David and his crew did an amazing job fixing my transmission on my 2017 Nissan Rogue! I have been driving my car for 4 weeks and it s working great! I even brought it back to get my transfer case replaced. I highly recommend Affordable Transmission! Oh and guess what!!! I made it to Texas! Thanks guys!

Transmission started slipping in my 02 mustang gt. Shopped around for about 2 weeks before I came across affordable transmission and i'll say they really live up to their name. Not only that but the quality of the work done was outstanding. Still breaking in the transmission but I can already tell the difference due to the fact that I had david and his crew beef up the transmission just a bit and like I said the quality of the work done was superb. Would 100% recommend anyone bring their transmission troubles to David and his team, not to mention they completed the work done sooner than I expected. Thank you again to David for getting me back on the road and running right!

Their performance is amazing, the customer service is good, and they're fairly prompt. I give them a 4-star because even when faced with the data and evidence, they think they know better. Understanding that you can still learn something new after 40+ years of experience is a sign of a true professional.Even after having a reman transmission installed, the shuddering condition still persisted. But when you begin to rely on DTCs to tell you what is wrong, you begin to believe "no code, then it just isn't so." That is a bad practice for properly diagnosing certain problems since the ECM, TCM, and other systems do not necessarily trip specific codes every time a certain condition is present. But what do I know? I only changed my first manual clutch at 17-years old.

They took care of my work van quickly. And then I had a question about another problem they had me bring in the van and did a complete diagnostic and fixed a problem that was not related to the work they did. Will be taking my other two vans over later this week

Called day of for a transmission fluid fill on my 2013 Camaro and Ryan was able to get me in and out! The staff was polite, Ryan was informative and helpful, and the waiting area was clean and quiet. I was just passing through NC, but if I'm in the area again and need auto work, I will definitely be returning to this shop!!

My experience with Affordable Transmission was EXCELLENT!!I can t say enough about this business.Todd, my wife and me had several problems with our vehicle over months and months, moving to California and leaving our car in Raleigh NC . But this gentleman went TOTALLY OVER AND BEYOND the repairs for my wife s vintage 1989 Mazda Mx 6, 2.2 liter Turbo. Todd restored transmission AND motor at an affordable price.This car runs damn near like a brand new car. I d rather drive this car than my 2016 Camaro. We had our car shipped here to Los Angeles, Ca and our Febe is running so smooth.Thank you Todd for the great service that you and your staff showed my wife and me.I would truly suggest and recommend any and everyone to support this automotive repair business.

This is the best auto shop I have ever been to. The mechanics and the receptionist are very professional. They went out their way to get the parts and service my car as needed in a timely manner. Even went as far as coming in on their off day to complete the job. I definitely would recommend Affordable Transmission shop to everyone.

This place is extremely unprofessional and lies. We took our car there to do a transmission fix. They worked on the car in a somewhat timely manner and we were happy. Weeks later, the check engine light came on. We took it back and they assured us they knew how to fix the problem. The car sat on their lot for a week. No one looked at it so we took it home. We dropped that car off at least 2 or 3 more times based on their promise. Nothing happened. Each time we went there, money was spent on an Uber to get home. A week or two later, we were promised the car would be looked at. We took it there early morning and waited in the area this time. Towards close of business, they tell us it hasn't been looked at. We wasted a day on this. No apology, no explanation, and no sense of urgency. Just several lies. I have NEVER experienced this level of unprofessional behavior and disrespect from a mechanic shop. Never again.

Affordable Transmission was professional from beginning to the very end of our transmission service. Ryan examined our vehicle, gave us a free diagnostic; telling us exactly what they were going to do and gave us a quote. There are a few excellent and honest small businesses and this is one of them. Most important, they are a family owned business. No dragging of their feet. They kept in contact with us about the status of the repair. They are our go-to service and will be in the future. I don t do a lot of referrals, but this is truly an exception. We highly recommend them for your transmission service. Service: Transmission

I waited 6 months to post a review to confirm or deny this business's work. They rebuilt my transmission what was roasted back in March this year. to date it has performed flawlessly. They were professional and very reasonable compared to other estimates I received. In today's society it's pleasing to find an HONEST auto tech. They were honest and reasonable. These guys work very hard. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.Service: Transmission

Affordable is really nice, professional and very helpful. I brought my 2005 Honda Pilot originally in for a driver light flashing. They quickly diagnose the issue and were able to repair it the following week. Then they found some additional issues that they shared with me. They showed me on my vehicle that my my motor mounts and transmission mount were broken, as well as some other issues. They ordered the parts and were able to fix it in three days. They even worked past 6 o clock closing time to get it done. The price was also great compared to other shops. I highly recommend them.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Excellent experience Looked my car over thoroughly and went over the bill in detail and explained everything to me. I feel there is definitely loyalty to the customer and you don t find that much anymore. Very reasonable price! They even called me a few days later and asked how my car was running. And of course no problems!! What repair shop does that? I have definitely found my go to mechanic going forward!! I want to thank Missy, David and Chuck for the EXCELLENT service!! Way to go guys

They are very nice and helpful. They rebuilt the transmission for my 2003 Honda Accord back in November and they did a great job and it was a good price. When I thought an issue with my transmission recently they told me to bring it right back in because they stand by their work. Luckily my transmission was fine. Let me tell you that I have always done most all my own repairs ,95% of the time myself and our son can tackle a vehicle repair. We just decided to take our truck in to get the transmission leak repaired by a pro. Plus I'm tired of laying on the garage floor. SO we took it to Affordable Trans. to have them repair it. The NEW owners as of 4-1-21 are the very best! PERIOD. The staff is knowledgeable, and VERY friendly. We observed how they handle other customers while we waited for our truck repair and they treat customers as valuable assets to their business. I have 100% confidence in taking my vehicles back there anytime. Thanks to Missy, Chuck, Dave, Dave, Barry and the guys we didn't catch their names. You are GREAT!!!!!!Service: Transmission

Missy and Chuck were fantastic. They had more car ready even though they were very busy. Missy kept in contact with me the entire time and worked with me on the payment. I recommend this shop to anyone with any needs of auto repair. They completely rebuilt my transmission and its running smoother then when I bought the car. This is a real review, they had my car ready in less than a week. My transmission came with a warranty and I will continue to go to them for my car shop needs!Service: Transmission

I needed a total clutch replacement in my Subaru Impreza. Todd and Liz towed my vehicle over from Southern States Subaru for free and offered me a much more affordable price for the job. The job was completed very promptly. Customer service was was excellent. Todd and Liz were very patient and thorough with all my inquiries. I was told to bring my vehicle back in 25-30 days just for a check up to make sure everything is running how it should. I recommend taking your vehicle here for affordable, timely, honest work. Worked on my clutch for my car. Was diagnosed free of charge and was told how much everything would cost before anything was ever started. The turnaround time wasn't too long been that there was a holiday during that week got my car back in a week. Picked it up and it ran better than it did before when I first purchased the vehicle. When I got it back Had a problem with the AC and they took it right in and fixed it immediately for me free of charge. Did great work would recommend

Avoid this company at all costs. They kept our car for two months trying to diagnose the issue with it. They never called us to inform us what was going on with our vehicle. My wife had to call them to get any information. They re rude and don t care that you are without a vehicle. Be prepared to get cut off when you re trying to talk. The owner will talk about his health history to try to justify that his employees are awful. The former receptionist told my wife and I that she forged my wife s signature to push some paperwork through. These people also admitted that they did some extra work without our permission. They replaced some parts and never told us nor authorized it through us. These are some of North Carolina s worst people. Do not use them. They replace parts just to make money. Another transmission shop said that they didn t need to replace everything they replaced. Stay away from this company. Do not believe the positive reviews about these crooked liars. Our car started having the same exact problem that they fixed just days after getting it back. Awful service and company.

Very professional and great customer service. My water line had to be replaced and they gave me an excellent price for the service. They were quick in repairing my vehicle. Everyone was very kind and had great mannerisms. Most importantly, they made sure I understood what was being done to my vehicle and that I felt comfortable every step of the way. I would recommend this place to all.

Amazing staff, worked with me to make sure what I wanted done was done. Took my Ford Focus up there to get the transmission diagnosed. After being diagnosed it was decided it the transmission needed to be rebuilt. Guy did it for cheap, and quickly. Very friendly staff and I very much enjoyed the conversation we had when I picked up my car. Great job.

I checked out several businesses before choosing Affordable Transmission which got good reviews from friends as well. I went in for what I thought was a transmission issue and Todd checked the car a few times and decided it was a wheel bearing issue. Todd was very honest and said he would not touch the transmission until he ruled out other issues. He was right and he also saw my back brakes were bad. What could have been a very expensive repair cost me half as much due to Todd and his team checking out possibilities instead of just doing what I had asked about. Great customer services is more than a smile. When the company demonstrates how they care about their customers-that's a win every time.Service: Brakes

DON'T GO UNLESS YOUR PLAN IS TO BE ROBBED. My transmission was giving me some problems, so I did some research online that said you should change the filter. I talked with them and specifically ask them to change my filter, and they said they would look at it. Waited a couple days and called, and guess what, he wants to rebuild my whole transmission and it starts at $1500. So I basically towed my car back home, watched some Youtube, waited for my schedule to be free, and had some help to change the filter myself. It only ended up costing me a day and under $100 for the filter and transmission fluid.
