Took a two-year-old boats and motor for general maintenance before the season. After $750, I took the boat to the water and it wouldn t even start. Boat mechanic in the area laughed when he saw the engine that John s boat worked on because all linkage, throttle, gear, shifter, and even the gas line was 100% disconnected. Called John s boat and he could not even form a sentence. He just said umm and ahhh and then said that he didn t know .. then hung up the phone with zero solutions. Great job being a problem solver. Recorded the conversation and it was literally agonizing listening to them on the phone.

Johnny has taken care of my boat needs for as long as I can remember. He is knowledgeable, reasonable, fast and Is always a fun guy to be around. I actually plan to call him Monday about winterizing my inboard and I need him to check over a bass boat my son and I just purchased. Honestly, never even thought about going anywhere else...

I took my boat to Johns Boats to have him repair it, my boat would not run on plane I told Johns Boat this is what was happening, so they change plugs charge me $150 tell me the boat was ready I went and picked it up put it onThe water it still would not run on plane called him back told them all it was doing took the boat back a second time they worked on it some more tell me it was ready told me they had put it on the water and tested it and it ran great I went back pick the boat up again they charge me another $150 I put it on the water worst running engine on it ever used it would not start it would not stay running still would not run on plane, I called him back Took it back to them again a third time this is over a 2 1/2 to 3 month process they roundabouts and more tried to work on it told me they could not fix it all I wanted to do was sell me a new engine, I asked for a refund and they would notGive me a refund my boat still will not run still not start good So I m out $300 and my boat runs worse now than it ever did I would not recommend Johns Boats for anything

The guys where very helpful in getting me the parts I need to fix my boat motor. Will do business with them again for sure.
