Our family has been taken excellent care of at Soundside Automotive. The customer service is great. Very friendly. I was able to make an appointment easily and when I arrived, I didn't have to wait very long. My husband trusts them and I always our cars there for service.Recently I had a flat tire. I took my car to them without an appointment and they still fixed it. Thank you

The people at Soundside Automotive are very professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. My wait time there is short and comfortable. I have always had great service with my old car and now with my new car. The best part is they explain everything.

They have gone downhill a little since Tony left. Just not the same personalized service and attention to detail.... but still better than pretty much anywhere on the beach. 3.5 stars because really ended up losing some trust in them during my last experience there.

If you're looking for a mechanic with integrity, that will do what's best for you and your car, I cannot recommend Soundside Auto in Harbinger enough. Brandon went above and beyond, and was super helpful. I am very grateful, and I will definitely be bringing all my cars to them in the future!

Had a leak in a tire, they found it fast, when other tire shops didn't even try. Anyway, I will be going to soundside from now on for my auto needs.

No problems so far, my only complaint is my seat and mirrors were adjusted during a service that didn't require them to be. Will use then again in the future, review will be updated accordingly.

Brought my car to Dealership to fix failing A/C unit. They told me I needed a new Compressor. Cost me $1200 and it failed again months later. Returned to Dealership and they said I now need a new Core for $2500. Told them I'll get a 2nd opinion. Took it to Soundside and after vacating the Freon and refilling it, and tweaking it with a little oil, A/C works like new. Tech Brandon spent 20 minutes explaining to me how the system works and what to look for under the hood if it showed signs of failing again. Thanks Brandon for saving me $2400 from an incompetent Dealership. Highly recommend Soundside Auto!

So fast! Loved the price! John was professional and yet so comfortable to be around- it was personal ! Best part is I found out that my favorite fella from my previous oil change spot was now at sound side! LOVE Brandon! Bummed that alignment machine broke the night before- but besides that, john and Brandon are my go to guys now!Service: Oil change

Made an appointment for my jeep liberty for a noise in the front end and a oil change. They took the vehicle on time found the problem and repaired it. I was very surprised of the price of the repair it would have been three times the cost a a dealership. Very friendly staff to work with. Will do more service with them. I started using Soundside about 10 years back. Their competence and customer relations are the best I have encountered ( I am 79 years old). John and his team are all focused on being the best. Our family members who live locally all use Soundside after warranties expire. Whether its regular maintenance, repairs, or tires; they are the site to trust when you are evaluating options.

There is a reason Soundside Automotive has been in business for 20 years. They are experienced, professional and courteous. I know that my car is in good hands with John and his staff. I like that I can make appointments on-line and love the My Garage feature that keeps track of my services. Soundside has earned my trust and confidence with their integrity, reliability and hard work. Go there one time and you ll never go anywhere else.

We broke down a mile from the shop, had it towed there, and Brandon had the alternator replaced in 24 hours. As tourists with plans to leave town the following day we greatly appreciated their expediency.

I had a good experience with Soundside. They were courteous, professional, and more importantly efficient with their service. I brought in a BMW because it wouldn't stay running. John Wells was the mechanic working on it, and it runs great now. So, job well done at Soundside and I'm happy.

We own a Buick Enclave that had a non working ac. We had received a quote of $2100.00 to repair last year from another auto place. Feeling this was too expensive, we opted to go without ac. Then this summer, we tried Soundside. Auto. To the tune of $170.00 , we now have a great working ac!!! Kudos to Soundside Autofor your service and HONESTY. Love our Enclave. Especially with AC!! Thank you, Thank you!

really nice people, prompt and they work pretty quickly, affordable. The owner said he had been there 20+ years. He is doing it right if he has been there that long! I will definitely go back for inspections and other maintenance.

This is a great place to take your cars and trucks for service and repairs. John, the owner, is a very professional guy who will tell you what needs to be done and what doesn t. I moved to this area recently and found out that a number of very successful local businesses get their fleet and personal vehicles serviced at Soundside Automotive. Now I understand why. Give Soundside Automotive a try next time your car or truck needs service, and you ll see what I mean.

Highly recommend this business. We are on vacation from out of state. Our car was making terrible noise. We had no appointment. He was short staffed this week with lots of work to complete. He stopped to put our car up on a lift and spent time looking for the issue. Wonderful person and business.

Ran into an issue with my car on the way back from OBX. John and John managed to fix it extremely quick. They were very helpful and did a great job explaining the problems with my car. I would definitely recommend going to them if you are having any car issues.

I'm an avid "do it yourselfer" when it comes to my vehicles but with a growing family it's hard to find the time to do the mechanic work myself. I went to Soundside Automotive because a friend told me "They are good people. They'll take care of you." I'm glad that I listened. Darlene is always courteous and always willing to go find the mechanic when I want more info. John, there are two, gets the parts I need fast so that I don't have to leave my vehicles there for days and John, the mechanic, answers my questions and knows his stuff - fixed right first time.

Soundside Automotive literally saved our vacation. When our check engine light came on and our van would barely start, our first instinct was to take it to a Toyota dealer. However, since the closest one was over 40 miles away, we researched a reputable auto repair location and took a chance with Soundside. They were nothing short of phenomenal. They quickly diagnosed the problem with our van, fixed it in a timely manner, charged a fair price, and even took pictures of work that had been performed incorrectly by our Toyota dealer back home which lead to our problems. They never pressured us, rushed us, and they took the time to answer all of our questions. Thank you!

Since My Wife and I moved to NC in 2007, we have used Soundside Automotive for both of our cars. The service has always been thorough, friendly, and as reasonably priced as any on the Outer Banks.
