Northwest Automotive has been supplying our automotive needs for the past few years. Being from Caldwell County and new to Wilkes County, we are so grateful to have crossed paths with them. They are honest, dependable, reliable and fair. Their communication is outstanding as well. The list goes on. When you take your vehicle to them you know it is in the best hands possible. In the past week I have had the brakes fixed on two vehicles. Northwest is always very professional and organized. Repairs are always done when they say they will be and they are done right. Their prices are fair and are wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend anyone with basic service needs to major repairs to call Madison and Stephen. They can be trusted to do a great job. Best place in Wilkes by far!!! Very Very reasonable prices and also they do not tell you something is wrong with your car just to get your money! I 100% recommend them.

My husband recently deployed and I ve had to handle the car issues. That being said, I really wanted to find a trustworthy business. I can vouch that Northwest Automotive is honest, trustworthy and they get stuff done quickly. They will not charge you for something you don t need. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Northwest Auto.We just bought a 2002 Red Dodge 1500 pick up truck.We knew there was a leak and possibly a steering issue.Steve Osborne was our mechanic,He called us to let us know what the problems were with our vehicle and approximately how much it would be to fix the problems. He was very upfront, honest and did a great job.Our vehicle was ready as promised.

They've been working on my cars for years, and they've always been great. I try to do maintenance myself, but they're always there to help when I can't manage the job. They did some more extensive work on my Pontiac Vibe a few years ago--it ran like new afterwards. I can't say enough! Thanks for the great service, guys!

Worked on two vehicles of mine. They did a good job replacing the power steering on the first one, so I talked my wife into bringing her vehicle in. They replaced the radiator to solve a leak we had. Then the real problem started.I started driving it from their new location on 421 business, and made it to where it joins 421 beside Pap Johns. I began to ascend the slight hill to merge and my car slipped gear, then slowed down and bolted forward screeching the tires.This is while trying to get onto 421 at about 40 mph. It scared me quite a bit so I pulled over and checked the fluids.It was completely out of antifreeze which I had just paid for.I assume that when they did the replacement, their mechanic did not plug the transmission hose and just let it drain.I just called them to get them to take care of it, and they told me to go to the cops or bring it by and and pay more money to fix the problem they caused.I have told a few people to go to them after getting my first car fixed, and I truly regret it.It is absolutely appalling that businesses get away with this in this industry. I will be filing a claim, and showing that the vehicle was not travelled.I will also be gathering more evidence from individuals in town.If you read this review, please understand that there are options for vehicle repair. Don t put your trust into someone or a business without doing the due diligence of researching them.I will also be reporting them to the BBB and our local agencies. This is irresponsible, reprehensible, and outright disgusting.I have never been this disappointed in a business, and their practices, in my life.Update: They agreed to toe the vehicle to their shop. Then, they said we were not allowed to watch them check it over. Told us the transmission fluid is burnt. Not sure what to think now. A very bad time to be stranded without a working vehicle.They did say that a Ford dealership would be able to do a proper transmission fluid clean and replacement.This is just a sad day for our poor little Ford. :(Just gonna buy a new car Monday.0/100

If you need your car fixed with a reasonable price and excellent work, this is the place for your car!! The staff is super helpful and the owners are some of the nicest people you will meet!!!

Excellent service at competitive prices. They are Toyota experts and use genuine Toyota parts. I drive over an hour to get my vehicles serviced here, well worth it.

Very professional. Actually takes your vehicle and fixes it... hard to find nowadays!It's not a "discount" shop but again you can get repairs done in a fair timeframe.

I can't say enough good things about Mark, who helped us out when we were having some brake problems the other day! I don't live in the area, but if I did, this shop would definitely get my business on a regular basis!
