When I was hired it was one of the best jobs in Western NC. After roughly 2 years they had a transition of ownership. New leadership pushed the rest of Administration to change shift timing. We changed from working 12hr shifts to 8 hrs. On 12s we would get day of overtime every other week. To prevent that we were told 5 days 8hrs to prevent overtime. The first week on 8s was a 7 day week. Sometimes we would work 50+ days in a row. Short notice on mandatory OT to make things worse. There are some wonderful people working there. If they ever go back to 12s Id be willing to retire from that place.

Quick in & out on outbound & inbound from round trip.Tight area.No overnight parking posted on office wall.May can up until 7 AM, as driver below stated.They will wake you up & have you move, otherwise.Cool people.

Not bad at all for a receiver.. there's a sh!tload of empty trailers everywhere and it can be a little confusing since there's multiple addresses on the same site but once I found my correct dept I was told to back into an empty dock and they'd get to me. 5pm on a Thursday and I was gone before 6.

Overnight parking on their " Averitt Trailers yard " you can park in between trailers upto 7am. They open at 7 but start me unloading at 8am. Fast & Friendly.

Good plant to work. Must wear ear plugs and eye shields if working on a line. Fair pay for the local town wage competition but does have a lot of drama for such a small plant

Not a friendly place for truckers. Very poorly marked and cluttered mess everywhere. However, the people are nice, helpful and efficient.

You're hiring in low life cheaters that prey on young girls. His married girlfriend meets him right out in the parking lot. Jimmy Newton is the lowest form of scum on earth. He lies, cheats and will do the same thing there he did at Tilson. Create drama. All about them ladies. Married single young or old he's 50th old why not give that job to a youth trying to support a family instead of a predator. I work with his side how Brianna and the whole thing makes me sick.

If you're not related to one of 3 families you can plan on doing all the jobs that everyone doesn't like to do if it's hard fast or dirty bet on being put there
