The owner here showed compassion and responsiveness. I'm from out of town and was trying desperately to get someone, anyone to help tow us out of the sand. I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised that they responded back taking the time to wish us well on our endeavor even though they were closed and weren't authorized to send services. The owner still took the time to respond back with kindness and encouragement. Shows that they have heart and really do care! Even though I wasn't a customer!! Good to know there's still kind hearted people in the world

Drove almost an hour off the island to this shop on my last day of vacation as my Jeep was acting up, I wanted to ensure that my long journey home was going to be safe.....loud constant ticking noise was coming from underneath. The mechanic took time out of his busy day, right before close on a Friday before the holiday I might add, to go over my Jeep and address my concerns. Giving me peace of mind for the long haul home made me feel so much better and I can't express how thankful I was that he went above and beyond to do so. Friendly staff, clean shop, and I highly recommend whether you are a local to the area or here visiting.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! Our family traveled 5� hours from Maryland with no AC. When we got here the temperatures wer 90- 100. This place was the first place I called. Went in and made an appointment for the next day at 10:30. 5 different places told me they had no openings. This place took our vehicle and went right to work ! Got our AC back up and running in no time less then 2 hrs. Good friendly people, waiting area is very nice , beautiful aquariums. I didn't even have time to get my coffee yet for the day, didn't need to worry though they had coffee there. Thank you very much. Just got an alignment done but they got me in at 8 am instead of 1 pm and had one of the best prices for the alignment, cant thank them enough especially hearing how short hand they are.

This place and the people who run it are amazing! Jean, Gloria, Raymond, and Jonathan s actions today were truly heroic. Jean risked his own safety by pulling off the side of the road when he saw us stranded with 2 blown tires not far from his shop! He offered sound advice on what to do and then had Gloria come pick me and my kids up and drive us to his shop while he and my husband slowly drove the disabled vehicle back to his shop for repairs. The team at his shop were very professional and had the blown tires replaced and the car back on the road within an hour. We are forever grateful for their kindness and would highly recommend anyone looking for an honest, capable, efficient auto repair shop near the outer banks to look no further.Service: Tires

I suggest avoiding this business like the plague. I was blamed and charged for their negligence. What do you do when your vehicle is held hostage, and the only way out is to pay?

While vacationing in the Outer Banks, I had a small fender bender. I called Beach Ready and spoke with Raymond. He told me that on my return trip home, I should stop by, which I did. He made some temporary repairs, within one hour of my arrival, which made it possible for me to drive safely home. Very friendly and responsive! Highly recommended.

Worst repair experience of my life! while replacing my starter they broke the air pump and glued it back together (see photo) / they made no mention of their rig job to me. Naturally the glue didn't hold and I had 4 warning lights going for my entire 8 hour drive back to Charlotte. The owner "Jean" took responsibility for it but has never reimbursed me for the $1,400 my Charlotte shop charged me to repair Beach Ready's damage and their customer service person "Gloria" also promised to pay me - nothing - so Beware!

I highly recommend this business. Raymond was very curtious, and well mannered. The waiting room and bathroom were very clean, there was coffee and quiet music playing. Best of All our van was fixed in a timely manner and we didn't feel taken advantage of or ripped off. We will definitely come here again. Highly recommend.

BRAR kept me from being stranded TWO times on my Beach vacation! Incredibly friendly staff both in person and over the phone. Nobody wants to have car troubles out of town, but if you do, these folks will get you back on the road likety-split. Thanks!

My husband and I arrived in Corolla for a week long vacation. The day after arriving we came out to a flat tire. We noticed there was something stuck in the tire. We had to call roadside assistance but all they were able to do was put on our spare tire. We could not drive back to Delaware with a spare so we went in search of a repair place. We came upon Beach Ready Auto Repair. They were so helpful and repaired our tire and replaced it in a matter of about 15 minutes. They stayed past there closing time to assist. Took my Porsche Cayenne in to have what appeared to be a leak in the radiator. Raymond the Service Manager was very communicative, and they were able to look at my car within a few hours and got everything taken care of. Will definitely reccomend to friends and I will return. I want to thank everyone at Beach Ready Auto Repair! I was there for vacation after just having my car serviced before my trip and had an issue with the tempature housing and overheating. This was the only shop with available appointments after calling around for an hour. Great service, happy people, and wonderful work, they fixed my car (to great condition, drove almost 1,000 miles after the fix was completed) all in the same day. I highly recommend this buissness to anyone and if I ever need anything more again in OBX, this will be the first place I go hands down!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

My mini van had an odor of gas after a long drive down to the Outer Banks. I looked on-line for an auto repair shop and picked Beach Ready Auto based on the reviews. I am so happy that we chose Beach Ready Auto. The place was very clean, professional and friendly. They understood that we needed the car fixed quickly. Unfortunately for us we needed a part that would take 2 days to get. I tried renting a car but none were available. The owner who couldn't be more pleasant, friendly, and accommodating GAVE us his car to use for the 2 days. The car was fixed on schedule and we were very pleased with the work. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a good reputable mechanic. If Jasmine the dog is there, make sure you say hi. Thanks again to Beach Ready Auto.

If I could give a negative star I would. This is the least experience shop for diesel repair. Find another place who actually know how to repair a diesel. I was charged for services that didn t fix the issue. Vacationing in OBX and having your vehicle breakdown is a major stressor - you want to find a shop that will be honest and experience. I didn t find that here. They said the vehicle can t be driven home and they will fix it - well they didn t fix the problem and we drove the truck home without the repair needed. This company is fluff. They don t have the expertise to repair a diesel.

Beach Ready Auto is the best auto repair shop EVER. Not only are the people amazing the quality of the work is off the charts. The new Owner has been with the shop since the beginning and the pride he has always shown in his work carries over to the shop. Amazing mechanics!! who will take the time to explain to you what is actually wrong with your vehicle and show you too. The only place I have brought my car and not left feeling as though I was getting cheated somehow. The way they differentiate what is a required repair and what is a reccommended repair really goes a long way to show their clients that they care not only about their pockets but ours as well. Great pricing and overall incredible service. Super happy with Beach Ready I actually save my repairs for my vacation because I haven't found a place in NYC that comes even close to Jean and the crew at Beach Ready. Thanks you guys keep up the good work.

I highly recommend Beach Ready Auto Repair! I called a few repair shops for estimates. I couldn't get an appointment for more than a week. When I called Beach Ready, they worked me into their schedule and had my car fixed in two days! They are friendly, reasonably-priced and very knowledgeable. I am very grateful that they got my car back on the road so quickly and that they took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on with my car.

I was in a hurry to get an oil change. They took great care of me and made sure I made it to my next appointment on time. The office and waiting room were clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and had great customer service. They provide a variety of services and I'll definitely use them again. I was more than satisfied with the price.

I recently had my front windshield replaced at the car dealership. Several days passed before I realized that the dealer's mechanic did not properly adjust the wiper blades. One blade was actually hitting the hood. I took the car to Beach Ready Auto where the mechanic made a quick adjustment. It works perfectly and there was no charge. We'll definitely be coming back.

Our family van had a misfire in one of the cylinders while on vacation and Beach Ready Auto Repair had it fixed and on the road within an hour of the service appointment.After doing some research, I called and talked with Jamie and we had the car scheduled for first thing the next morning. I worked with the owner, Jean, and had the issues diagnosed and taken care of within the hour.I met most of their team, talked with everyone about the area, got a few suggestions on where to eat and even got a freshly made chocolate chip cookie before leaving.I was very thankful to get everything handled fair and quickly. Jean is very transparent about what work needs done and what doesn't. I'd have no issue recommended these folks to anyone needing help near OBX and wish the entire team the best.

Amazing service! Found out mice had chewed wires in my car causing the knock sensor to go out multiple times. Had my car running brand new in no time. After driving off road while vacationing in Corolla with our CRV our dash board lit up like a Christmas tree. After a quick online search we found Beach Ready Auto and also called AAA which recommended them as well for the area. We were so impressed with the clean professional atmosphere of the waiting area and the friendly employees. After we dropped our car, communications were very good as to its progress of repair. Employees/manager were WONDERFUL in supporting us after some pretty bad news about the car. Their guidance was priceless. They were timely, accommodating and patient on a late Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend. Thanks guys!

Initially I took my Jeep to another local business who told me I needed new engine, $5000+ repair. I DID NOT! Raymond and Beach Ready Auto found the real problem and repaired the Jeep. Had engine troubles last week while in Corolla on vacation. I searched for local places and saw the positive reviews for Beach Ready Auto and decided to have my car towed there. The staff was friendly, proffessional and extremely helpful. The repair costs were reasonable and my car was ready the same day. Can't thank them enough!

On Friday 9th of August while in Kitty Hawk, my Range Rover decided to spoil my vacation. A call to Range Rover revealed that no dealers existed within hours of town. Road service recommended Beach Ready Auto. I called. They were great, said they would see me immediately. I limped to their shop envisioning hours of delay and big piles of money (mine) running away from me. Man, was I wrong! Not only did they jump all over my truck but worked their magic and actually were able to fix my problem. Nick, Jean and the other guys actually made me feel important! They actually do care. I wish I had Beach Ready in my home state and not the Range Rover Dealer. I am still in shock... pleasantly so!!Larry Stanley from New Jersey.

Our car broke down while we were on vacation (cv axles broke) and after a quick google search and making a few phone calls to other garages I settled on this shop because they said they could repair the car by the next day and they had a loaner (the only small shop with a loaner on the beach they said). I was also encouraged by the positive ratings on google. We were not disappointed. They repaired the car by the end of the next day, communicated well and charged a very fair price (probably less than I would have paid at home). Definitely go to this shop if you have problems with your car in the Nags Head, Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills area,

Amazing !!! These guys are very smart and incredibly honest. They also repair your vehicle with exactly what is wrong AND give you a nationwide warranty on most things repaired. This is the place to go if you have any car/truck troubles while on vacation in the outer banks. Also big thanks to Donuts on a Stick (Duck, NC) / David Williams for sending us to them. We are super grateful.

Only place in OBX that is not a dealer and takes extended service plans/warranties. Able to squeeze me in tomorrow right before my warranty runs out in a few hundred miles. Will update after service
