Referred to Autobahn by local VW dealership that had no interest in working on our Winnebago Rialta Eurovan conversion van. We contacted Autobahn & explained the problems we were having with our air conditioning. We were pleased to discover they had significant experience with our vehicle.We found Autobahn to be extremely knowledgeable & communicative, which ultimately led to a relatively inexpensive repair for our a/c issues. Their shop is convenient, clean & organized. Robert, the owner, is outgoing, friendly & seems very conscientious. Robert and his staff at Autobahn Automotive provide excellent service. They maintain our four vehicles and keep them in great condition. It's amazing how our two older vehicles (2004 & 2005) run like they are new. We won't take our vehicles to anyone else.

The first shop I took my Audi to gave me an estimate of $10,000.I took my car to Autobahn for a second opinion and it saved me nearly $4,000.If you re looking for honest professionals look no further. They do amazing work and don t try to pick your pocket with extra costs. I ll attach a before and after picture of some of the repairs they did.

Robert and Autobahn Automotive are wonderful. This week was a regular oil change appointment and my Audi Q3 is running great, ready for winter! I ve taken 6 different vehicles there over several decades. Besides the shop s solid mechanical work, Robert is trustworthy and knowledgeable. Thanks, Robert!

Robert and his staff were amazing. My vehicle started acting up over the weekend to the point where I didn t feel safe driving it. I m not from the area so I don t have a mechanic here and I called around to several places. Most were closed because of it being the weekend but some wouldn t get me in for 10 days up to 2 weeks - not even for an emergency. I left a voicemail at Autobahn Automotive on Saturday and Robert called me back first thing Monday morning before they even opened telling me I could come in that day. They checked everything out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it all within a short amount of time. I m very thankful for them and their willingness to put customers first. My experience started with a problem with my car while we were on a very important road trip. Robert took my call from the road and gave me some great advise on how to proceed on my trip. I have been going to Autobahn for years and fully trust Robert and his team. Today they went above & beyond. I was in line for gas and my car shut down. It was the battery but all of the cables to jump it weren t working. I called Robert and he sent one of his employees to meet me, who then successfully jumped my car, and followed me back to the shop to make sure I got there safely. Robert had a battery waiting for me & replaced it within an hour. You can t get better service than that!

Always such great service! Great place, Robert and staff always so thorough in checking over car. They always tell you if they see something that may need attention well in advance, and always inform you should any issue be in need of urgent attention. They even will take photos and text them to you to see. I don't worry about anything concerning my vehicle when I drive away from this great repair shop. When I now drop off any of my vehicles, I just tell them to do whatever they deem necessary to keep it running great and safe!Services: Tire rotations, Engine repair

Impeccable - highly ethical!I've been a customer for I believe over 25-30 years. I keep my cars until they reach very high mileage and cannot run any longer. Robert has been with me through my Honda Civic and Toyota Camry and now my Camry has 235,000 miles and still running great due to the great knowledge and service Robert provides. Robert is the top expert in his field and I will never find a more knowledgeable or ethical person to work on my cars. I would not go to anyone else. Brought my Porsche 911 Turbo S in for a coolant leak that required the removal and reinstall of numerous parts to fix. This was my first time using this business so I was course a little skeptical. These guys did an outstanding job putting my car back together. and went the extra mile to make sure everything worked like before. Amazing!! Great Family Business! This business was recommended to me by my son in law. I needed major repairs like wheel axles, etc. I had gotten an estimate at my local dealership for $1,700-$1,800. The price for the same work at Autobahn saved me hundreds! It was very organized. I was given a price, told the work could be done that day, and when I picked up my car, they gave me what repairs I could expect for the next year, and a price. My car is a 2011 Sonata with 114,000 miles, and they showed me several things that I could do to keep the car longer. I left having saved money, my car is really organized with what and when to do next. I now have a safe place I trust to fix my car, and that is a huge thing! Friendly staff, great family owned business. I told my daughter she needs to get her car done here, and she lives in Charleston! I am so happy....

I can't say enough about Robert and his crew at Autobahn. Look everywhere online and you will see an outstanding rating and review and for good reason. Robert treats you like family with the best advice, attention to detail and service. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I have bought 3 Mercedes-Benz vehicles in 4 months and Autobahn has served each one. Robert knew I was a repeat customer and that I was a customer for life and the last two vehicles he didn't even charge me for the inspection I had them do after I bought the vehicle. He knew I was a forever customer and they would be doing all my services. The only place you need to go for your important vehicle needs. You will be a life customer like my upon your first vist.

Recall the old adage about car mechanics: Quality, fast, or cheap--CHOOSE TWO. Autobahn's work is high quality and very fast, and I've yet to walk out feeling like I didn't get a fair price. Did I mention they're fast? Often my car is ready to pickup the following day.On top of maximizing value, they are also very good with communication. You can schedule your appointment online and drop your car off after-hours in their giant parking lot. There's a drop box with envelopes and Sharpie pens for leaving your key. They confirm receipt of your car (usually via email) and always provide a quote before beginning work. While working on your car, they will diagnose any other issues the car may have or may develop in the near future, and they aren't pushy about addressing these issues immediately.Autobahn even sneaks in free work sometimes. In the recent past, they fixed a vacuum leak for me free of charge, just a week after Robert fussed with an electrical issue with my tail light to get it up to code for inspection.I highly recommend Autobahn for routine maintenance and car repair. They use OEM parts (never cheap, aftermarket parts), and I don't believe there's any car they can't figure out--European, Japanese, or otherwise.

My boss recommended Robert to check some repairs suggested by another national chain. He emailed me his recommendations along with pictures then discussed them in detail on the phone. He did the repairs needed and followed up by emailing me pictures. He discovered that the other place did not replace the oil filter when doing the oil change. This was the first time having Autobahn service my vehicle but definitely not the last.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Autobahn has been taking care of my car for 5+ years. They are skilled, reliable, trustworthy. Every piece of work is explained beforehand. If a problem arises, Robert or Matthew brief me fully before they execute a solution. Great service, great mechanics, great people.

Very careful attention to detail at this facility.I purchased a used 2009 Audi A4 convertible privately about a year and a half ago and have never taken it to a repair shop before this visit, as Robert was extremely helpful and knowledgeable re taking care of the small things that needed attention as well as some important recommendations to be addressed in near future. I've been going to Robert for many years now with no plans on changing that. I've been very pleased with their knowledge, the level of service provided and attention to detail. He always remembers that the oil fill requirement on the variant of my car doesn't match the service manual and double checks to make sure it isn't overfilled, and more often than not does the work on mine himself. I wouldn't hesitate, and have recommended Autobahn to others. Also Duke is great company in the waiting room!

I'm very impressed with Autobahn! I went searching for a new mechanic for my mom's VW. Tired of dealerships and other mechanics not really caring about their customers and charging for the same issue over and over. She's been taking her car to Robert now for about a year. While on a cross country trip I had some car problems and worried about being able to make it into Raleigh. I knew it would probably be a chunk of money to get this particular issue repaired. When I finally called Robert to book an appointment he was able to get me in immediately and had my car back in tip top shape by the end of the day. Best part, my bill was under the amount I was expecting to pay, and I could tell he did a little more than I actually asked without charging me extra!!Great service, great mechanic!! Will gladly be referring them to others looking for an honest thorough mechanic!! Great job Autobahn!! Glad to know my mom is finally in good hands!

Quality service!!! I'm very particular about my car and won't just take it anywhere. Robb came highly recommended, and I am glad I went with him to upgrade my suspension on my brand new Audi. As it turns out I was shipped the wrong parts (purchased separately), which Robb caught right away. To think i could have done permanent damage to my car if it hadn't been for such a quality oriented shop and the wrong parts were installed. Thanks Robb!
