I only write reviews when they re good or bad, and I had an excellent experience at this location. Most notably was Alex Jelokhani s customer service. From start to finish, he was nothing short of exemplary. Great vibe, very personable, and textbook professional. I was in and out in a timely manner and I d recommend this location off of his performance alone. If I weren t moving, this would be my go-to spot for inspections without a doubt.

I was looking for a pre purchase inspection and rather than taking my business they referred me out because they wanted me to get the best service for the unique car that I brought. Very nice with it. Very few mechanics are that thoughtful

Been going here year after year for my car inspection, you are in and out in 15 mins, it's why i can safely say I go on my lunch break. Wonderful and friendly folks!

Not sure what the owners name is but I have been taking my fleet of trucks to Capital Oil Change / Service since 2017 and they consistently do a great job in a timely manner, great job Sir and employees.

These guys are the best, no appointment needed and they are really fast. I was looking around 3 other inspection sites and they can t do the inspection to my hybrid. Here they did it in no time. Thanks guys

Went to my usual place. The internet is once again down so no inspections. I went online to find Capital Auto Inspections on Capitol Blvd. only a few mile away. They were friendly polite and quick. They are so quick every time I need to bring my car in, and always answer my questions without making me feel dumb no matter how stupid the question is (I know nothing about cars).Their prices are better than anywhere else I've been too, even with prices going up everywhere.Highly recommend!

I've only gone to Capital Auto inspections the entire seven years I've lived in North Carolina. The place lacks the luster of bigger shops, and I think that's very wholesome. No gimmicks. They seem to be a business dedicated to business and service instead of upselling tactics for stuff I don't need. The folks are nice, they do a great job, and I could stare at the license plate collection all day, looking for places I enjoy. I'll keep coming back!

Hector has been absolutely amazing over the years to my family and I. We all bring our vehicles to him for oil changes and all other maintenance needs including but not limited to tires, spark plugs & just all the things. He is always through always careful and honest. His prices are reasonable and his attitude is always great.I recommend him to everyone I know !Service: Oil change

Came here yesterday with my hyper 5 year old son and there was 1 -3 cars ahead of me having separate services done on their vehicles. We patiently waited outside at their picnic table for about 20-25 minutes and my car was finished and we were ready to pay & leave. The guys running this place are awesome, and very quick and efficient with their work. This is my 2nd time coming here for my cars yearly State inspection, and I feel happy / satisfied with coming. I would gladly recommend this little business to my family and friends also needing a state inspection done or any of their other services.

Thanks to Alex, this Will now be my go-to place.I was in need of an inspection and of course I waited until the last day. I was stressed that I couldn't get done but Alex got me in and took care of me very quickly. He was very nice and professional. I will absolutely be returning here for any of my vehicle needs.Highly recommended!

Had a great experience yesterday late afternoon. Was in and out quickly and even got an oil change. Great staff and the music played in the waiting area was really good.

I appreciated the honesty of the mechanics. Just moved here and they explained to me that I didn t need to get the state inspection yet, and had a years exemption. Other places did not explain that and charged me for my other car. I will definitely return for light auto work in the future.

Took less than 5 minutes or less depending on how busy they are and they also check your tire pressure and make sure all of your fluids aren't running low. The prices are very reasonable. I came for an inspection at 9:20 am on a Monday morning mid-month and was greeted by a friendly employee right away. He had me in and out by 9:40 with a passing inspection. It was by far the fastest and smoothest inspection I've had. I'll come back each year from now on.

My family and I have been going to these guys for years and they're fair, reasonable and know what they're doing. It's in a good location so you can easily fit it into your errands and get in and out.The people are friendly and make it comfortable to come here whenever you need your oil changed.

I ve had my Jeep inspected here every year since I moved to this side of town & I can t say enough good things about this place! All the guys are friendly & they know what they re talking about.Today I had my rotors & brakes done as well as my thermostat replaced and again, they did an amazing job. The price I paid was very fair & I had my jeep back within a few hours. I will be coming here for everything my vehicle needs! A lucky find.

I went here for an inspection last week and asked if they could zip tie my oil pan cover back in place for me since it had been removed during my last oil change. The guy pulled me aside and said he would do it for free if I tipped him. They finished up and brought my car around and I handed him a tip, then when I got home I saw my oil pan still sitting in my back seat. They were nice and everything but I definitely don t appreciate their dishonesty. I took off work to do this inspection and it s frustrating that I have to go somewhere else and spend more money to have it done.

I would give these guys six stars if I could. I only take my cars here for inspections. They are fast, extremely friendly and, most importantly, honest. I think they are the first shop ever to not tell me that my brake pads were at less than 20%. Prices are also very reasonable.

I stopped in here because it was on my way between two places early in the day after dropping my daughter off at school. The service was VERY quick, I was back on the road within 15 minutes despite there already being another car ahead of me. I got there within fifteen minutes of opening and there was already one car in the inspection lane.This was my first time getting my 2018 Prius inspected, I didn't realize there would be a tinted window fee, but I presume that would be the case at any inspection place because I know I've heard of people being told their windows are overly tinted and I know the police can ticket you for having overly tinted windows. (Mine came that way when I bought it used.)I'll definitely try to make it back out to this place again next year even though it's a bit out of my way. I like dedicated inspection stations that aren't car repair places that also do repairs. I used to go to Peace Street Inspection Station but they've recently closed.

This is the only place I take my car for inspections, oil changes, and brakes. Very helpful and kind staff, and very fast!
