Our alternator and battery shut down our Hyundai 2017Santa SE @3:00am in the morning while driving to work and we didn't know anybody. My husband called Noble Automotive of Wikes, Mr.John and his amazing business step in and fixed our vehicle. God Bless him and his family always Amen.

After returning from a 3 week trip my radiator busted the day after I got home. Owning a hauling business with 2 trucks down is detrimental to your business.I called around and no one could get me in within the day, much less the week.John and his team assured they could get me in and get my radiator replaced and get back on the road the same day.If you re looking for an honest trustworthy mechanic in the Wilkes county area. These are your guys.

While having one headlight bulb replaced this shop broke a seal which caused water to accumulate on the inside lens of that headlight. They also forgot to do the oil change that was also requested. The next morning I noticed the water inside the headlight casing. I called and spoke to Jon and brought the car back in so he could look at it. Jon said he would fix it and do an oil change so we agreed to the appointment for Monday. After making arrangements to leave the car for the day, Jon back peddled when I was there during the fix it appointment. Jon stated that he wouldn t take responsibility for the repair although he was the one to tell me to bring the car back in and he will also change the oil. While there he had the nerve to say the problem already existed which meant he was calling me a liar. There are better auto shops available, steer clear of this one and don t be fooled by his God Bless quote. I noticed Jon Noble the self-proclaimed Christian man decided to respond to my poor review of his family business by misrepresenting the facts. First of all, you should leave God out of this since you and your employees are the ones responsible for compromising my headlight. Since the first day I came to your shop, you and your employees made less than favorable comments about my car. If you couldn't handle changing a lightbulb, you could have politely declined. You can call it what you want but your establishment mangled the cover that goes over the lightbulb within the headlight casing causing it to develop moisture. I noticed it the next morning after I picked up my car. You of course blamed it on an 18-year-old car and normal wear and tear. I will have you know that I sold Cadillacs for over 20 years and there are still a lot of nicer older ones out here, including mine. You had to blame someone or something for the inadequacy of your work. When I brought the vehicle back on Monday morning per your request to drop it off and leave it for the day, you then presented an attitude that was less than worthy of a Christian response. I told you I would be back after work around 3:30 when you then decided to tell me with attitude you couldn't promise you would have it ready. I will have you know that my mechanic fixed my headlight in less than 2 hours. He also asked me who changed the lightbulb and then proceeded to tell me that whoever worked on it, mangled the cover over the lightbulb and just shoved it back in the casing. This caused the moisture to accumulate on the inside lens. My mechanic is the same one that removed the film that covered my headlights previously, so I knew the condition my headlights were before you tried to diminish the condition of my 18-year-old car. Shame on you for misrepresenting the facts and then calling it slander. Any good Christian businessperson would admit their mistakes, fix it and move on. You sir clearly have a problem understanding what good character is and I can assure you that if anybody needs forgiveness, it is you. The only way I would ever step back on your establishment, is to get my $192 back that you charged me to replace a headlight bulb. An apology would also be nice, I'm waiting........Service: General repairs & maintenance

Fixed whatever was triggering my check engine light and then only charged me for the oil change I also had done. Two months out and all good. Will be returning when I need other work done.

Honestly I would give 100 stars if I could! John and his employees were not only kind and courteous but thorough and honest (in a society where honesty is hard to come by it means so much to me as a customer). I took a used car to them to have them check it out before I purchased. They walked us through all of the issues that the car had and told us what it would cost in parts and labor. John is incredibly knowledgable and isn't a salesman by any means. Incredible people and reasonable prices (especially considering the quality of work)! I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

He who helps you in your worst moment well deserves to be your best hero! (unknown)We had car trouble on our Honda Pilot as we drove through Wilkesboro. We contacted John to see if he could diagnose our problem. Despite being busy, he took the time to check our car and was able to replace the alternator within the same day! Our battery was at full charge and didn't need replacing. I cannot even begin to write how much we appreciated John and his team taking care of our car. Everyone was professional. They went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend taking your car to Nobles!!

These guys are the most honest and competent mechanics I have ever met. We were having a serious crisis with our vehicle to the point where we were afraid to drive it home especially since we have two children. No one else in town had the part and the Toyota dealership wanted to charge us $130 just to look at it. Nobles fixed the problem and were incredibly kind to us.We are going to be repeat customers from now on. Thank you guys so much.

Initially brought my car (88 trans am)in for overheating and sputtering/stalling. A month, 4 visits and over $1000 later the car is still suffering from the same stalling and sputtering issues as before. After this last visit I was promised everything was good to go and all the issues were solved, didn t even make it 20 miles before my car died and almost caused an accident. They came highly recommended but unfortunately missed the mark with my vehicle, great guys but would not recommend for any older model vehicles. Honestly very disappointed in their ability to diagnose and solve issues on older vehicles.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Best customer service I've ever experienced at an auto body shop. Even witnessing how the other customers were treated was a pleasant experience. Great mechanics, great problem solving abilities! My wife and I had issues with wind fairings on the bottom of our car while on a long trip. We stopped at Nobles hoping for some help. Help they did! The guys at Nobles found time in their schedule to take us in immediately, diagnose the problem, repair it and get us back on the road again in less than an hour. Took one of my vehicles down expecting some major front end work. Turned out to be a bad tire! I appreciate honesty. Bought four new ones at a very reasonable price. Great to work with and I'll return for regular service maintenance for both our vehicles. ASE certified technicians.

I stopped by with a problem I wasn't sure could be fixed. I WANTED to think it would be worth spending money on but these guys checked my car out, explained my options and gave me an honest opinion. Being as I was unable to drive my car across town, one guy even offered to take me to get my husband's car so I could pick my kids up from school on time (even though they wouldn't be making any money from me.) I appreciate their honesty and willingness to be of help! That ranks pretty high in my book!

I needed service that was beyond the scope of my tire store and they recommended Nobles Automotive. I have a 2014 Honda and was pleased to learn that Mr. Nobles was well versed in Honda repair. My Ridgeline had gone just over 100.000 miles and needed many of the regular maintenance items required at that mileage attended to. Mr. Nobles was able to address all items at his shop saving me hundreds of dollars over the nearest Honda dealership. I really appreciate him and his crew. We were sitting in an inoperable pickup, in a parking lot 140 miles from home on a Sunday afternoon. John Nobles drove by with his family and stopped to ask if he could help. Within minutes and with minimal tools, he was able to determine that the problem was not what the truck computer was suggesting.We had the truck towed to Mr. Nobles' garage on Monday and he was able to find and replace the malfunctioning sensor quickly. John is a friendly, polite and knowledgeable individual. I would not hesitate to have him work on any vehicle I own and would recommend him to anyone else in need of automotive work.Service: Engine repair

I had just driven from Rochester New York down to North Wilkesboro and my car didn t sound right. A friend referred me and they took care of my car IMMEDIATELY!!! I had my car within three hours of my arrival! Fast, friendly, and impossible-to-beat service. My first visit, needed brakes changed in a hurry, and cannot find a single negative thing to say about my experience. From the time I called to when I was driving off the parking lot, maybe 40 min. had gone by. And still he was professional, kind, and shared very real and useful information with me about my vehicle. I don't even live in the area, but it was the smoothest experience I've ever had at a mechanic hands down.
