This place is a blessing!!!Drive 5 hours to purchase a new to me work truck. Bout 30 minutes into the 5 hour trip home, the truck broke down. Only people within hours that would let me stop in and check it out!!! The owner of the vehicle came and gave me my money back. When you tell someone I m stranded 5 hours from home and they stop what they are doing to help instead of we re booked is worth it s weight in gold highly recommend this establishment. Plus it was super clean & courteous

**********HIGHLY RECOMMEND**********Wish I could give Twisted Rod Customz TEN STARS. Broken down on side of interstate, office girls had a technician come to us. He assessed the situation and arranged for the repair parts to be delivered to their shop. Office girls arranged for a wrecker to tow us to shop where the parts were waiting to be installed when we arrived. Technician repaired vehicle in a very timely manner while we waited, and we were out in a flash. Girls in the office very friendly and extremely helpful. Mechanics know exactly what they are doing. A caring bunch of people you will find here.

Incredible service!!! I was very happy to find this mechanic shop in downtown Old Fort. My battery light was on and as soon as I rolled in, the guys started working on my car and diagnosing the problem. The next day my alternator was changed. I was blown away by the quality of the work and attention to detail. Not to mention super friendly staff! Best mechanic I have been to. The office is sparkly clean. The owner even gave me a ride home as I had to leave my car at the shop for half a day and checked in on me the next day to make sure car was still running good. I will definitely be using these guys from here on out.Service: Engine repair

These guys are wonderful to work with! I love their customer service and how they are willing to work around my schedule. When your a one car home this is important. The quality of work is fantastic! I definitely would recommend these guys !!

They put new brakes and rotors on my vehicle. Not only did they do excellent work, their prices are fair and reasonable. I will definitely use them again! Happy customer!!

We have all of our vehicles serviced here. We buy tires and brakes here too. We have always had a positive experience while dealing with this shop. They are always very knowledgeable. Friendly with reasonable pricing and efficient and honest service. We are so fortunate to have Twisted Rod in Old Fort, NC. Our granddaughter came up for spring break with a few friends. Her car had a flat while visiting & we knew she needed all new tires. It was our first experience with Twisted Rod & we will continue to do business with them. She ended up needing 4 new tires, brakes & pads. They were very professional, work done within our tight schedule & price was very fair. They helped make us grandparents feel confident & relieved putting her back on the road home. I have used this company over and over and will continue. Nathan and his group go above and beyond to make sure things are done correctly. Prices are fair, communication is easy and they stand behind their work. they have really been a great find so to speak as i have not had much luck finding a solid mechanic for a while. highly recommend them! Great business with a wonderful owner. One of the few business owners left that is honest with his prices and service. His shop has done several repairs for me and I wouldn't hesitate to have him do more. Glad to have his and his business in Old Fort.

What a find!!! We were in the area getting our coach repaired at Bob s RV Body Shop (which was also outstanding!) and needed to repair a slow leak in the Jeep tire, stopped by Twisted Rod and EVERYONE was so nice and friendly!! They fixed it right away and the price was great!!Thanks again for the great service - Nathan and for the welcome with open arms - Dawn!!

These folks are FANTASTIC.Passing thru Old Fort my brake light came on. I pulled into their place with no appointment and never having done business with them before. They found the problem, replaced the leaking brake line, tested the fix and had me back working in about an hour. The mechanic showed me what he was doing and why and the owner told me to how much they appreciated my business. I felt like a relative. WHAT MORE COULD ANYONE ASK FOR ?

Passing through Old Fort my brake warning light came on.I pulled into this Auto Repair Service even though I had no appointment and had never done business.I was looking for somebody that could help me.They quickly found the problem was that the steel brake line had rubbed against the frame and worn a hole in the line meaning I was losing brake fluid and the ability of brakes.They put my vehicle on a lift, removed the bad line, installed a new line, bled all the brakes and everything was back to perfect. While I was there it was obvious that these folks really care about people and I felt like I was among Home Folks.

Coming down a mountain on our road trip through NC, our brakes started to go out. We pulled over and called several repair shops that were all full. Then we called Twisted Rod (who was also full) and told them our situation (just passing through and had a hotel 4 hours away). Even though they had a full day just like every other shop, they decided to squeeze us in and get us back on the road. We could not have been more thankful. To top it off, everyone was INCREDIBLY nice. I do not have one negative thing to say and would highly recommend them to anyone!Service: Brakes

they were honest and friendly and i didnt have to wait long time.and it was something minor that was wrong with my truck. the staff are very nice,and check out the woodwork in their office its beautiful and i just love it

The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. We discovered a leak in my AC right before a vacation to Florida and they got us right in and are fixing us up as we speak.

I hit an object in the highway and tore a hole in my gas tank, stranding me in Old Fort at 4pm. The woman at the BP station, the nice, white haired man in the truck, as well as the tire and brake shop proprietor, all said, call Nathan at Twisted Rod . I did- and they were like a pit crew at the races! Nathan should add counseling to his resume, when, through the fog of WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? (I was on a deadline to a destination) he broke through with calm down, it s not the end of the world, here s your list of options... At 5 pm on a Friday, Whitney, the kindest person ever to answer a phone, went hours out of her way to ensure I was in a safe place and back on my way...the Twisted Rod people are angels. I ve never had an experience, or heard a story of an experience, with a mechanic this positive. What could ve been a terribly dangerous position, and was a terribly unlucky one, was turned into a day that made me feel lucky to be a human. Thank you Twisted Rod!

Our car broke down in the middle of the night in Old Fort while on the way to visit family. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We just wish they'd open up a branch in Tennessee, now!

I can t say enough good things about this place! I m on the road back to Illinois and my wheel bearing went bad. Stopped in and they bent over backwards getting us in and fixed. Good honest people! Wish more places were like them! Thank you!!!
