My husband, 2 dogs, 2 cats and I camped at Wiseman Ridge Oct 23rd thru 30th 2023 and we all just absolutely loved being here!! It was so very peaceful and we had absolutely beautiful mountain views!!!We camped on site #3 in a 40ft Coach with 4 slide outs towing a full-size Nissan truck on a flat bed trailer which all fit on this gorgeous graveled campsite right on top of the Ridge!! We even had room to spare! Our campsite included 50 amp Full hookup, strong WiFi, nice picnic table and an awesome rock firepit. As requested we called 20 minutes before arriving and the owner Eric was waiting for us at the entrance. He graciously helped us unload our flat bed and truck from the coach then escorted us to our beautiful site. It's apparent that the owners had put a lot of time, effort and thought into making this a special place for people to enjoy. I hope we will be lucky enough to stay here again in the future!Next time we will be sure to visit the Linville Winery early enough to listen to Eric's band play

My SO & I stayed in our RV for 5 days and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end ! The host was mowing and doing upkeep when we arrived and was very welcoming and helpful !! It was Clean, great Space and quiet! We enjoyed the beautiful stars and moon ! There was no issue with getting up the driveway /hill. We were able to enjoy many hikes/caverns and restaurants all within 30 min :)Highly recommend staying here

My husband and I just left from 3 nights at Wiseman Ridge and we loved it. We stayed on site 3 and could have gotten another small TT on that site if needed. The views were outstanding and the campground was quiet. Full hookup was nice and the WiFi was perfect and needed because of poor Verizon cell reception. Eric, the owner, called us when we were on the way to give us some tips because of temporary road closures and he escorted us to our spot when we got there. He also provided recommendations about hiking and mountain biking in the area as well as some of the local vineyards. Our dogs enjoyed their time there as well, perhaps because it was so quiet and open. Wiseman Ridge makes our top 3 places that we ve camped. We will definitely be back.

Spent a week on site #4. Great location very close to an entrance to the Blueridge Parkway. Campground is full hookup and fast wi fi. Cell phone service is ok for calls and text but not reliable for streaming and other data. We tried both T-Mobile and a Verizon hotspots with same results. The campground Wi-Fi was excellent and allowed us to work remotely. This campground is ideally located on a ridge top with gravel drives and parking pads. No crowds and peace and quiet. We really enjoyed this place and intend to return. Ingles grocery stores within 20 minutes in Spruce pine or Newland. We camped here in a 30 ft. travel trailer. Owners are very accommodating and friendly people!

Owner was very accommodating and had excellent communications. We went over type of RV and vehicle ahead of time but the driveway and camp sites were all very well kept, clean and very quiet. We had a 21ft toy hauler towed by a Jeep Gladiator and had no issues at all. ATT is okay for calling but data is spotty in the entire area but the available Wi-Fi at the RV park helped with this. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back again.

AMAZING! What a hidden gem. Extremely large, private sites with breaktaking views multiple directions! So so so quiet and peaceful up there. Hosts were more than accommodating and able to answer or help with any question we had. Best campsite on the parkway hands down

A great small and quiet new place to rest for a night or more in your RV . The friendly owners pay particular attention to the small details that make this place special and very pleasant
