When I tell you God works in mysterious ways. I was referred to the shop for my catalytic converter. Spoke to Mr. Allen and he told me bring it in to the shop dropped it off yesterday evening after shop closed. Got a call this morning my car was fixed. Mr Allen is an amazing professional mechanic. If you are looking for a great shop this is the place you need to take it. Wish I could give him 10 stars + . I appreciate him taking care of my suv. The shop definitely has a life time customer. Don t look no further than Bob Muffler shop .

Great service. The staff were kind, ready, and willing to negotiate with me on a reasonable price. The guys worked quickly and, as far as I can tell, did a great job. Myself, I'm not much of a car guy and was nervous about bringing my car in for multiple reasons, but they made the whole process simple and clean. Thank you guys.

Was the best experience I ve had I ve never been there was my first time my exhaust had a rattling noise. It could never figure out what the issue was. Went to a lot of different shops. They couldn t figure out the issue. I went there within 10 minutes they told the issue they let me see the issue and all they did was slide my exhaust back a little bit And it fixed the issue. Y all need to see the man Edgar he s the one that fixed the issue really quick appreciate it guys.

It s now identified as Tonys S Muffler and Custom Raleigh, NC . Let me tell you something! They have never disappointed! They are simply the best! I encourage you to go to their shop! If you re thinking about it, stop thinking. I promise you!!!!!!!!!! They are amazing! I ve never had any problems with my vehicles! They always make your vehicle sound according to your preference. They do amazing work! Every new car I get I take it to them, I don t trust anyone else working on my vehicles. If you want to make a good decision, try this place out. I have used Bob's Muffler Shop for two different exhausts. Both times, I had my own muffler and exhaust tips, and had the shop weld it all up with custom bent pipes. This shop is a small town kind of mechanic, so if you are looking for a large corporate style shop with a bunch of amenities, this isn't the place for you. What this shop does have is a basic waiting room with a vending machine and TV, small town charm, great prices, friendly service, and excellent work. I had specific needs with my latest exhaust work since it was for a rock crawling SUV, and I needed the pipes as high as possible to prevent dragging on rocks or binding up when the rear axle flexes. The tech was very friendly, let me hang out to take a few photos for social media, got my final input on pipe routing before welding everything up, and was incredibly skilled with getting the pipes precise (he told me he had been doing this for 20+ years now, and his experience was evident). For customers like myself that are auto enthusiasts and not just looking for a basic "drop-it-off-and-let-me-know-when-it's-fixed" kind of repair, the level of care they had to ensure they got the job perfect was absolutely impressive. You can't get that at a corporate shop.Service: Exhaust

I've been bringing my vehicles to Bob's Muffler shop going on 20 years. They are friendly and knowledgeable. From my big trucks to small cars they always do a great job. Highly recommend Bob's Muffler shop for all you exhaust and welding needs.

Holy smokes, wow! My wife and here mother were on a road trip visiting family in Cary, NC. The muffler on the van literally fell off in the front - rusted through completely. Bracket on the back held it on the van, but they were in a world of hurt - especially since the next day was another day of driving.Called Bob's Muffler Shop and explained the situation (I'm a few states away). He simply said, "Get them here and I'll get them taken care of." They showed up (this is a modified mini-van for handicap ramp, etc.) and literally left 15-20 minutes later.Can't thank you guys enough! Awesome job! Had a Borla ATAK cat back exhaust installed. Full install took maybe 1 hour. Fair price at $220. Can t ask for better service. Ask about his black Mercedes. It sounds ridiculous

Went in a week before my appointment to book and had to choose a specific day because I m busy with work. Went in on the scheduled day and was told to be there before 10 am and put the keys in the drop box and to my surprise, the drop box wasn t there. So I waited an hour for someone to show up and was even more surprised to see another customer (they are usually booked out and can only do one appointment a day which mine was gonna take all day). I left to look around for other places and on my way back home I rode by there and they were open!!! Not sure what s going on there but I don t have a lot of time to spare and it was definitely wasted here. Also, they NEVER pick up the phone. Ever.

Believe it or not some person(s) cut and stole the catalytic converters from our 2 CHURCH Buses. I called around to a few different shops and after comparing prices decided to go with Bob's Muffler. They did a superb job at a great price and completed the job sooner than expected. Highly Recommend!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

They did work on my car some years ago and did a great job. I was happy with results. However, recently I haven't been able to get in touch. Went by during hours of business and no one came to the lobby or through the garage. Hope they're good.

I called to schedule an appointment to get a Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow with a chrome exhaust tip on my truck and they picked up the phone and got me on the calendar. So polite and easy to work with. When I got there everyone was very nice, good southern feel, and they got started. It took longer than I expected for the work to be done, but the welds were perfect (still are) and everything was done professionally. Prices were exactly what I was quoted prior to the appointment, fair price for the job being done. I highly recommend Bob's Muffler Shop and will take further exhaust business to them in the future for repairs or if I change my setup.Service: Exhaust

Needed a catalytic converter put on my Rv and exhaust on my daughter's van. Excellent work and reasonable price. Would recommend . Friendly and Professional, Honest work and recommends only what is needed, not more. Will come back again.

Great work, professional customer service, and very fair pricing. It took a few days for work to be completed (catalytic converter and muffler) but they were up-front about how long it would take, and finished work ahead of schedule. I'd go back without any reservation.

I've used them a couple of times. Most recently I just needed them to determine why an 09 Altima was suddenly making too much exhaust noise. Due to work schedules I had to drop if off one night after closing and pick it up the next after closing, but they were very accommodating with that. I called on a Wed and they had a slot for me the next Monday. They found and fixed a needed repair for a very reasonable price, so not a big job, but done quickly and with no drama, so thanks for the good experience.Service: Exhaust

Literally the best car repair experience of my life. I had a same day appointment. When I arrived they were ready for me. I waited less than half an hour for my car to be repaired and way under what I was expecting to pay. Fabulous would recommend to anyone!Update: Went a second time. Still Amazing. 5 stars again.

Just had custom exhaust work done on a Corvette here. Alan provided a good option, price, and got it done. Workmanship is great, and these folks are fair and honest. May be hard to get an appointment if you are in a hurry, but patience is a virtue! They are busy for a reason, and that is a good thing. You'll be glad you waited if you can. Or perhaps go somewhere else and get ripped off, just saying.

fantastic service, fast and respectful of appointment times. It's the first time a mechanic has invited me back to look at the problem while the car was up so I could see it. The mechanic discussed the problem and possible solutions patiently and did not pressure me to choose the more expensive option nor did he make me feel bad for choosing the less expensive option. Super fast service. I was in and out in 20 minutes. More than fair and affordable.

Yes I recommend them, no they aren't the friendly crowd and waiting room sort of sucks but who cares they Absolutely the most honest Muffler shop in the area with the best prices around. The best way to describe is they are straight up and Frank salt of the earth guys. So if you can not wear your fancy pants and be cool they will for sure do a good job. They could have ripped me off twice as I went in there thinking I needed all this work done, nope just one part that's it.

Bob's really was a life saver. After finding out my catalytic converter was in need of replacement, I was able to get it fixed the same day and for literally $1100 cheaper than my quote from Precision Tune Auto Care. I had my muffler and dual exhaust replaced here on 1/18/2013. They did an excellent job with good craftsmanship, were professional and very friendly, and had the job done quickly and when promised. I felt like I was treated with respect. Their prices are reasonable as well. You can tell this is run by owners and family who care about their business.I would definitely recommend using them for exhaust work on your vehicle FAR FAR FAR over and above the "chain" shops.

I had a wonderful experience! It was much cheaper than I thought it would be, and my car was ready in 30 minutes! The gentleman who fixed my car was very nice and kept me informed. My car sounds great now! I would highly recommend Bob's Muffler Shop!

Had the guys there toss in a pair of resonators on my Camaro ZL1. was just the thing to tone down the exhaust note. Solid muffler shop and the guys were knowledgeable enough to work with my on the solution i was after. solid looking welds and i'd trust them with future work. Took a couple attempts to get someone on the phone to get an appointment but they were on time, and got it done quickly.Service: Exhaust

This place is great. I walked up, decided on a muffler and by the time I was done paying, they were done with my car and bringing it down from the lift. The second time, they fixed my exhaust leak for $100 while the next estimate I got was $700+.I wish all of my auto repairs were this easy.

These guys got me in and out in less than a day and saved me $2500 on getting my stolen catalytic converter replaced. Every time I called someone picked up the phone within 30 seconds and they didn't mess around trying to nickel and dime me. I took a look at the welds they did and they look pretty solid and they definitely do not leak at all. Hopefully I won't get my catalytic converter stolen again so I won't need to return, but if anyone needs exhaust work don't mess around...just go here.

Great service as usual. They did my Flowmaster system in 2001. Plus redid the rear pipes about 10 years ago. Just redid the system again 17 years later. Great quality work. Highly recommended.

I have been working with Randy and the team of Bob's Muffler for 4 years now and I leave a happy customer every time, with good work done to my vehicles. Very hard nowadays to find honest people like them. Keep up the good work guys!
