Car trouble on vacation landed us at Family Auto & Tire. They quickly diagnosed the issue, but didn t have the part in stock to do the repair. However, they referred us to their sister shop down the road and charged our battery enough to make the trip. Good people doing good business. Highly recommend.

My Honda Pilot blew a tire on I-40. AAA put on the spare , small tire. Noticed the nearest tire shop was 5 miles away. Family Auto & Tire Service were the closest. We re not sure they had this size tire but checking found that they had ordered 4 tires that fit for a future job 2 weeks away. They said they could do it since there was enough time to get another pair next week! They were quick in helping me get back on the road. Impeccable service!

Their car service is great and reasonable. Good friendly and family owned business. I highly recommend it for family, friends and anyone who needs car service I trust them for all my auto repairs. The repair shop is clean and organized. The waiting area is clean and comfortable.

These guys have been fantastic. We were rear-ended on vacation and our car totalled. Sam and Daniel were courteous, friendly, and very thoughtful toward my wife and I, especially as she was a little shaken up by the crash. Even the office cat was a sweetheart.The professionalism and generosity of spirit at this company was truly impressive and inspiring. These are solid guys.

They had exactly what I was looking for. Hard to find 44K without ordering it. People were super friendly and helpful. Even found this really neat piece of decor for the front porch for my husband. He loved it. They had more, go check them out!

Family Auto & Tire was amazing when we had a low tire pressure light come on during our drive home from vacation. They fit us right in and repaired a leaky tire valve and had us on our way within 1/2 hour. Thank you so much for the phenomenal service!!!

I know a couple of guys that work here, always seem friendly until now. Took my SUV in for a oil change and inspection. Inspection failed, and oil was done along with a quart of ATF that was not asked for. I drove 1hr to help out the place just to be treated badly. I was charged 66$ for oil and 1qt of ATF. The money isn't the problem it's doing work no one asked for. What if I didn't have the extra to spend? He would of kept my vehicle all for 15$ of ATF. this is a bad problem. Leaking or not now I have a unusual sound that I have to trace. Please go else where. Definitely not a happy person.

Tire pressure light came on while my teen was driving alone on I-40. Naturally, she freaked out a little. I called Family Auto & Tire and they were absolutely awesome. My teen was able to drive the car straight to them since she was right by their exit. One of the technicians checked the tires right away. Turned out the car has a faulty tire pressure sensor. The service was outstanding and invaluable to me because they took the time to help my teen who was driving alone an hour away from home. Thank you!

Driving back from Vacation on a Monday morning and stopped for gas at the shell. When starting the car my tire pressure light popped on so I checked out the tires and had a big nail sticking out. Lucky for me these guys were right across the road. They had the tire patched and we were back on the road in less than an hour. The baby played with the sweet shop cat while we waited. Thank you!

Friendly customer service, quality work and reasonable prices. I have gotten my camper tires and utility trailer tires from them, and will continue to go back because the owner won't sell no junk.

My son's truck broke down on his way home from UNC-W and I had it towed to this garage and am so thankful that I did! They had to replace the water pump and timing belt and since I am 1.5 hours away, Keith (the owner) met me there the evening it was ready. He explained the repairs twice before he made the repairs and made sure I understood the cost. He was very honest and professional. If he weren't so far from me, I'd take all my vehicles there. If you are ever in that area and need a good, reliable, trust worthy mechanic, I highly recommend this place!!

We were on our way happy as a peach to go fishing at topsail. And then our tire decided to explode on the interstate. We put are almost flat spare on and limped to the near gas station to get air in when we stumble on this gem. They were totally awesome and worked with us to get a new tire quick and keep us on our way to go fishing.

We had car trouble on our way home from the beach and stumbled upon this place because we didn't have any other choices. The alternator died in the parking lot and we were worried we'd be stranded in Newton Grove overnight. The staff were incredibly friendly and easy to talk to and we left 2 hours later with a new alternator! Record time, fantastic service, and a price that would be unheard of where we live near Chapel Hill. I wish this place was closer to us and we could make it our primary auto shop. Seriously considering driving an hour and a half back there if we need car repair again.

When my alternator died on US 40 we were stranded. Keith answered the phone even though they were closed on Saturday afternoon. He picked us up,called the parts store for a new alternator then installed it himself. Recharged the battery and we were on our way. I know they cant do things like this for everyone but we were happy to know there are people like Keith. Hardworking honest helpful. Thank You!

My A/C compressor went out on my way to the beach. It froze up and had to be replaced on the spot. They were able to get me in immediately and had it replaced before the end of the day. Great people and service.

Keith was awesome helping me get my moms car fixed up right. He didn't even do work on it, he told me how to get the job done and I did it. Next time I need a real mechanic, it will be Keith and his family, who run the shop.

I had called them with only two questions and I was given an attitude by the man who answered , the other times I had called this place I was talking to a lady who was nice . I just would like to say if your closed just say ma am/sir we are closed if you would can you call back tomorrow plz not what I was given.

Crazy person cut us off on the highway while driving to the beach. Slamming on brakes caused us to flat spot the two fromt tires which made the car undriveable. Family Auto was the closest for us to limp to, and thankfully! They had the two new tires on, and us on our way in 25 minutes.

Had a flat on the side of 40. Got us in and out in 30 minutes. Friendly staff. Fair prices. If you need a service these guys are great.

made me feel intimidated, when i was in a vulnerable situation. just got it to an accident with my family where we almost died that was a single car accident and wasn't my fault as the state trooper stated. and they're weren't friendly, but at least he let me get my belongings from the car. but they didn't work with me with paying, i have no vehicle or am not made of money and they didn't accept a card over the phone that's understandable but giving my situation you think you'd have a little lenience.

Was in an accident and this shop picked up my 7 year old and I and sat with us at their shop until someone came to get us. Very nice and caring.

Really bad place, rude people and very disrespectful, they will ignore u until they get tire of you then will be rude, they don't want the businesses, hopefully the owner will see this review. Don't stop here, you will regret it!
