First time in there with My new truck. I had excellent service. The people at the front desk are extremely nice. The service was fast and detailed. The staff was knowledgeable of my vehicle needs. I will be doing more business with them in the future.

Was taking a trip from Virginia to Sunset Beach and had a blowout. The incredible folks at L & A South Tire and Auto took very good care of me, in a short time frame. I highly recommend they guys!

I ve had my vehicles serviced here for many years and I ve been very pleased with L and A South. Jonathan is a stand up guy and runs the shop in a way that makes you want to return. The whole team is always very pleasant and polite to work with. The staff always takes time to explain issues and answer my questions and even have gone out of their way to help in a pinch. This is the best service and most consistent auto shop I have found living here for over 30 years.

Went and had a couple of tires installed. Had a 1 o clock appointment. Arrived at 1 o clock. Checked in and they started working on my car within five minutes. The service tech was extremely nice, though. Unfortunately I didn t get his name. They showed me a couple of issues and gave me options, I was out of there by 1:40. They had a nice lounge area to sit in while I waited. The work was done quickly, professionally, by knowledgeable, and very friendly staff. Oh, and their prices were unbelievable for the service that they gave. Highly recommend this establishment!

Fast, fair pricing was in an out in 30 minutes for a oil change. I have taken both of my cars there in the past. Excellent service would highly recommend.

I love this place. I've been taking my vehicle to L&A South Tire and Auto for several years, since I moved here from the north. The customer service is the best I've found and their parts and labor are reasonably priced. Ladies at the counter are always courteous, friendly, and very helpful. Technicians are knowledgeable and service is done quickly. In the unlikely event there's an issue with work done, they will make it right.

I was a walk in. The ladies at the register not only were super sweet, the black kitty who runs the place gave me all the love. The boys took my car in right away & I was done in less than 30 min. Best service ever! I just moved up here 2 months ago, so guess who just won a returning customer :) I'm glad they do it all, keep in mind your best interest & don't just overcharge you in times of need. Thank you guys :)

Had a alignment done today after installing new tie rods and i was met with professional and courteous service by Alan and the lovely front desk staff all at a very reasonable price. Fred, the automotive technician did an excellent job considering the alignment was very bad to begin with, explained in detail the work performed and I will certainly continue to bring my business here.

Panda and Terrie were amazing!!! They were so courteous and made sure my experience there was fantastic. The lounge area was immaculate with a TV to keep us entertained until my vehicle was ready. Raymond the cat made sure to make an appearance. The technician Mike made sure to explain everything he did to my vehicle. I appreciated that. Highly recommend!!!

Just passing through on our way to an appointment when a piece of metal wire inserted itself into one of the tires. Made it safely to L&A South Tire shop where they were able to get the car into their shop within a few minutes. Our car was ready to go in about an hour and at a reasonable price.

We have been taking our 2 vehicles (Silverado and BMW) to this great team at L&A South for several years after having receiving poor service at other mechanic locations. L&A keeps us informed on major repair work and provides us with options - fix now or later as unexpected repairs are discovered. Have recommended others to L&A when searching for quality and fairly priced work. Thanks L&A.!

L&A South was there for me today squeezing me into their very busy schedule to plug a hole in a tire going flat. I appreciate their willingness to help me out of a bad situation because I needed this tire fixed today. Everyone working there was very nice and very helpful. I'm thankful they took the time to perform the work for me when they could have easily turned me away because I didn't have an appointment.

Best service I ever had! I went in to get my breaks done and Randy suggested that he could fix a few other things that always bothered me for years that I didn t know was even fixable without costing an arm and a leg. No other mechanics ever asked me or even knew how when I asked a long time ago. I seriously couldn t be more happy with the results!Also, shout out to the awesome Ladies at the counter! They were such a joy and gave my new pup so much love lol

These Guys are pros,they do fantastic work,and friendly service from all the staff I highly recommend if you love you're cars like I do and you don't want to worry about them .you use these guys!!!! The put my car inside every night and put my cover on it.i appreciated that:)

My husband and I love L&A, you can really trust them. Panda always greets me with a smile and I love the cats, an added bonus for an animal lover. Since moving to Ocean Isle Beach this is the only place we take our vehicles and you should too. Really nice to have a trusted place to go. You guys ROCK !!!

One of the best experiences I ve had with getting my vehicle repaired. Randy Emanuel (Shop Manager) was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and explained everything that I needed to get my vehicle back in top shape. You don t to meet to many people these days with a honest character and personality like his! The ladies at the front desk were very polite, professional, and the staff made you feel welcome to be there. I would recommend this LA Tire South to anyone.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I can't say enough great things about this place. The staff is wonderful - from the helpful gals answering our calls for help to the technicians who get the work done. We're not from the area but family lives in OIB. Twice in the past year, we found ourselves on the road with the family when our truck needed some work. These guys not only squeezed us in - but did the repairs timely. They figured out what was needed quickly, completed the repairs according the timeline they prescribed -- and were extremely reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this place.

I have dealt with L&A South twice, two days back to back. They were absolutely amazing. They were able to take care of my lifted truck for an alignment, tire balance, and repair a valve steam. When an issue occurred, they would come to me to inform me and show me. I'll be using them for now on. Actually about to call and schedule tire balance on our bronco.

Me and my family have been going to these guys for almost a decade now and I can t stress enough how great their service is. They always work with me and always do a great job. We had a dead battery in a very old BMW. We were having trouble finding the right battery and when we finally did it was going to be fixed the next day (and we were unable to turn the car off or else it wouldn t start again!). When I called L&A South they immediately ordered us the battery from a local supply shop, and had it in-house and installed in about an hour. Amazing. We won t be going anywhere else for car issues from here on.

We still are loyal customers of L& A South Tire. The staff is always friendly. Their tire prices are reasonable. However, this visit was a little disappointing. I scheduled a 9am drop off for an oil change 2/16/24 and purchased 2 new tires to be installed. I requested a pick up by 2:30pm. I did not receive a call back to say the car was ready by 2pm so I called to inquire. I was told it would be ready after 3pm. I explained I needed to be somewhere at 3pm. Needless to say I wasn't completely happy with this experience.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Many in our area use L&A for inspection because you generally can get an appointment right away as opposed to other shops. I have found them to be just as convenient for all my vehicles needs. Professional, courteous and fair pricing have made them my one stop shop.

I ve been a customer at L&A South for 13 years. Every vehicle my husband & I have ever owned is touched by only the skilled professionals at L&A. Today I stopped in for a vibration when braking. After a quick diagnosis my car was on the lift and front brakes and rotors being replaced. The mechanic brought to my attention an issue with my front CV axle. Thankfully this is a warranty item, which allowed me to get this handled under my warranty. I can t thank the skilled professionals at this establishment enough for not only looking out for me, as a woman alone at the shop, but also for ensuring I was safe traveling on the road. I m lined up for a second appointment next week to replace my rear brakes and rotors. L&A provides something you can t buy at a store- PEACE OF MIND! Don t walk, RUN to L&A South. L&A south does all of my car service for the past 4 years. The staff here is always so friendly and welcoming.. I have never had to bring my vehicles back to them for something they didn t do correctly. I have never felt in past 4 years they were trying to oversell something.Thank you team.

I wrote a review last week which I have deleted. I took my car to L&A because the company who did my oil change told me I have a screw in my tire so he couldn't rotate my tires. I blew up in an unkind review to L&A.Today I reached out to L&A and they completely resolved my problem. The screw was actually a piece of metal stuck in the tread that didn't affect my tire at all. They also tell me they did remove a nail from one of the tires they replaced and had to replace both front tires so my car would drive correctly.I apologize to L&A and any customers that may have read that review. I was traveling on the day after I wrote the review and couldn't resolve it until today. I was wrong and overreacted.L&A treated me with kindness (which I didn't deserve after the review I wrote) and fairness. They checked my car out and reassured me that my tires were fine. My sincerest apologies. I will take my car to them for any repairs I need that they can provide.

Service and staff is amazing. Great customer service and prices are reasonable - highly recommend moved here last year from Virginia and would not trust anyone else to take care of our cars!
