We first called AAA and they could not arrange a tow for less than a 5 hour wait. So, I started searching for my own tow.J & J responded quickly, sending a truck within 1 hour to deliver our suburban and the trailer we were pulling to a parts store, where my husband was able to get a piece to reattach a broken hose.The price was reasonable, the driver was friendly. I highly recommend J&J.Service: Car towing

J&J towed my Range Rover 81 miles no muss no fuss. I had to leave the vehicle disabled and was over 200 miles away by the next day. J&J came within 45 minutes of my call and had the vehicle loaded safely onto the flatbed, delivered quickly and safely to the dealer where I was called by the driver. Great service and good value. My car had minor brake down and I only wanted a roll back for the job because my car is super low to the ground. J&J of course have roll backs and I was still a little worried about my car being damaged. But that wasn't going to happen with the driver they sent me for sure. He got there quickly and was very patient and it was a pain to load and unload. He was very careful not to damage my car and he did and excellent job. And he was nice looking also lol. I will definitely use their services in the future if I ever need a roll back again. I would recommend them to anyone and especially if you have a car that's low to the ground.Service: Car towing

Just want to say I had an awesome experience regardless of what other reviews say I had made a post on Facebook needing help with getting my 2003 suburban towed for Myrtle Beach South Carolina for a 250 mile trip J&J garage was quick to respond with a price we agreed on the price and he quickly sent a trough to pick it up my whole experience with this tow company was great communication was great their performance was great and their pricing was great highly recommendedService: Car towing

Great company. I would give them 5 stars, but it took them a LONG time to get to us. We placed a call to AAA, and the truck arrived about three hours later. The dispatcher for the business was very friendly and responsive, though. Darrell, the tow truck driver, was extremely friendly and took great care to make sure that the vehicle was properly secured. When he got my vehicle home, he skillfully backed it in and dropped it in a very tight space. This guy is really good at what he does, and does his job with pride and a great attitude. I actually enjoyed the hour and a half ride home with him. Great customer service!

During my commute to work from North Wilkesboro to Sparta last night my tire came off of my Jeep. I knew it would have to be towed so I call J&J garage and spoke with Tabitha and explained where I was at and what had happened, she was very sweet and had someone on the way within a few minutes. T.A the driver was there within a reasonable amount of time. He was very polite and understood that I was already late to work. He loaded my jeep and since I was only a few miles away from work he was sweet enough to drop me off at work and tow my jeep back to Wilkes for me. I am very satisfied with the service I received and would recommend J&J garage to anyone. They were there for me when I was in a bind. Thank you so much J&J garage for all your help.

Y'all really should have a negative rating for scam artists. J/J Towing asked for it. First call to AAA was at 8 a.m. ... J/J responded at 2 p.m. Five minutes later ... tow truck driver was "afraid" to come down a dirt road that I had just driven. It's all ice ... he said, no, I said, I just drove down it. He says too much liability to drive the road (insurance anyone?) AAA calls to tell me there isn't another route for the scared driver. I sent them the GPS info and they relay the info to the coward so he can take main roads. At 3:30, he's now afraid that his 3-ton dually is too heavy to drive through � inch of snow. Huh? I'm standing at the end of the drive and see him with his truck ... 100 feet from my house taking a picture of the snow ... 10 feet of � inch snow in front of him and then 90 feet of asphalt and me standing next to my car waving at him. I then watch as he backs his truck up the neighbor's drive (full of � inch snow) and drives away. AAA calls minutes later to tell me the J/J service driver has filed his ticket (got paid). I complain to AAA saying the car is still in the road with a flat. Five minutes later a truly reputable local service provider -- Hampton's -- drives up the road (backs over the scary � inch of snow) and changes the tire in 10 minutes. Honest guy shows me a picture J/J sent to AAA about the scary ice and snow with me and my car in the frame. Oops. Hampton guy says it would have taken J/J driver two minutes to walk the scary distance with a jack to change the flat tire. J/J has a rep for pulling this nonsense ... drive to the site, claim they cannot reach the vehicle, then drive away with a AAA ticket and payment. Not this time. AAA has been notified and the J/J scam will be over soon. If you are in the High Country and need tow/wrecker service, demand AAA send a local service, Hampton's is the best in town, as opposed to these cowards, liars, and scam artists at J/J whose "business" is 40 miles away.

Amazing owners. The drivers are on time and work hard. I m so glad that I had the pleasure to meet one of their awesome drivers today. He could tell I was having a bad day and that I wanted it to be done and over with. He chatted with me calmly while he did his work and in the end I was smiling. Thank you Robert!!!!!

The young tow truck driver was super nice , besides the long wait to get the tow . But he did what he was supposed to. The worst issue is don t even try to get a receipt or contact for paper after service is charged , have been contacting the company by email, calls and text all over 3 times I ve done all for 3 weeks and can t simply get a receiptService: Car towing

Well I wasn t sure where to go with the stars. I wish I could give two reviews. Let s start with the good...the driver was great. Super nice guy. Offered to tie my new Jeep down with straps instead of chains even though it took him longer. Just seemed to take pride in doing a good job. I can t say I m as happy with the company he works for. I had to ride in the truck to the dealership almost an hour away and there isn t any air condition in this big diesel truck. Also the passenger mirror was shattered and the drivers mirror was completely gone! How can someone safely tow cars and they can t even see what s behind them. I saved the best for last...the right front tire was almost completely bald! So your hauling a 4 door wrangler on a huge rollback, you can t use your mirrors because they are gone, and it s raining and your tires are slick. If this company wants s to let their trucks fall apart that s one thing but you have to keep them safe and road worthy. I am a saw certified mechanic and I do inspections at work. We would never pass a car in this shape. I guess the owner thinks since they work for aaa they will get business either way. But I ll be letting aaa know too I was not happy.

Called them on the phone to tow my car which was in North Wilkesboro. I live in Winston Salem so I called them 1 hour ahead and gave them the address in Wilkesboro. When I was in Wilkes I called them again to pick up the car and this man told me he would call me back in 2 minutes. Waited 30 minutes and he never called back, so I did and he would not pick up the phone. Even after an hour waiting there in the sun he wouldn't pick up the phone. Didn't even have the decency to tell me he couldn't do it. 5 hours passed and never got a call back. Ridiculous service and I warned every one I know about them. I'm giving them 1 star because I cannot give them 0. Pathetic.

My son locked my keys in the car at Stone Mountain Saturday. The driver showed up quick and was extremely friendly and polite. Got my keys out in less than a minute. Couldn't have asked for better service

Just had them tow me today. I called and they were out to get me picked up within 15 minutes. The driver made quick work getting the car loaded. The price was very reasonable.

Fastest and friendliest service in town with the best rates. I have had a lot of work done here and have no complaints. Everything was done accurately and in a timely manner. All the components fixed are still doing great. Wonderful work and people!

The driver was very nice and did a good job towing our vehicle to a garage. We thought we should check on it later in the day and it had been left unlocked. It was going to be there for two nights. Other than that we were pleased.

I'm still waiting for the driver to call me to tow my van.. it's has been 24 hours.. i call again and now an hour has passed. I understand it my be with another client, a call or text letting me know how long would of take to get to me would of be nice.

I give them one star because there is no choice for zero Stars. Pathetic. They actually cancelled my AAA call because "my road was too snowy." Seriously? I just drove my Camry, AND my 2-wheel-drive/REAR-wheel--drive 1996 mini-van up that road and you can't get a wrecker in there? There have been cars in and out of that road all day--some of them Florida drivers! Then their snitty "supervisor" got snarky with my on the phone, telling me "well we're just not doing it," and hung up on me. Hampton's Towing in Boone is far superior, but AAA has J & J locked in to Avery County.

Greatest towing service yet! Family owned! Great people, amazing time I got my car within 10 minutes and the workers were so friendly. Their drivers or ne will fight with you, if he's having a bad day, he was backing up with a car and my cat run across the road, she can't hear good and I went after her, he yelled, ( can't say what he said ) then backed up to me, I told him to watch out for my cat, and he jumped out of truck, good thing there was a cop near, who came running up, I'm a disabled veteran, and he was about 35, . He Totally Has No Respect For Older People!

I had a car in Moravian falls up on German town road they only charged me $40 to town it from there to my house in North wilkesboro they constantly stayed in touch with me and were very friendly and easy to get along with there was no hassle with these guys I fully 100% recommend these guys there awsome
