I highly recommend 2M. They did not, in any way, ask for a review which was also nice. After bouncing around from shop to shop trying to find competent and trustworthy auto repair I came across these guys. I needed several things done to my older model 4Runner and because parts are hard to find, few places are willing and able to do the work. 2M never flinched and did what appears to be amazing work after the previous shop failed to fix a problem yet charged me a pretty penny. They went above and beyond the typical service I ve experienced in the past. I really appreciate them and am hopeful I ve found a long term shop for my baby.

Pat is one of the best. Skilled in his trade and a genuinely good person. I'll never take my cars anywhere else. Hard to find such honest and kindhearted service these days.

I ve been taking my cars there over 20 years. They are always helpful & they do a great job taking care of my car. Best part is, as a woman, I ve never felt talked down to or taken advantage of. I gave my neighbor a ride to 2M. Didn't make the connection, but during the conversation, all of the dots connected. I knew this garage through an aquantince who recently passed away. These brothers have an incredible reputation. Trust them. These are gentlemen we all want to know.

We have been bringing our cars to 2M for 20 years and they are absolutely the best. We drive 30+ minutes every time because we trust them 100%. They are honest and kind and so helpful. They will tell us if the repair is necessary now, can wait a couple of weeks/months, or is just something to watch. I have called them brokenDown on side of the road and to ask for advice about all kinds of car stuff. I know nothing about cars but they always listen patiently to me to help me best explain the problem I'm having so they can fix it. They just helped us with an issue we were having with our son's truck and I couldn't appreciate them more.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto tire replacement, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I've been a 2M customer since they started business. I knew Pat and Steve (now retired) from their previous shop and they have earned my loyalty over the years. Pat and Kevin are honest, they are knowledgeable, and they do quality work. We have taken all of our cars to them over the past 20 years and we have never been disappointed. We will always purchase Japanese cars so that 2M will be our mechanics. I would give them 10 stars, but I can only give 5.

2M was recommended to me by a friend several years ago. I could not be any more satisfied with the service, professionalism and value that I receive from 2M. A few years ago I had an AC problem on my older Honda CRV and the dealer wanted to replace the entire system at a cost of about $2,500. Pat was able to fix the issue for about a 1/3 of that cost. The AC has been running great ever since. More recently, my mother had an issue with her car and Pat again came to the rescue. I find it incredibly valuable to have a local mechanic that I can actually speak to and have a real conversation about issues with my vehicles. Awesome experience. I brought my Mazda in for break pads and oil change. I was given thorough information through and after process. I was not sold anything that I did not need. My tires were rotated at no charge. I have read many reviews and so glad that I came here upon recommendations. I would highly recommend to bring your car here. The prices are fair and over all trust worthy. I will be bringing my car back.

Alternator went out on our RAV4 right as we were leaving on a trip. Called 2M and Pat was amazing! He got us in right away, confirmed what needed to be done and fixed it. He proactively provided updates throughout the day and had our car finished earlier than anticipated. Pat truely partner's with his clients! Highly recommend taking your vehicle for any service needed!

We took our cars to Steve and Pat at MPG and followed them to 2M. I have always appreciated their willingness to explain what is wrong, how we can nurse the car along and how to know when it is time to get it fixed. Yesterday they replaced an axle at no charge because it was a faulty part that started making a clunking sound a few months after they installed it. These guys are honest, friendly and extremely knowledgeable mechanics -- can't ask for anything more.

I have been taking my cars to Steve and Pat for several years now, after a recommendation from an acquaintance. I would never take my car anywhere else! Steve is always honest and straightforward with me about issues with my vehicle, recommends the best option, and is so easy to work with. Even if my problems are outside his wheelhouse, he tells me exactly where to take it to get the best specialized repairs. I don't think you will find more honest or trustworthy gentlemen in this industry than them. When I purchased my last vehicle, I even purchased a specific make and model because I knew it was one of the ones they specialize in repairing. I recommend 2M to anyone I meet looking to get their car serviced in any way. You won't find a better place in Raleigh!

These guys have been fantastic - we have been going to them for years. We tend to buy used Toyotas and drive them until there ain t no drive left in them. It s not unusual for us to keep a vehicle for 300K miles. To do that, you need a good mechanic, and these guys are excellent.

I have been going to 2M for about 8 years now. They have ALWAYS treated me right. Whether I am getting an oil change or having electrical work done, they explain everything they plan to do beforehand and will talk through all the repairs afterwards. As a woman, I think it is extremely important to feel respected by your mechanic. After getting new tires from them, I ended up getting a screw in not one, but two of my tires about 2-3 weeks afterwards. They patched both up for free. It's hard to find folks with integrity these days, and these guys got it in the tons. I would recommended them to anyone.

GREAT PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH!I have been taking my wife's Lexus (a 1997 ES 300, then a 2004 ES330, both bought used) to 2M Autoworks for about ten years. Over that span of years and service calls, we could not be happier! In fact, I bought the 2004 ES330 partly because of the terrific service and support I got from Steve and Pat at 2M, and partly because it was a Lexus (great cars).I have always found them to be upfront, honest, very knowledgeable and fair in every dealing I've had with them. Never once have I had the feeling that they wanted to push some service on me, but instead they educated me as to what was going on and what to expect in the future with the vehicle. Plus, they will work hard to accommodate you in any way possible when necessary.Consequently, because of their dedication to doing the job right and at a fair price, I have always recommended them to anyone I know (or meet) that has a vehicle from a manufacturer that 2M Autoworks services. We've hired 2M twice to work on our van. The first time they did done pretty major work, and the van has been running great for years after that. We recently went back when the heater didn't work, and they could have told me anything. I wouldn't have known any different, paid a small fortune, and gone on with my life. Instead, they noticed it was a small flap that just got stuck. They ubstuck it, charged a minimum fee and saved me a ton of headache and cash. I am definitely going back here with any car problem I can't handle. Thanks 2M!

I was referred to Pat/Steve before 2M and have been using them ever since. They are professional, trust worthy and prices are fair. They do an excellent job communicating issues to you and let you know your options. They also will let you know if if something needs replacing now or wait until later.

Have used Pat & Steve over 15 years, going back to their time at another shop. These guys are by far the most honest, dependable and thorough mechanics I've ever encountered. When I was considering a new car I eliminated Benz and BMW from consideration because I wanted car these guys could service.

The team always gives me clear description of my issue and lets me know what is needed immediately and what can wait. Several friends of mine recommended 2M as a great independent mechanic for Asian brand cars. We took our 2003 Honda Pilot to them and they not only fixed the issue, (which Leith Honda did not fix) but they explained the problem in easy to understand terms. When I went shopping for another car, I decided to have them do a "Pre-purchase inspection" for which they charge a nominal fee of $95. 2M spared me from five bad cars that would have been costly and possibly dangerous(some of the cars had concealed damage and missing parts). The result was I bought a nice Toyota Matrix in the price range I was looking and I am very happy with the car. For anyone who wants low cost of ownership, and you want to run your fine asian car for a long time, go to 2M you'll be glad you did. One other thing, they use only genuine manufacturer's replacement parts.

I have been going to Steve and Pat even before 2 M existed and I completed trust them to take care of my vehicles. They are not just about seliing you a part to make money, they have integrity and will tell you the truth. I would not go anywhere else to service my vehicles.

Steve was very straightforward and honest about what needed to be repaired. He showed me the part that was at issue, which was great so I could see the issue that was causing the issue on my vehicle. Plan to take my vehicles there for work in the future.
