This dealership is extremely unprofessional . My wife took our 2017 Explorer for a recall on the tow link. The owner walked through and seen a drop cord not taped down and said to one of his employees to tape it down before she(my wife) sues over falling!(presumptions)And another thing 8 day's prior I had a front and rear end alignment the shop manager said the steering wheel was not straight so we asked him if they reallinged the rear wheels and we were told yes needless to say that was a flat out lie. I had to have my tires realigned and ford refused to accept the responsibility for there actions that led to knocking our car out of alignment so I had to pay for another allighnment

My experience purchasing this 2023 Maverick was excellent in every way. This is the second vehicle we have bought from Yadkin Valley Motor Company and again it was handled professionally in a timely manner and the people that I dealt with were great. I highly recommend this dealership.

This review is in regards to sales, custom ordered my Maverick last year and recently took delivery. My salesman was honest and communicated well throughout the entire experience. They honored price protection and sold the truck with no additional fees or pressure to take the extended warranty, etc. Highly recommend.

They have had my mothers Ford fiesta car for over 7 months and still not repaired with multiple excuses and lies. Will be going to get her car back with my lawyer soon if not resolved! Will NEVER return!

The Service Department at Yadkin Valley Motor Company repsects me as a woman and my knowledge of automobiles; that does not always happen. It took some time to determine what was wrong with my Escape, but the staff of the Service Department worked until the problem was solved. I chose to purchase this Escape because I knew I would receive excellent service at Yadkin Valley.

My brother in law took his car to have it fixed and sell they didn't fix it. They wouldn't answer the phone when he would call to check on his car. Well the car is not fixed and he also had to have it towed to someone else to be fixed. The lady working had an attitude and was just rude.

Service here is below average. They are understaffed and the staff they have seem like they could care less about customer relations. They struggled to answer phones, communicate about the status of my truck being serviced, and responding to voicemails. They had my truck for several weeks at a time. The first time, they put in a PCM and didn t even look at the truck. When I picked up my truck, I had more lights on after having it towed there and lights I ve never seen since owning the truck. It turns out they think the tow truck driver broke the wheel speed sensor hose and so when I brought it back the second time they fixed the part they put in which fixed the light issues. However, after taking several weeks to get that part in they never looked at other stuff. For instance, the coolant cap was half off and there was no coolant in the reservoir. And although they claimed it was ready to go it was out of coolant, cap half on. And even though the dealer had a few sales guys in there, I could not get a container of coolant or get topped nor could they have done that the entire time they had my truck which at this time had been a total of about two months. I have an F150 that I bought in 2015 with 30,000 miles and now it has 377,000 miles. They assumed that because of the high miles that it always has lights on which is not the case- I take care of my truck and plan on owning this for many years to come. I am shocked that this would happen in a dealer that showcases some beautiful antique Ford cars and one would think they would take pride and enjoy seeing a high mile truck come in. I am now regretting fully not paying the $200 to originally tow it down to Huntersville Ford. We moved here back in May and were hoping to build a great relationship with a local Ford dealer and now, I rather tow or drive my truck 2 hours away instead of letting them touch my truck again.

Took 07 GT500 in for recall and some routine work. I had an appointment established. They were ready, fast, courteous and my car was kept inside while I paid. I drove it out. Others might say that's just average. It certainly should be. But in my experience, it is not. I appreciate it and hope this review reflects my feeling.

My wife and I came to the mountains on our anniversary on July 16th. On the way to our cabin my car blew a spark plug and we were stuck. I called Yadkin Valley Motor Company and spoke to the service department. They called the tow company, who were also awesome, thank you DJ. We got back down the mountain and asked about car rental and they told us that they had already contacted the local rental place and that they were sending someone to pick us up. They got my car fixed by Friday afternoon. Awesome experience.

This is the most reliable dealership in regards to buying cars and getting service on your vehicle. I would never choose anyone else to work on my explorer. They go beyond the normal to make sure you are pleased and are safe. Proud they are in my home town. Please check them out.

Took my 2017 F-150 in for a vibration at highway speeds. I was told it was the tires so they rotated and balanced them and we took it for a drive and the vibration was still there. I was then told they didn t have time to fix it and to drive it till it got worse. That s not good service in my opinion. I would have rather them be honest and tell me they don t know how to diagnose the problem and to go somewhere else than tell me to drive it till it gets worse. This was my first and last trip to this dealership and the friends and family that have there vehicles serviced there also.

This place is horrible!! Took vehicle in for a simple oil change and rotation. They neglected to put the oil pan cover back in and I drug it for a while. Needless to say, they are replacing it. Then on the rotation, they didn't even put correct amount of air in the tires. The service manager is rude. The owner knew I was waiting to talk to him, he was to busy talking to his friends then to speak to me.

Dear Mr. Kilby,Wanted to give you a breakdown of my most recent experience with your service department;11/18/19 Called and talked with Sam concerning scheduling my 03 Ford F250 to have an oil leak checked. I was told to bring truck to dealership at 10 AM Thursday 21st because they only had time between 10-11 AM to check truck.11/21/19 - I had truck at dealership around 9:15 that morning.11/21/19 @ 1:34 PM Did not get a call from Sam so I called to get status. I was told by Sam I had two oil leaks, one was high pressure oil pump and I don t recall the other. Sam said both (especially high pressure oil) pump is very common on the 7.3 engines. I ask Sam to give me a cost of the repair as well as when work can be scheduled and call me back, he said he would. I ask for a written estimate due to earlier this year I had the same truck in for a fuel tank issue and my cost was almost $100 more than I was told veritably and no one seem to remember the conversation.11/22/19 @ 12:12 PM Called service department to ask for estimate as well as when work can be scheduled. No answer, this was close to lunch so I would try back later.11/22/19 @ 12:32 PM - Called service department, No answer, left message for Sam to call me back concerning service of truck.11/22/19 @ 2:45 PM - Called service department, No answer, left message for Sam to call me back concerning service of truck.11/22/19 @ 4:24 PM - Called service department, No answer, did not leave message. Hit 0 to take me back to operator, told operator that I have called several times trying to talk with Sam about my vehicle could she help me reach him. Before I could finish my sentence I was transferred back to the service department and got answering machine again.11/22/19 @ 5:10 PM - Called service department, No answer, did not leave message.11/22/19 @ 5:11 PM Called and ask receptionist to direct my call to Sam s manager. Receptionist said that you were his manager and you were gone for the day. I ask when you would be back in the office and she said Saturday morning.11/23/19 @ 8:30 AM Drove to dealership to talk with you concerning this issue. I first went to service department to see if Sam was available prior to meeting with you in the event there were other reasons he had not returned my calls. Sam was not working but Todd was there, I started telling Todd about all the calls that I made and he was not very receptive of my issues. I told Todd all someone had to do is call me and tell me that the repair could not be scheduled for several days and I would have picked up my truck and brought it back when service could be scheduled. I only have one vehicle for me to drive and it puts me in a predicament without transportation for no reason.I ask Todd when they thought we could schedule the repair and he said he was not sure. So I ask if I could take the truck until someone could schedule, Todd said yes.I went to the front desk to ask to meet with you and was told by Brady that you would not be in today. So I went out to check my truck prior to driving another 18 miles back home to get my wife to bring me back to the dealership to pickup truck. I find the truck sitting on the road (not behind the gate) unlocked and probably been sitting there unlocked sense Thursday. I then when back to the service desk and informed Todd about the truck sitting on road unlocked. As you can see I am very disappointed with your service over the last few days.I hope you take this letter in the way it was intended, Please let me know if you have questions and thank you for your time reading.Sincerely,Mike** Mr Kiby's Response to my letter **I have discussed this with the 2 managers and the mechanic. I have had 1 week vacation and work 6 days a week. I took a day off. I go to lunch. You have offended the mechanic and others here. we have an abundance of service work and would like to hire more mechanics and another service advisor to answer the phone but we can t find them. It is best that you go somewhere else.John Kilby

Husband brought his 1995 F150 in one month ago to have them check why it was running rich. Twice they promised him that they were looking at it that day. Well, they hVe NOT looked at it and we are picking it up and bringing it to someone who cares about their customers.

I was hoping to find a reliable dealer to service my Ford Escape. Was I wrong! I knew that my car was misfiring due to faulty spark plugs that were just installed by another mechanic. I was told that the computer showed which one was faulty and that they had replaced it along with the coil associated with it. I ask if they had driven it to be sure it was fixed and told them that I wanted the faulty plug because it was under warranty. I was told yes. This had to be a lie, because when I picked it up it is still doing the same thing...misfiring and I did not receive the plug or faulty coil, so my almost 200.00 for I plug and coil went for what? Do not trust these people!

My experience with Yadkin Valley Ford was anything but good. The service Manager was very nasty to me .He would not warranty a Ford OEM part. The part has a two year warranty. The general Manager for this dealership, also had a bad attitude. His attitude was if you didn't buy your truck or the part from us we will not help you. I'm sure this is not the attitude that Ford Motor company expects from their dealerships. I will not go to Yadkin Valley for anything . I will take my business elsewhere.I suggest you do the same.

Great experience. Was traveling with travel trailer from out of town when new truck broke down near Yadin Valley Motors dealership. They took our truck in immediately and diagnosed issue of bad oil pressure sensing unit. Service Manager, Sam, had part overnighted and had truck fixed the next morning. Thanks to the YVM service team!

Michael Carter explained this dealership perfectly. If you didn't buy it from them they dont want to help. The service manager was also nasty with me. I CANNOT believe that Ford Company allows this dealership to treat customers this way. I called Ford motor company and they told me that individual dealers are owned by separate people and they do things at their discretion. I will NEVER purchase another Ford.
