Neil and Christina are wonderful to work with and always fun to be around! When Neil says I need something done, he gives it to me straight. I trust what he says. He does the work on time and at the price agreed. With Five Points Service Center, Neil and Christina taking care of my car, I expect it to last for a very long time!

Amazing customer service! I called this morning asking for help with my car and they immediately took me in and helped me right away. The family who runs this business is so sweet and talks you through every step of the process. They re completely transparent with all the prices and helped me understand how to get the best deal both at their shop and elsewhere. I will 100% be returning here for any future car issues I have.

Neil and Cristina are wonderful! They are turning around a local gem of a business since their ownership began in 2022 with their integrity and enthusiasm. I called for help w our cars and they had answers for us within minutes. I m so happy to have a trustworthy shop like this just down the way. It is going to make our lives so much easier! 5 Points Service Center helped me out with my vehicle s state inspection. Neal and Christina responded quickly to my request that I sent via their website. Had me come by Monday AM and finished the inspection before we finished our conversation. Easiest and best experience I ve ever had with a state inspection, and I ve lived in many states. Don t hesitate to have Neil and Christina help you with your vehicle.

Hard to find this good of service in Raleigh anymore. Very transparent, friendly, and straight to the point. They don t try to sell you things you don t need like most places around here. Would recommend to anyone! I got a same day appointment and they were more than happy to squeeze me in. Great people too!

Neil and Christina are the best! I ve brought my car to them twice and will keep coming back! Both times they have been able to squeeze me in super quickly and Neil explained everything that he was doing as it was done. (Special shoutout for doing my oil change from the ground when all the bays were busy so I didn t end up without my car for the morning)

Neil and Christina were the absolute nicest people we could have gone to. It was my first time there and all I needed was an inspection. They did it so quickly and were so personable. I know inspections aren t expensive but they treated us like we were top customers. I will be going back for anything car related and recommending them!!!!

Amazing customer service. Had a small window and reached to me to check if convenient. Had me in-n-out while checking if I was comfortable the whole time. Feel a lot better knowing I have a service station like this in my neighborhood.The abundant lollipops weren t a bad touch either!

This is the place to go if your car has a problem that needs diagnosis. He has multiple computers to pinpoint what's going on and he does a holistic analysis.First he gets into the engine and does a thorough cleaning. You might be surprised how much better everything works after that. Don't be shocked about what kinds of critters may have made your engine their last resting place ;)Pass this place by if you are price shopping, but if you are looking for a smart, competent mechanic, come here.My old car now runs like new.

My wife pulled into the station with a flat. She was greeted right away and helped by the owners wife! She found the leak in my tire. The owner fixed my wife s tire while she waited! She was back on the road in 30 minutes! The price and service was beyond excellent! It was so reasonable! The owners were friendly, attentive and went beyond to help! We live close by and will certainly be back!

*Updating my previous review*Had to bring my wife's vehicle in for emergency service. They did the research to figure out what the issue was, communicated it clearly to us, and fixed it in a timely manner. They even cleaned out under the hood and cleaned our wheels for no extra charge. The shop is truly a small business with there being only 2 employees. However, once they get to your vehicle, they will have it back to you quickly. We will be going back to them in the future for services.Called to ask about a state inspection and was told I could bring it in immediately. Inspection was completed, and I was on my way in just 10 minutes. Good, friendly service.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I HIGHLY recommend Five Points Service Center. Not only are they hard working and honest but they feel like what North Carolina is supposed to feel like: no one is a stranger. I was able to get an inspection last minute without an appointment because the owner was so friendly and squeezed me in. It s places like this that make me proud to call Raleigh my home. I won t go anywhere else for services that I can get at Five Points Service Center.

I just got my car repaired. This was my third time using Five Points Service Center and each time I have been satisfied. Most recently Neil went the extra mile to figure out the cause of my car stalling without warning and provided the remedy. I ll continue to use Five Points to handle any auto issues.

One star for location and one star for friendly staff. Be warned: I recently had an unpleasant experience at Five Points Service Center (FPSC). I felt that I was deceived and I wanted to share my experience so that others may learn from my mistake.Long story short: be cautious letting Neil service your car without a written estimate and authorization (illegal per the NC Motor Vehicle Repair Act).In November 2023 I took my car in for routine inspection. I had never used FPSC and figured I would give them a chance since they are in the neighborhood. Christina, who worked in the front, was very friendly and agreed to see me as a drop-in since car inspections take a few minutes. Unfortunately, I failed my inspection due to my check engine being light on, so Neil suggested a diagnostic test for $100. I agreed. The results of diagnostic test stated I needed a more detailed diagnostic test (an additional $379) which could be completed if I left the car for pickup later in the day. I agreed to have this as well.I returned later to pickup my car. First, the charge for the detailed diagnostic was $997 (~$600 more than agreed upon). I was shocked at the increase in price and I told Neil this was much more than agreed upon. I was not thrilled to be paying this much without even the repair! Neil voiced understanding and said we can compensate you on the back end with repairs to help off-set this cost. Second, in the detailed diagnostic report, Neil recommended repairing 2 things: vacuum pump ($1608-1650), and the intake manifold gasket (~$1500 to disassemble with possibly more repairs required). He recommended the vacuum pump replacement first due to low vacuum pressure in the evaporative system. What s odd was that there was no diagnostic error code noted for this specific concern.I decided to go forward with the vacuum pump replacement. I dropped off my car for the repair, and upon pick up my bill was $2500! We had verbally agreed to $1600, so I again expressed frustration with the higher charge. I left the shop with my newly repaired car, frustrated but hopeful that my car was fixed. I barely drove 20 miles, before my check engine light turned back on. Beyond frustrated, I called back Neil and he asked I return for further diagnostics at no charge. He mentioned it was likely the oil pressure switches needed replacement. This entire interaction just didn t feel right. I instead took my car to an Audi service shop. The mechanic at this shop reviewed FPSC diagnostic report and charges. He stated that Neil didn t need to replace the vacuum pump as it wasn t faulty, the cost of the repair was overpriced, and the diagnostic report didn t make sense. They determined that the check engine light was due to a cracked hose, that cost a total of $650 for diagnostics and repair.I thought about it at length and decided to call back Neil to follow up over the phone about my cost concerns and the discrepancies between the Audi mechanic s comments and what he recommended. Neil was very professional over the phone, stated he will not refund any money but asked I come back to his shop for further diagnostic testing and he will off-set the cost on the next repair. Unfortunately at this point I no longer had faith or trust in him, so I decided not to return.Overall my experience at FPSC was really disappointing and has left a lasting impression that I will be much more cautious trusting local car repair shops in the future.

Excellent service! Neil took the time to explain my vehicle issues and how to best care for it. Christina is very helpful and makes it super easy to schedule an appointment. Pulled in needing air for a very low tire. The young woman who seemed to be in charge could nt have been nicer. Stopped what she was working on to not only fill my low tire but took the time to check and correct all of them.I will definitely be back and highly praise their attitude!

Neil is an excellent mechanic that is especially good at troubleshooting problems. He works on all kinds of cars . When I have a problem others can't resolve I would take it to him. He is not the cheapest guy in Raleigh ( my opinion no facts) but his work is solid.

Awesome service with friendly people. This couple is awesome and they need to be recognized for the amazing work they do at the shop. They are specialized in german cars and me and my husband would pick nowhere else to take our VW s if they need any kind of repair. 5 stars and up!

Fantastic service and experience! Came in for a last minute inspection which was done very quickly, but then he also checked my tires and fluids - fixing everything in a matter of minutes! 5+ stars and will definitely be coming back for any future car issues.
