked very hard to diagnose an electrical issue. He was a clear and reliable communicator, honest and generous with his time. Jim got the job diagnosed and repaired in the time frame he indicated, for a very reasonable price. As another review mentioned, he doesn't accept cards, so plan accordingly.

Diagnosed and fixed the problem with my blower motor quickly and charged me far less than any of the other auto electricians in the area quoted me. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get electrical problems fixed.

Bad customer service tried to explain what was wrong and he told me to go somewhere else and let them fix it and hung up on me. I will make sure to tell Duty Tire the best place to go to get your car fixed they need to stop referring jim's horrible place
