To Newport Motor Co. (Sammy/JD)I regret to invite you to listen and understand the duress and complications I have had since having my Mazda in your possession to rectify a transmission issue that occurred when a family member drove my car; then responsibly paid for it as it was their mistake.After taking - pardon - towing my car to multiple shops (paying each time, plus diagnostic fees at each shop) I m extremely disappointed in how you handled any information that wrong doings happened from the initial nearly $1,800 job being done. Right off the lot my cruise control wouldn t work - brought it back, you charged me for an extra part! (Always worked prior).After it failed again you said you d order the correct part I returned the original and the one I paid for (no refund for the part you kept after taking the second one back!?!).Car dies on the side of the road I contacted you first, to attitude of jobs done you claimed we got paid, so what do you want us to do?HOW DARE YOU. Absolutely disgusting that the first thing should have been I m sorry, let us tow it in and fix it, seems like something went wrong.I have since had my vehicle towed and paid to multiple locations and amounts accruing $800 in costs before I found the answer that my Clutch was improperly installed and was missing parts and my new Flywheel was loose. Informed not to drive I now am without a vehicle and by way of Sammy at Newport Motor Company, Jake, we re not touching your car, your parent s (who appropriately assumed the damage) paid the bill so we re not going to take it back. I suggest towing it to Mazda, however look, we got our moneys worth of work for what was done.They wouldn t disclose who worked on my vehicle and who created another $2,000 worth of damage by not doing the right thing the first time.Need help on what the heck to do.I would be more than happy for them to tow my car to their shop and let them rectify the situation and it would happily change my reviews.

I purchased a 2014 Honda Crosstour and not only did JD let it go below market value, it was the easiest buying process I've ever had. Furthermore, once we discovered the rotors were warped from the car sitting; JD and his staff replaced them at no labor cost to me. Honest and quality workmanship is hard to find but not when going here.

First time customer and I'm completely satisfied with the service. I had my tires replaced and got my State Inspection done at the last minute and they squeezed me in. They were up front and straight to the point. I will absolutely be recommending them to anyone who ask.

Just had an oil change and state inspection done here. First, the service was performed quickly and efficiently. The reason I felt compelled to write this review though is the customer service, both to me and what I witnessed while I waited. Sammy and JD treated each and every customer that walked through the door with such class and grace. It's really hard to find somewhere that treats you with this level of kindness and respect as well as offering reasonable prices. Never before have I been a "loyal" customer to any service center in the area, but that changed today!

I've never been more comfortable with a mechanic and I genuinely enjoy stopping by. The service is always above and beyond, the communication is excellent and JD and Sammy are incredibly polite every time. Thank you again for taking great care of me and my vehicles!!

Great family owned place! I had used them for car maintenance before without issue. Great service and prices. When I was shopping for a new car I stopped by. JD helped me and I was very impressed with him. He was just a stand up nice guy. Never pushy or anything. He was just so kind and fair. I bought a 2015 Dodge Journey that was FAR below value!! Amazing price! 2 Loan officers both told me it was a serious deal! It only had 79k miles! It was a very suped version of the model! The car was very nice and very good quality. I traded I my older model used and slightly abused car. He gave me a very fair trade in value for it. Honestly he gave me the exact number I wanted for it. Overall great experience and 100% would go again!

Outstanding!!! I purchased a car there and after a couple months, noticed a problem. I took the car in for a routine oil change and mentioned the issue to JD. He took my car in 3 times, ordering various parts, and worked until they fixed the problem! These days, you don t often find a car dealer that stands behind what they sell. Newport Motor Company Is one of a kind.Thanks, JD! I appreciate you.

Wife had a flat on Her 2016 Subaru . Sent her here because we are new to the area. I put the donut tire on the car my self by hand. Guy wrings a stud off and blames us saying it was cross threaded. I know it wasn't cross threaded. Wants us to pay to have it fixed. Bad business. Tried to take advantage of a woman. Beware!

Just had my entire front end replaced on my Tahoe and went to get an alignment and when I went to pick it up my steering wheel was still crooked, truck still pulled to the right and my wheels were nowhere even straight then charging me an additional $30 for some "alignment pins" that they first told me were bushings even though I just had everything replaced. I had to take it back to them the following day and as they followed up with me on the phone to tell my my truck was ready they told me to hurry because they were trying to finish up early. Horrible customer service I highly reccommend not taking your vehicle there for service

I have been a customer here since 1999. They have always been a great help to me and my family. We have bought two cars from here as well as all service on my family's vehicles. I would recommend Newport Motors to any and all who need a new car or just service work. Good people.
