Great experience. Fast & busy place, but in & out quickly. They really seem to care about getting you the right parts. If you call ahead, then they may even send you a text photo. Worked for me.

This place is a hidden gem. Called several part junkyards looking for a vapor canister. Was going to have to drive 1.5 hours due to needing it asap for inspection. Called Jackson's not only did they have the part but I was willing to get it pulled and picked up the same day which was a blessing. Would definitely use them again if needed.

jackson auto salvage is a magical place where cars think they go to die, but are given new life with the help of the garage crew mechanics and the owner, Tom Jackson. the auto salvage itself is pristine and full of hidden treasures. i was very lucky to have found my treasure at the perfect time: after losing my old car to an accident i was reunited with my favorite type of car: a HONDA! it is the absolute perfect car for me and i couldnt be happier with it s features: bluetooth, working sunroof, the tornado shaped wheels and the sleek black shiny color makes it look even cooler! this car was exactly in my price range and it runs like a dream ive only had the last time i owned a honda 14 years ago. i drive about 500-700 miles a week for work, school and my son. my car is essential in my existence; its safety and reliability are imperative. finding Stormy, my new honda civic from jackson auto salvage was a life saver. im very grateful! and will visit again.

This salvage yard isn't just pick your own parts, they also have a huge inventory of parts already pulled in their warehouse and have some new inventory as well. Just came to pick up a wheel for my 2014 Toyota Corolla and Jackson Auto saved me over $120 compared to prices quoted to me from my dealership & at least $25-45 when compared many other tire shops.I also came here 5yrs ago to replace wheel covers that were stolen off my vehicle while I was at work. Saved me a good deal of money back then as well.Customer service was solid. Professional & polite. The owner's wife was at the front desk and the owner fulfilled my order request himself in person.I drive out here from Chapel Hill and when K call ahead to make sure they have the part I need, it's always been worth the trip while running other errands that take me out to Raleigh. I don't quite understand the low ratings/reviews, but I can only speak to my experiences here which have always been great. Thanks for making sure my ride is road-worthy.

I got a 1993 Honda Accord LX 2 door coupe from Jackson Auto Salvage 2 years ago and I have put 70,000 miles on it since then. I am extremely happy with my classic Honda and Jackson Auto Salvage.

I worked with TJ and Gil at Jackson Auto Salvage to find a third row seat for a Ford Expedition. Both were very professional, courteous, and knowledgable. The whole process was so much faster than I expected. Having the correct tools and know how makes such a difference in removing parts.Thank you for the good job.I recommend working TJ and Gil to assist in finding and removing parts.Lisa

Only giving 4 stars because of the guy that changed my tire. Went up here on a Saturday to be told they had to close early and come back Monday. Come back Monday and then they told me they wouldn t have anyone to change the tire until the following Thursday. Then suggested I go down to Pooles garage but they said I would have to bring the new tire with. long story short someone ended up coming up and asking me if it was an emergency and I said yes and he kinda just dismissed me like just ring her up. Didn t say nothing about where to go or anything. They overwork the guy that did my tire. Nobody helps him and it s wrong.

I called looking for a donut tire for my daughter's car. Got a price. Got there told him what was wrong with the spare. The stem. He looked at it and said he could fix that. He fixed it within 8 minutes. Awesome job, company, service and owner.

This is "the place to go" if you're looking for dependable, and reasonable priced used auto parts. Tom, the owner, and his staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and go the extra mile to answer customer questions, and will call other salvage yards if they don't have the part you're looking for. When I needed a specific bumper, I called ahead to have it pulled and when I arrived, I bypassed the long line, and was in and out! Unless you are a mechanic, and want to pull the part yourself, I encourage calling ahead because this place is always busy! I don't mind driving from Durham to Raleigh, because it's worth it. And the coffee there is always hot and available! I highly recommend this salvage yard be your "first" stop if you're looking for good quality used auto parts. It will undoubtedly be your only stop!A definite satisfied customer!

extremely poor customer service. Would not sell me a part I was willing to pay for over the phone and rushed to get me off the phone because she had "a roomful of people" in front of her. Then she hung up on me.EDIT: There was no shipping involved. I was coming from a half hour away and made that known. I knew the part I needed. I was not willing to come, pay for the part, and then wait for it to be pulled. Every other salvage yard I deal with allows me to prepay then pick up the part when it is ready.

Great service and fast. The tire prices are competitive and they let you choose them. There is a particular person that works there whose name I won t mention, but he is a great, fast, and efficient worker. Excellent place to get parts, patch tires or tires in general. I would recommend you check this place out or call them to get a quote on a part that you are looking for. They offer excellent service and their personnel know what they are talking about. The front office is fast and will get you on your way in no time. Overall, great quality service at good prices.

Very helpful. It wasn t easy locating a rim for our car but Jackson Auto Salvage had one. George walked me through the process and made sure we got the right one. He shipped it as we were too far away to pick up. He followed through with everything. Thank you George!

I came here and they had exactly what needed. I called and George said he would give me a call back and he kept his word. He called and advised they had what i needed. When i walked in him and Tom were both knowledgeable and provides some great information as well as customer service . I would recommend this place to anyone. If you want fast affordable and friendly service Jackson Auto Savage is the place for you!!!!

This was a fantastic experience. Josh worked on fixing my tire he was patient at answering all my questions. The person at the desk I believe he is the owner was very honest and was not just about making the money and not helping fix the issue. Thank you for your great customer service.

I purchased a full set of used tires for my Scion TC here with about 80% tread on them. I even had them mounted and balanced. The service and price together were unbeatable. I paid 1/4 of what i would have paid for new tires.

One star is a lot for the customer service this place is offering, Without talking about the ripp off prices. I called Saturday for a price, when I got there, that price doubled because they knew I needed it so bad and it was too late to go somewhere else!!!!. Worse than that they gave me a wrong item that was not fitting my car, to my surprise when I returned Monday, I have to deal with the real and ugly face of this business owen and his employee, not even an apology.Lost the time, charged double pice for the parts, lost money on labor and have to deal with bad customer service.

If Tom does not have what you're looking for he will persevere and try to find it for you. His prices are always spot on and he is always friendly and just a great guy. Come by and use Jackson and get back on the road.

I called here yesterday looking for a pair of rims, was told they had what I needed and it was $75 for the pair. Called again to confirm they had the parts before I made the tip out there and was told it would be $75 each. I asked why and he claimed it had never been the original price and they d have to order a second rim bc they only had one so it would be even more. It may have been a misunderstanding, but the gentleman I spoke with cut me off and pretty much hung up on me. Super disappointed in my experience.Note for the owner's response:No sir your business does not strive to be great at anything, but disappointment. You attempting to leave a generic reply to a review I left MONTHS ago is further proof of how pitiful this business is.

I ordered a transmission from these people on Wednesday last week. The owner said the transmission would be in on Tuesday. Today I got news that my motor also has to be replaced. So because of the extra charges, I'm just going to junk my car. I paid $700 for a transmission on Wednesday and I called them today, Saturday December 26 2015, to get a refund because I have not received the transmission and I don't need it anymore because my car will be junked. He said that he could not refund me and could only give me store credit. They have a 60-day warranty for the transmission. What would happen if I got the transmission and it didn't work? Are they just going to offer me store credit or are they going to refund me because they don't have another transmission? The owner told me he could only give me store credit and can not give me a refund because he had to buy the transmission from someone else. The owner is not professional and is extremely rude if you don't believe me you can call and find out for yourself. I will never do business with these people ever again

Absolutely terrible service and all around business practice. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I talked to the owner after breaking down 4 hours from my house. He said he could have a new tire and rim (the parts I needed) out to me by Tuesday. This was on a Friday. I explained that I was in a bad situation and would have to stay with a friend and take off work but if Tuesday was the soonest I could get the part then so be it (nowhere else had the parts used at the time). He assured me everything would be fine. Tuesday comes and he sent me a completely busted tire in the mail and refused to give me a full refund. Not only was my money lost but 4 days of my time was wasted and I had to take more days off work. Long story short I didn't get home until Thursday. For the sake of customer service and trust everywhere please don't do business with this place.

I was delighted with the prompt service and quality of the parts received fromJackson Auto Salvage. It was amazing to receive hubcaps and a grill for our granddaughters 2000 Camry that looked brand new! The packaging for the shipment was well done and the parts were securely protected from each other and safely secured for the shipping and the price was great!

Jackson Auto Salvage helped me pretty quickly and efficiently over the phone. Was able to get a new (whole) taillight for my Saab for pretty cheap. George was a helpful associate and got the part for me before sending photos of the product and shipping it. 10/10 will be recommending this place to my friends who can t find cheaper car parts.

Customer service is horrible. Well, at least for me it was. I called 5 hours ahead to pickup a part, in which the Hispanic guy told me the part ( brake caliper) would be removed from the junked car by the time I arrive. It wasn't. Then he proceeds to tell me I need to pay with a credit card to solidify the arrangement. Okay, cool..no problem. But did he inform me before hand? No! A complete waste of time! Never returning nor would I give a recommendation.

Made the six hours trip to get my car and was met by some of the friendliest and nicest people, it was worth the trip. The vehicle was better than I expected and needless to say I left there a happy customer. Will recommend this place to anyone and will definitely do business again In the future thanks Jackson auto salvage
