The guys at Firestone provide excellent service. They provide a level of compassion to you and your situation as well as an understanding to get the job done correctly that is hard to find elsewhere. I recommend speaking to Miles with any issue you may be having with your vehicle. For me, I went to Firestone for a mounting and balancing of aftermarket wheels. Their prices are reasonable and Miles was very knowledgeable on the proper process to mount low profile tires on large wheels. I am particular on who I take my car to and their level of care for my wheels was second to none. I was impressed by the service on the wheels and decided to return for an alignment. The alignment I received could be described as custom. I run adjustable camber arms on the front and rear of the vehicle as well as an aggressive drop to the ride height. It was not an easy alignment job but Miles and Donald were great and would not stop until they got the car aligned properly. The Hunter alignment equipment used is top notch and I am confident that I will get equal wear on all four of my tires.Safe to say I got the lifetime alignment option and will be returning with other vehicles.Check out Firestone and you will not be disappointed!

I had an excellent experience at Firestone this past week. My tires have been deflating much faster than usual the past few weeks. They spent an hour looking at two of my tires but unfortunately didn't find any nails, leaks, etc. No charge. They said to keep them updated on my tires in the coming weeks so they can take another look if the leaking continues. Excellent customer service!

I've had mixed experiences here. I live nearby and was able to take my car in on a Saturday when I got a nail in one of the tires. They fixed it without an issue, and then repaired the same tire for free a week later when it started leaking again from what turned out to be yet another nail.A year later, I took my car in for another slow tire leak, a tire rotation and a state inspection, and I had nothing but problems. It started with them not finding the leak because they were looking at the wrong tire. They blamed me for not using driver side/passenger side, which I did specify when I brought it in (I may be a woman, but I'm not an idiot). After several hours, they "found" the leak but said it was leaking from a plug (that they installed) and they couldn't repair it; instead they suggested that I also needed new tires and fluid flushes, etc., which I declined because I know my car's maintenance schedule and how to identify worn tires. After coming home, I noticed that they didn't rotate the tires on the side of my vehicle with the leaky tire (the tire was in the same place as when I brought it in).I took my car into another local tire place that said they would repair a plug, and after they did their inspection, they determined that (1) the leak wasn't coming from a plug, and (2) the tire with the leak didn't even have any plugs in it.In the end, maybe they were having a bad day, but I felt taken advantage of, so I won't be returning to this Firestone. Instead, the other place I found due to Firestone's issues will be getting future business from me.

First: I had NO problems with my right rear tire BEFORE visiting this store on Saturday, 7/26/14.During visit, I was advised I had a nail in my right rear tire. They supposedly fixed it.Tuesday, 7/29/14, right front tire slowing leaking, was able to drive back to have it looked at again because this was the tire they rotated to the front. Advised it had "another hole" in it this time. They "fixed" it again. Hard to believe no problems before I went there, now I have 2 issues with this tire.Friday, 8/1/14, today, right front tire almost completely flat - unable to drive. Called and spoke to Miles. Miles wants to give me "free of charge" a new tire. Really?I sure as hell am not going back for more trouble.Oh, this is not the first time a Firestone has screwed me royally. One day I will learn ----- STAY AWAY FROM FIRESTONE. Oh, yeah, and Miles couldn't resist on Tuesday, 7/29/14, talking bad about his employees behind their backs about not being able to empty the trash. What's that he said, oh yeah, "I have to babysit around here, no one seems to want to empty the trash" shaking his head from side to side. I was put off by that alone.I will NOT be going back to any Firestone. Probably like Jiffy Lube, sets aside money just for screw ups and don't give a hoot really about its customers. I'm done.Linda Burton

Decent service, decent price. Looks like they were great a year ago but service has fallen off. They lost my ticket for an oil schedule I had an appointment before and it took 2 hours. Manager gave me a coupon for free oil change. The staff is nice but they need better management and organization. I like this location because Crank Arm is across the street so I can grab a beer while I wait.

The guys are usually helpful and pretty quick. There was one time they took much longer than originally predicted but every other time was pretty close to when I actually got my car back. They ve always fixed things right the first time, and like any other car shop, they call you with a list of 10 other things that ll run $$$ that they could conveniently fix while your car is there.Alas, they re kind guys and don t talk down to you, which is something I appreciate as a young female. I recommend them even for a simple oil change.

The downtown Firestone location used to be a reliable and dependable place to take my car. They were on time and would always call me during the service window to let me know everything was good or if they had recommendations of additional service. The past two times has been sub par service. Each time they were delayed even after giving them plenty of time and establishing a pick-up time. There excuse, We got busy. No apology. No recognition that they were at fault. I m not sure if they ve had new management or something but customer service has gone out the window. At this point, I will be taking my business elsewhere and telling others NOT to get their vehicle serviced here.

First time going there a few days ago.. I was in a serious need of tires for my 350z. Everyone there was FANTASTIC! they took care of my car as if it was their own. From the Manager to the Techs I appreciate all the service. I went in for Tires and felt so good about all the work they did for me that I ended up getting a full maintenance done as well. I have been working with cars for the past 7 years now from modifying, tuning, and tracking. I am a extreme car enthusiast and felt 100% ok with letting everyone at this Firestone location work on my car. The manager Miles is extremely knowledgable on Tires and was also a pleasant person to do business with. I recommend this location to any who are looking for auto service.

I had some issues at another location and I came here to have it resolved. Ricky took great care of me. He was honest about the things I needed done. He also made me feel secure and not lied to about the needs of my truck. I will return in the future if I need services.

Communication needs work, attitude was terrible, I was trying to work within their busy schedule, came in the day before made an appointment for 9am. Dropped off car with the expectation it would definitely be ready before 5, but a call would be made before an alignment proceeded. Called at 11:30 to get eta if possible. Guy on the phone wasn't thrilled i was asking for a time estimate. Didn't complain to him.He said an hour till done. I was reminded him about the note on my order about approving the service. He said ok. Hour and a half later, i call and they say it's ready, after a confusing exchange they tell me an alignment is needed and it'll only take 15min after condescendingly explain ling things already known.Talked down to me when I was trying to ask why they hadn't followed instructions we agreed on at 9am at pick up. Was trying to just get out of there, was called several casually diminishing titles, was told that's how they are "nice." I may not be a car expert, but I know my car, and if I feel like I need to call to reconfirm something because directions weren't followed, there's no trust or respect.I'm taking my car to other people. I just hope the actual service was better than having to talk to insulting people who don't want my business. I guess that's the risk I've taken. Probably done with firestone as a whole.

This crew is honest, strong, and hardworking. They have completed about $3,000 worth of repairs on my car and I plan taking it back next week to another repair to my suspension, ball joints, and fuel injectors.Great place they are honest and if something goes wrong just bring your car back and they will get everything taken car of. I trust these guys and I can say if it wasn't for them I wouldn't still have my car. So to Miles and the crew thank you very much and I will see you soon.

Where is the negative star rating when you need it? Vehicle was towed here due to shredded tire. Geico referred me and stated that I would receive a 5% Road Side Assistance discount. The discount was only applied to certain line items and the clerk was extremely curt when I questioned him regarding this. He rudely responded, "Does Geico work for Firestone?" I stared blankly at him in disbelief b/c he was already rude over the phone when I called in earlier that morning to confirm that my car was indeed towed to this facility. He seemed pissed off that I did not accept his recommendation for additional services beyond replacing not just the single tire, but all four tires.Upon realizing that that my silence was just my way of maintaining my composure, he said, "I don't want you to be mad at me, but I don't want to lose my job." No worries - you kept your job, but you lost a customer. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. In fact, I do not intend to take my vehicle to another Firestone Automotive Center *ever*; nor do I intend to ever purchase tires from their line. Awful customer service. Finally, the cherry on top is that after replacing ALL four tires with no alignment and $1k out my pocket - my tire sensor light is still on! I live 30 minutes away and the light remained on the entire trip. I intend to go elsewhere to ensure that any further work is completed professionally and at a fair rate.

Worst experience ever!!! I ve owned many trucks thru my lifetime and have always had them serviced. I also am very mechanically inclined so I m very familiar with working operations of vehicles. This company changed my oil at a decent price as any other shop. I paid and left. I decided to check my oil a short period after and there was nothing on the oil stick. This truck had never leaked any oil whatsoever. I crawled under the vehicle to inspect. It was leaking from the oil plug. They over tightened it damaging the washer inside of plug. I returned to this same FIRESTONE without saying what I found. Just said I had a leak. They looked, it s your rear main seal leaking which requires a $1,000 job by dropping transmission. No charge and we can t do the work here. I continued to check the oil plug and under the vehicle every time stopping anywhere. Not a drip ever again. They completely lied by tightening the plug and never saying so. They are complete liars!!! Please don t trust this shop and do yourself a favor go to someone else that is reputable.

Good service once it's done, but it takes FOREVER to get something checked. You always have to leave your car. Then takes over 15 minutes just to have someone check the air in your tires. If you have all day to wait then this is the place for you.

I give Firestone a 5 Star rating because of the store manager. The manager took his time to make sure that he did everything he could to solve my problem. I felt that my business was appreciated, and not like I was just another "order number". After having a bad week dealing with tires, it is very comforting to be treated like I am a valued customer.

completely awful face to face customer service to the point where i felt very awkward. then they took our tire and without taking it off the rim claimed it was unable to be patched and tried to sell us a new tire.. SMDH. had my brother look at it, and he took one of the two nails right out and no leak and couldn't believe this place told us that. lazy and annoyed would be how i summed up how these people feel about their jobs. never going back and making sure no one i know does either.

I have used this Firestone for years. They are great. They work with you to figure out what's going wrong, and they are honest, knowledgeable, good people. Their communication skills are good--which means that they stick with you until you are satisfied, even if you didn't understand the first time around. Miles & Phil are the ones I've dealt with most directly, and I always feel comfortable calling up and saying, hey, it's Amy Nail! They are down-to-earth and friendly. I always wait for my car, and do work on my laptop. They are great about letting me turn down the volume on the TV so I can focus, rearrange the furniture to access a plug, and Miles even figured out a way to get me an internet connection. This is the first review I've ever posted here, and I created an account just to say these guys are great.

I ve gone to this Firestone location for several years with two different vehicles and have been a long-time Firestone customer at various locations over the past 10+ years. I'll review a few of the services I've had experiences with.TIME - Negative. First off, like most people said, they can be really slow. This is a busy shop, so if you go there, it s best to drop your car off instead of wait. Also, you're better off making an appointment vs walking in.BRAKES - Negative. I don t recommend them for brakes as I have had issues with loud squeaking/squealing/humming on both drum and disc brakes on two different cars within a few months of service and had them both redone.OIL CHANGE - Just ok. One of my cars was leaking a substantial amount of oil 2 months after a routine oil change. I discovered the oil filter was so loose that I could tighten it over a half turn. It would not have loosened up that much with normal highway/around town driving. Also, time comes into play again here. Don't expect a 15 minute oil change.TIRES - Positive. I'm actually happy with my tire service here and they will price match certain tire shops and order them for you. I saved quite a bit from shipping in via one of their partners and having them install/balance.ALIGNMENT - Positive. Spring for the lifetime alignment vs limited. I've had both and the lifetime (if you are planning on keeping your vehicle) is worth it.Why the low rating?Perhaps the final straw for me in that caused me to end my patronage with this Firestone location was the result of a routine oil change. One of the technicians closed the hood of my car on the hood prop, severing it off, denting the hood, and chipping the paint down to bare metal. I found out later from the store manager that this was one of their senior technicians, but this was never addressed with me directly at the time of pick up. There s no way that the tech would not have noticed that he broke off the prop, especially because it was placed back in the retaining clip after it was broken. I assume that because I am a woman, they think I don t look under my hood.Unfortunately for them, I soon discovered this and brought it to the attention of the former store manager, who ordered a hood prop and touch up paint from the dealer and told me the next time I came in, he would personally repair it. However, he left the store in the months before my next oil change and the new manager and techs didn t know what he did with the items. They said they would look for them, refuted that they would ever repair someone s damage to paint, and never followed up. Stellar customer service guys.I ordered the parts directly from the dealer and will be repairing their mistake myself. Fortunately, I have grown up working on cars and can repair most things myself, I just would like to be able to take my car somewhere that I can trust techs to do it right. If you re looking for a place like that, I would venture to say it is NOT this Firestone.

I made an appointment elsewhere to get new tires put on then I was turned away after I arrived because they didn't have time to do it that day. I needed my tires changed asap and didn't have a lot of time to spare due to work and I went to Firestone without an appointment and they made time for me and got my tires changed in less than an hour during my lunch break. Very pleased!

This place is great! Arrive there as early as possible, even if you have an appointment they are busy! I have coil overs and top hats on my car and they dialed in the specified camber and toe that I requested for the alignment, and also gave me life time alignments! I would recommend Firestone to anyone, they are very fair.

They had my car for almost 6 hours to do a state inspection, oil change, tire rotation and a simple brake job. Then as I'm leaving I noticed that they didn't do the state inspection. Now they had my car for over 6 hours and offer nothing more than "sorry" for the inconvenience.

Arrived for an oil change and was then told I needed a new battery and new air filters. After waiting an hour I found out that the battery that I was waiting for was not even in the building. No one updated me to this. Afterwards, I check my manual and found out it was not even the correct battery. I would not trust this business with my car if they are just going to lie to try to get more money from you. And while I was waiting, I heard one of the employees (I'm guessing the manager) berate another employee pretty loudly and call them a liar with customers in the waiting room. I have been waiting for a call from the distract manager but haven't received one. Clearly customer service isn't top priority for this company.

I take my car to Firestone for just about everything. This store in particular is awesome! I really appreciate how they let me know what service I need in addition to the services I came in for, but they don't pressure me or try to sell me. That really makes a huge difference for me. I will continue to come here.

Went for brake service at 11:00 am I told them that my boyfriend needed everything done numerous of times by 2:30 because he needed to go to work , after going on errands it was 2:15 and nothing was done. So I say it again about the time the work then looks at me with a stupid look on his face like this was never said before. So then they magically need a part or they can't put the tire back on. When if u knew this when you ran the diagnostics . But they waited to the last minute and my boyfriend missed work because of this when I would have been able to take him if they had there time management skills together because if we have to pay you . You are on our time not yours if you are giving a service that we pay for .

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. This place is a rip-off. Taking advantage of my 20 year old daughter. Her car battery was dying last Aug. 2017, she brought it here for a new battery. They charged her $30 to test the electrical system (which showed she needed a new battery - what she already knew anyway) and then $130 for a new battery and installation. The Interstate Battery lasted 4 months!! And then died. When I pulled it out of her car, it looked like it was 6 years old!! I think they sold her an old, used battery! I took it, and the receipt, to a different car care center and had it replaced under warranty. But I would never go back to this place ever again. AVOID THIS PLACE!

First I went to get a new tire. The salesman told me that I needed 2 instead of 1 and that I also needed an alignment totaling 300.00. ( he never said anything about the brakes)Of course, I agreed to it. Right after I left, my car started making a really loud noise from the front and a even louder noise when I would put it in reverse! It wasn't doing that before! So I took the car back and after they looked at it, they told me that I needed new brakes, brake pads, etc. Totaling 600+. I asked them why it didn't start doing that until after the first time they fixed my car and one of the guys said that it could have been a coincidence. Really?I would hate to believe that some of the people working there are dishonest but that's what it seems like. Don't go here please.

Took my car in because I had a slow leak in a tire. Just before they finished up working on my car, they called me to the front desk to show me the results from a battery test and brake fluid test. They showed me some test strip with purple on the end and said that I had copper in my brake fluid and that it should be flushed (an $80 service). They also said my battery was testing a little bit low and should be replaced. I they had taken the time to look at my brakes, they'd have noticed that they should be replaced in the near future and flushing the brake fluid now would be a waste of $80. They also left the tire and my fender above the tire covered in greasy hand prints. Not happy with the attempts to upsell me and the grease they left on my car.

Initially, had a hard time with staff, however, once the manager stepped in, could not have asked for better service. Assuming they figured out the issue, this is a great place for Auto care. And close to a lot of things in Raleigh within walking distance to do while you wait.

I cannot recommend this Firestone enough. There was a tricky issue with my national warranty account that Hector was happy to work with me through. Hector is a rock star! I want to be his friend!!!! Seriously though. Give respect, and respect will be given. Will definitely return.

Called yesterday for some new tires. Was told this place is now Permenantly Closed due to the lease not being renewed to make room for condos.Shame I've gone here since I moved to Raleigh five years ago to and it was so convenient and had honest good service from this place.
