I enthusiastically recommend Maxwell s Garage for your auto repair needs. They are professional, knowledgeable and extremely fair price wise. I m from out of town and Matt was able to get me in promptly and resolved my break issues quickly and at a very reasonable price. Makes me secure knowing the long drive back to Chicago will not involve any break issues. Everyone local to Raeford is fortunate to have such a high quality repair facility nearby.

Awesome local shop! Squeezed me in same day for a brake job and than got me in and out and in the best shape in no time! Will definitely be going back for all my vehicles maintenence and repair needs!

Anytime I need service done to my car Maxwell is always my first option. An they always find the most efficient way to get the job done. What I like most is that they call you to verify what they are doing. Before just fixing whatever leaving you with a huge unnecessary unwanted bill.

I've used this mechanic for several years on both of my vehicles. Until the latest incident I couldn't have been happier. I scheduled an appointment to drop my work van off Tuesday morning at 10 am for a brake service. As any self employed person knows taking your only work vehicle out of service for a full day is costly. Not only did they not perform any work on my vehicle through the day they also never communicated that they planned to leave my van overnight at their shop outside. My entire livelihood is in that van. I retrieved the van with my spare key. When I retrieved my key the next morning and told them I wouldn't be bringing my vehicle back because of nothing being done even though I had an appointment I was told well you're not the only customer that didn't get their vehicle worked on. This business may not care but they lost a customer today that used to brag on their work and affordable prices.

Fixed my heat now defrost does not work and can't direct heat to my feet blows directly at my face or not at all.

Maxwell s Garage did a phenomenal job offering a timely and professional service. They called and asked clarifying questions while diagnosing our car s problem. They were able to stick their estimated completion timeline and were fairly priced. This garage gives small businesses a good name. We would recommend for your car s needs. I was replacing the struts on my 2013 silverado when the spring compressor I was using exploded. I'm new to the area so I called the local O'Reilly autoparts to see if they knew of a local shop that could get it done same day. Suggested Maxwells Garage and man am I glad I went to them. Not only did they do it same day, but had parts back to me assembled after a few hours. Not just fast, but also very reasonably priced as well. Thank you again for the amazing service and fast turn around.

Maxwells took great care of me on short notice. I was on the road and needed a quick brake job. They were very helpful in making the repairs and keeping me on schedule. I highly recommend them!

The gentlemen who helped my son and I were amazing! They quoted us a price for a tow that was so much less than I was nervously expecting. They arrived quickly and had my car loaded up in no time. I can't thank them enough for all of the help they gave us. They will be my go to for everything car related from now on.

I will not bring my car back to this garage again they first don t communicate with you after having the car all day. I made the appointment 2 weeks ago for the morning because they were booked out I had to call them 30 min prior to them closing to get the same answer I got from autozone I was first told the catalytic converter was fine then after I explain what was been replaced them I got another story that the converter is not. The car has two converters and they could not tell me which one it was. Second I was quoted 45 dollars for the check engine light diagnostic when I paid for it they charge me 55 dollars for a electrician and up charge me to 61 dollars for using my card totally different then what I was quoted when I made the appointment. Then I was told someone or the electrician would call me back to try to give me some more information never received a call after paying for this. When I ask about them not communicating and have a scheduled appointment I was told it s like a doctors office appointment dose to matter. So I paid them to get the same answer I would from autozone for free back to square 1 then when I brought this up they claim this was their first time looking at my car.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Alex not only towed my disabled vehicle in, he and Charlie helped me get it to another shop for more repairs, even driving my rental car to the new shop for me. Their level of customer service is rare today, and I appreciate them very much. Highly recommended.

Everyone at this shop is extremely friendly! They fixed two of my door handles today, and got it done super fast! They also charged me less, than any other shop wanted to.

Do not waste your time. I bought the parts and I still paid $250 for nothing. I took my vehicle there to have my clutch replaced and couple of days later it started making a noise again. I took it back to the owner and he stated that "he would make it right because the mechanic that worked on my car is no longer there because of returned work that wasn't done right the first time". Months went by of trying to schedule a time to get my car in there, but something would always come up and it got pushed to next week. So finally, after almost a years' time, he finally gets my car in there to replace the clutch. The new clutch, that I bought once again, works great but then he sends me a bill for $294. If this is making it right, then something is really wrong. Please stay away.

This shop charges extremely high fees for towing and storage. $30 a night for storage is way outside of the normal fee. $210 for a tow is outrageous in this area. Their front desk do not understand anything about how to handle customers. The owner/tower is completely unavailable at all times and didn't return 3 calls. I believe they intentionally close early so you can't pick up your car. What mechanic closes at 5pm? Do not use this shop for towing.

service with a smile. Done right the first time and always cheaper than the Dealership. but still gives quality work that rivals any dealer always. keep up the good work. ( always support local Businesses)

Very nice guy but they had my car for a week with zero communication unless we called them only to tell me they were gonna have to send it elsewhere (someone they know) to get checked out. Ok, no problem. This next place they gave it to apparently has no shop, possibly worked on in his backyard, lord only knows what happened. Said he would need extra time because the valve body was faulty. Again, no problem. So we wait til the next Monday for the 2nd valve body to come in, no sure it was even fixed properly, but he brought my car back to Maxwells for me to pick up. This is all very strange. Zero communication. Almost 1K later I thought my car was fixed, drove it home and parked it. Very next morning I was heading out and noticed my car is not driving right. This car was not programmed properly.I was told by another shop they didn t fill the fluid properly nor did they do a re program properly. It s a mess. People if you have higher end cars, please do not bring them here or to Mike Scaggs Nelli in Raeford!!Very disappointed as I was referred to the shop by a friend who gets her oil change done here. Well that s just it. Big difference between a simple oil change and a transmission issue. Was hoping to have a better experience. I will let all my car people and friends to stay away. What a nightmare!!! :(

I would use them again and again had a big job took my vehicle to two other places and was giving estimates that would cost a arm and a leg went to Maxwell's garage and the job was done for hundreds less and done properly. Thank-you Maxwell's garage.

The people there are so nice. They will always try to take care of you and get you in and out as soon as possible! Definitely recommend taking your car here if you ever have problems!
