We were trying to figure out a difficult move of a boat we were looking to buy. The move was from Jacksonville to Morehead City by truck. I wasn't sure it was possible. These guys scoped it out and came back with a 'we can do it' and a reasonable quote. We didn't actually buy the boat but it was so nice working with them that I wanted to make sure they know we appreciate it.

We recently sold our boat and Julie Rahm had a good grasp on the market, allowing us to sell for more than anticipated. She navigated us through the process and had knowledgeable advice for the issues that arose along the way. Thank you, Julie, for a smooth transition.

I listed my 36 Hunter Sailboat with Hans Werner. He is a fantastic broker and was very supportive throughout the entire process. He flawlessly managed every aspect of the sale, from showing the boat to arranging the sea trials. Highly recommend Hans for the sale of your boat. He is fantastic.

I have now used their services twice: firstly, when they delivered my Tartan 37 from S FL to E NC. great price and great job. Thanks Paul. And secondly when I put up my boat for sale with their Brokerage. Their Sales broker, Andy did a wonderful job selling my boat. And without Nancy s administrative skills nothing would have happened! Thanks. Great people that I highly recommend.

Paul Welles did a fantastic job moving our 8 ton 31' cutter from Florida to NC. The price was on the high side of the various bids, but after the entire process was complete, it turned out to be a great value.Paul made an extra effort to keep a crusty yard manager informed of schedules, securely tied the boat and mast down, and delivered the boat within 10 minutes of his forecast. The delivery location was in a residential neighborhood, and onto a very challenging gravel pad. He leveled the boat, paying attention to the boats drainage pattern, checked to see where the ballast was located in the hull before placing the cribbing, carefully placed all the jack stands, and even cut the safety chains.I think the trailer was heavier than my boat. If you are not familiar with these trailers, there are 6 hydraulic supports for the sides of the boat. The air is let out of the trailers suspension, cross beams are removed, and then the trailer is moved forward. This was my first boat delivery, and certainly not Paul's. Will definitely use again.

I was in need of a light socket for my red and green on my 50 foot sailboat. I was unable to find anything at a local hardware store nor the local West Marine. Went into Triton yacht sales and service and spoke with the receptionist Eileen and Danny,a fellow US Marine. They were able to assist us in finding the proper socket from an old boat they had taken parts from. Amazing service great hospitality wonderful place to go if you need a unique part.

We had the misfortune of dealing with John Schwab one of the brokers. He was dishonest about the vessel that we were looking at and seems as though he was only concerned about getting the commission and not representing our best interests.

Had Triton do an atypical sailboat haul from North Carolina to Michigan. They picked up the boat and delivered it on time despite some horrible weather in excellent condition. Blair was reassuring making the necessary plans before hand and Danny kept me informed during transit and was a pleasure to deal with upon delivery. Would recommend Triton to anyone looking to transport a boat.

When we set our hearts on a Hunter 306 as our ideal retirement boat, we started looking online at everything on the market globally as they are very rare In Australia. Fortunately for us, we found what we were looking for at Triton Yacht Sales.Andy, Nancy and the Triton team were not only incredibly helpful, open and honest, but they cleaned, packed and transported the boat to Jacksonville for us to be shipped home. Not only are we now the proud owners of a lovely boat that arrived in great shape "as described" with no surprises, but we feel we ve made some great new friends along the way at Triton.Awesome experience guys, we can t recommend you highly enough!Robert and LindaMelbourne, Australia

Triton sold my boat last year and I was 100% pleased. Steve Snyder was the broker and did a wonderful job helping me prepare the description of our boat and getting photos. He notified me whenever he had an appointment to show the boat. That allowed me to keep using her during the time she was listed with Triton. When we received an offer, he pointed out the inclusion of contingencies for hull and engine surveys. We discussed how much I was willing to negotiate if the survey found problems, knowing the buyer had the right to back out of the deal if I refused. It was all above board and the buyer & I have become friends as we discussed his learning process with his new boat. Not only was he a good representative for my interests, Steve knew honesty with the buyer was the foundation of his business. I have recommended Steve to several friends who chose him to sell their boats.

If you're even thinking of buying a boat, we highly recommend you start with Triton Yacht Sales, they are truly the very best to work with. My husband and I had been actively shopping for a sailboat for the last two years. While on one of our many marina hunting trips, we came across a sailboat that was exactly what we were looking for. We were 9 hours away from home and running out of time for this trip so we called Steve and asked if he could show us the boat the next morning, on a Saturday, which he kindly agreed to do. Steve was so helpful and knowledgeable and willing to answer the dozens of questions we were asking and continue to ask. We never felt any pressure throughout the entire buying process from Steve, only helpful suggestions and answers to our many questions. We had no idea the process was going to go as smooth as it did. Steve and the staff at Triton Yacht Sales are great at what they do. Fair winds.

My experience with Triton Yachts in Oriental NC began in 2005 when our new Hunter 36 was splashed at Kerr Lake in NC. Over the years Paul Welles moved the boat for cleaning and maintenance. In 2014 we moved the boat to Oriental to prepare for some coastal sailing. Paul and his team were very professional, courteous and supportive during our association. In 2016 we decided to sell the boat. Tough decision. We put the boat up for sale thru Triton Yacht Sales and Captain Steve Snyder. Could not have asked for a more professional salesman or more knowledgeable Captain. As with most boats these days it took some time to sell. But finally after 14 months it did sell. By that time my wife and I had moved to the Yucatan in Mexico. Steve Snyder and Nancy Welles handled the whole sale transaction remotely and most successfully.I would use Triton Yachts again in a heartbeat. They are the best.Paul SullivanMerida Yucatan Mexico

We had the pleasure of buying our beautiful sailboat through Captain John Schwab of Triton Yacht sales in little River South Carolina. He made the experience very painless and was very attentive throughout the sale process and has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend Triton for all of your yacht buying and selling needs.

If you need a yacht transport, check out Danny and the guys at Triton. As a boatyard that loaded one for them, I can assure you these guys are who you want. Knowledgeable, professional, and THEY HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT FOR THE JOB!!! ...no standing around trying to figure how to put a boat on an inadequate trailer, how to modify a bunk trailer for an inboard, how to jack up the boat to get slings out etc..These guys have it together- trust me, USE THEM!!

Triton Yachts recently trucked my boat from a marina in Delaware home to Oriental, NC. Paul Welles not only fit me into his busy holiday schedule but also toughed out the recent record cold spell. Great care was taken to protect her from the elements and chafing. She arrived without a scratch. Loading in bitter cold to offloading in the pouring rain, Paul maintained a great demeanor. He knows what he is doing.

When purchasing our first boat we were lucky enough to stumble upon the local Little River, SC rep, John Schwab. It turns out John is a licensed Captain, avid sailor, education enthusiast and really understands every aspect of boating, boating dales and service. Look forward to our next transaction with the good folks at Trtion Yachts.

I was in their yard for 7 months and was treated exceptionally well. Power and water are close by as well as a coed bathroom with shower. I couldn't have asked for a better place to start my journey. Yard is easily accessibly, quiet, and protected. And when you're ready to launch there are several marina's close by to choose from.

Good luck buying or listing a boat with Triton yachts, its like working with a used car dealership with no one to answer a question or even start a motor or go over working systems. All they want is to tie up your money and time! The only dealer I have had the pleasure to visit with numerous plane rides and hours driving with absolutely nothing new to learn accept outdated pictures and misleading listings. They sit and stare at you then call later...and ask how much you'll pay without starting a motor...lol.

Incredibly shady. Used car salesman style of brokering. Definitely hiding problems with boats. They tried to tell me I wasn t allowed to turn on a DC light without an offer and sea trial. After alluding to the boat not being winterized, would not give me a straight answer to if it was or was not, and used that for excuse why I couldn t test anything. Do not trust this broker.

I just want to say for ourselves our experience with our broker John was outstanding. We purchased our 1st boat and out of that we are looking for another. We would never make a purchase without John's help and knowledge.
