Update 11/3: Subaru folks and the tint world both offered to help me sort all this out. I'll be getting the glass replaced next week. Good outcomes!Revised review:I have a great rapport with Rebecca, one of the managers at this location, which was a positive aspect of my experience. However, the process of buying my brand new Forester in September '23 had its challenges. One of the first salesperson I worked with was slow and often unresponsive to my texts and emails.The second sales associate was very nice guy, however It took a considerable 3 hours for me to finally leave the dealership with the car, as the sales associate seemed quite busy and somewhat disorganized. I also had a wedding to get to and nearly missed.Around a week after acquiring the car, I took it to Tint World on South Blvd for PPF, Window Tint, and ceramic coating, despite not having driven the car during the initial week it was parked in my driveway. To my surprise, Tint World discovered a vertical cut in the back quarter glass (attached a picture). The origin of this cut remains unclear, with the dealership and Tint World pointing fingers at each other. The cut is relatively inconspicuous, making it challenging to ascertain its source. Given that no work was being conducted on that back quarter glass, it seems plausible that it occurred during transit to the dealership.Furthermore, Tint World informed me that they had encountered a similar issue with another Forester that came in for work recently, showing me photographic evidence.This situation has left me quite frustrated and has given me reservations about buying another Subaru in the future. I anticipate having to cover the cost of replacing this window out of my own pocket.I would advise anyone purchasing a car from Subaru to conduct a thorough inspection before leaving the lot to avoid similar unexpected issues.

I love taking my car to Subaru South Charlotte. They are super nice and always explain everything, some stuff is pricey but I feel like they take really good care of the car and customer and they never try to over sell me, they are honest which I really appreciate. I also love the fact that they give you a loaner car when they service your car. Very convenient. And their new location is amazing!!

Look I wanted to love this place but they have sold me two outback lemons, one onyx and one wilderness, they had to replace my onyx as the computer systemShut off every time I used it. The exact same thing is happening with my wilderness, and the trunk closes by itself and is hazardous to my kids and my wife. The drivers seat has begun literally completely falling apart at less than 45 k miles which they refused to appropriately fix. do yourself a favor and stay away from Subaru and this place in general.

Absolutely wonderful customer service everybody there was so patient. I walked out of there with a wonderful car in one day that's affordable and I feel very comfortable in. The gentleman Tommy even help me move my car seats from my old car to my new car never been happier with a car dealership. Thank you all especially Tommy for everything. You made a scary experience so easy.

I came for service because I was losing tire pressure in 1 tire, despite filling to normal pressure. I was the only one in the entrance area& there were only 2 other people in the waiting area at any given time. I waited 21/2 hours beforebeing called that my car was ready & that a nail had been removed from the tire patched. There was no contact/ update during the 2 1/2 hours wait. The waiting room was very clean, attractive,spacious & I appreciated the coffee! I.felt that 2 1/2 hours was a long time without any explanation& without many other customers, with a nail to be removed & patched. I purposely didn't respond to the request for an evaluation as I had always had excellent experiences at the old Subaru dealershiplocation & preferred not to give a less positive evaluation. However, I received 2 more requests so decided to fill it out.

We recently helped our daughter purchase a Subaru Impreza from Subaru South Charlotte. My husband and I had gone into the dealership days before to view the car test, drive it and get all the important questions out of the way I requested that when my daughter came to see the vehicle that she was to be treated like a brand new customer that had not seen it not asked any questions since she would be one purchasing it. Mr. Demetrious Young was our sales person and he did not disappoint. He showed her every aspect of the car. He encouraged her to take a test drive, gave her all the same courtesies and attention that he had given us prior, the whole process was fantastic. The car that was promised to be brought in in the color that we requested was delivered on time in pristine condition, full tank of gas and beautifully detailed. Everyone at the dealership was very respectful, very kind and very patient explaining each part of the car buying process to our daughter. this is the second time that we have helped our daughters purchase a Subaru I am so very pleased that this time went as smoothly as the first, I can see Subaru, having our business for a very long time. Thank you

Excellent Service department. Service advisor, Jay, and Stephanie at desk were great, providing excellent Customer Service.Short wait time for routine maintenance service, easy scheduling. Extremely nice waiting area in their new facility.TJ was salesperson when bought Crosstrek 6 months ago. He was awesome. No sales pressure at all. Extremely helpful in all aspects.

I took my '23 Ascent for the 12K maintenance check. Service was so efficient that I barely had time to finish a second cup of coffee. Thanks for completing the maintenance in under an hour.

Brought car in for oil charge, alignment, etc. and was told it had other issues as well. Paid for those to be fixed. Car still pulls to the right. No idea what they re doing here but we will not be back. Feels like we were oversold and they didn t even fix the issue we were having in the first place.

Not sure why but it took nearly 3 hours for my recent oil change and tire rotation. I've been coming here since I purchased in 2020 but that was my last visit. Everything there is fine and the people are kind I just refuse to waste half my day there again.

I have had recurring problems using the radio, Siri, and all of the technology in my car since I bought it 6 months ago. Half the time, I have to hold my phone because it won't connect to the car. I feel unsafe in my car because I don't know that I can rely on the technology if I should ever need roadside assistance. Neither my list of contacts nor recent calls will not appear on the panel. It is beyond frustrating. My car has been checked several times at Subaru, but they are waiting on an answer from the corporate office to move forward. I have called and left messages for David, service department manager in Charlotte, with no response. I have left messages every week for Jordan Young in Customer Advocacy Department, but I have received absolutely no help in resolving this issue. One month ago, he wrote that he needed more information. I have been calling and leaving messages everywhere in order to find a solution. This is definitely a runaround. I am quite surprised by the lack of interest in my case. This is my first experience with Subaru, and it is doubtful that I would ever purchase another car from this company based on this terrible experience.

I had a regular standard service of my car.At the reception desk I presented printouts of discounts and predefined costs of the service (from their web-site), and was told that all is correct and accepted.However, they charged me more. The difference was not too high, but this is an ethical and trustworthy issue. And I really didn't like this attitude, these little dirty tricks.I sent 2 emails to their service address asking to explain the bill, but never got any response.How can I be sure that in case of a serious costly issue this company will not try to play unfair games with me?Obviously, I don't want to make any deals with this company anymore.And I do not recommend to work with them also.

Car salesmen are not my favorite people considering the experience I ve had over the past couple of months when I tried to buy a Toyota Highlander. I was totally put off by not being able to get my questions answered, so in March 2023 I decided to visit the Subaru South Charlotte dealership. I met Matt Schepers and he answered my questions. He mentioned that I could build my car online. I test drove the 2023 Ascent - what a beautiful SUV! It was then that I decided that was the car for me. Matt didn t badgered me about buying a car, or pester me with texts or emails. Four months later I called Matt when I was ready to make the purchase. It was the smoothest transaction - even got a few upgrades. Matt synced my phone, added my favorite radio stations on Sirius XM, and setup some other features to make my driving experience more pleasant. Matt exceeded my expectations in the manner that he valued me as a customer. I am a happy customer and I love my Subaru.

The service advisors are great and always make me feel welcomed and appreciated. However, I can not say the same about the technicians in the shop as they are sloppy and forgetful. The battery protective cover was removed but was not put back. I had to call to report the incident. The missing part was not available at the part department and it had to be ordered. I had to bring the car back to have the missing part installed. Quite inconvenient!

Aaron Forness is AWESOME! Upon my arrival, Aaron could tell I was tired and a bit out of it. He directed me to the lounge area, told me about the delicious (and badly needed) coffee, and reassured me I was in good hands. I was in and out in no time! We had an absolutely amazing experience with this Subaru! Paul was an amazing salesperson, and he took us through every step with great detail, and he was so incredibly knowledgeable. We test drove MULTIPLE different cars from different dealerships, and this was by far the best experienceHayley was also beyond helpful. My husband loves to read every document thoroughly and she was patient + informative throughout the whole process.I could not recommend this dealership more!

This place is amazing! The staff are so helpful. The sales manager Scott was very kind and gave me a great deal. The salesman that done our paperwork was Doug he was very helpful and answered all of our questions. But most of all, the car we got was amazing! We bought a used car and they updated everything on it to make sure it was a reliable vehicle. They put new tires, breaks, rotors, windshield wipers and so much more on this vehicle before putting it up for sale and that shows a lot about their business. They wouldn't put a vehicle up for sale unless they know it's reliable. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I will never go anywhere else. Thank you Subaru south Blvd!
