We had a mechanical problem with our BMW X5 while traveling to the Atlantic Beach. George patiently and accurately diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts from BMW, and fixed the issue quickly as promised. While waiting for the parts to arrive, George took care of a few maintenance items like break fluid flush and changing the air and cabin filters as well. I dropped the car off on Monday morning and the car was ready by Thursday afternoon. George drives an European car too and he knows how to fix them!

George helped us get out of a jam when my Father-in-law s Volvo had a mechanical issue upon arriving to the beach (approx 400 miles from home). George quickly identified the issue and fit us into his busy schedule. He kept us updated throughout the process had the car running perfectly within 24 hours. Professional, courteous, and fair! George has worked on my Porsche 911 a couple of times now and has performed very nice work. Shifting issue was the first problem he resolved. 6 speed manual shifts beautifully now. IMS bearing replaced successfully on the second visit, along with scheduled service items for 45,000 miles. Always professional and knowledgeable. I'm a loyal customer to George after he diagnosed and fixed a problem that the dealership could not fix. Not only does he take care of my routine maintenance, but he also went out of his way when I lost my gasoline tank cap. Not only did George loan me a cap, he also advised me on how to prevent water from getting into my tank. He had the new cap [the last one manufactured with an attachment to the gas cap door] to me in less than 24 hours. George does high quality work at a fair price. I highly recommend him.

George is an outstanding, professional and honest mechanic that will tell you in detail what the problem is and what needs to be done to get you back on the road. I was taking my Mercedes to Wilmington, N.C. for many years until a friend of mine told me about George at Advanced Auto. He was thoroughly pleased with his work, professionalism and honesty and so was I when my car went down. Look nowhere else for your auto needs!!! George is honest, fair, kind and does great work! I am a young girl who knows nothing about cars. I moved to NC and took my car somewhere else to get an oil change and my car began leaking oil. I took it to George. He not only told me what the problem was, he took out the cracked oil pan and showed it to me, and it fixed it in a very timely manner. He even offered to call the other shop who made the mistake and discuss the issue with them and advocate for me. He now has a customer for life, and he remembers you when you call and when you are there. It seems like he really cares about you, your car, and your experience. If you are looking for someone who is reliable and more of a personal experience and who you can trust and feel confident in to work on your car, look no further.

Great experience! George got my Mercedes in and out in a timely manner. He took the time to explain the problems with my car, great communication. I ll definitely return to Advanced Automotive instead of driving an hour and a half to the Mercedes dealership.

I brought my car to this guy because he was an "expert" in European cars. What that apparently means is an expert in assuming people who own Euro cars are MORONS who will pay anything to fix their expensive cars. WRONG! I brought my car in because there were issues with one of the systems, he looked it over and gave me a price that seemed expensive. I was new to the area and didn't know who else to bring my car to, and his website leads you to believe he is very professional and knowledgeable about the cars he works on. This is either not the case, or he is overcharging his customers. I confirmed with my mechanic back home who used to work on my car, as he worked exclusively on my make of car. He felt that George's price was far too high as well. I was quoted by George over $1,200 for the repair, and my mechanic tried giving him the benefit of the doubt in assuming that this price was for a NEW part all together, not to send my part for repair. I went back to George and asked him what exactly he was going to do, if it was replacing the broken component or getting this one repaired (which would solve the problem permanently) and George said it was simply to repair it. I asked for a breakdown on what that price he quoted me included and he got a little huffy about it, but said that sending it out would be $800 on its own, with the other $400 being for labor. At this point I declined my car being serviced at Advanced Automotive and took it elsewhere. I sent the part out myself and received overnight return shipping from the company that repaired it. Cost? $99. I had a new mechanic remove and replace the part after it was repaired. Labor? $100. So total cost for this was just under $200, which George had quoted the EXACT same work to be $1,200 that is a $1,000 profit! I will certainly NEVER be taking my car back to Advanced Automotive of the Crystal Coast, and since I made my decision to bring it there to begin with from the reviews of others, I hope that someone else gains some perspective from my review. Very shameful to do business this way....

George has always been fair & honest- he does excellent work at fair prices. All of these are rarities in today's world. No matter what foreign car I own, I will take it to Advanced Automotive of the Crystal Coast for any repair work.

My wife gets work done there on her GLK 350, and never once have I felt as though George has tried to take advantage of her with his estimates. Great work for sure. Trustworthy dude.

This was my 2nd attempt at the same repair, and Advanced nailed it! Their advice to use factory replacement parts instead of after market, cheaper, parts, finally fixed my Jaguar. Advanced delivered on time, and with complete satisfaction.

Refused to fix a computer issue because of a body issue that has absolutely nothing to do with what needs to be fixed literally one wire hook up and erase the computer codes and have a perfectly running vehicle but now have to have it towed again to another location costing more money very disappointed
