Absolutely the worst customer service I ve experienced in a very long time. I booked a Uhaul truck rental for a 1pm pickup, showed up at 12:40pm and the doors were locked. So I called the one 800 number guy said he ll be here at 2 PM. I said I had a 1 o clock pick up time and he said not my problem. I ll be there at 2 PM. Canceling my order!

Homeboy threatened to call the cops on me because of a mistaken e alert on my Uhaul account. This occurred as he was simultaneously trying to sleaze his way out of providing the title on a vehicle that another customer was interested in buying. Quintessential sleazy used car dealer vibe from this guy. It was kind of an amazing experience in some respects.Edit in response to owner's response: I called U-Haul immediately and they were stunned that there was a threat to call the cops -- definitely not company policy/instructions.

Sid runs the place and isn't someone I would work with again. I can only assume he knowingly lied about the mechanical condition of the vehicle I was interested in. I took him on his word, placed a $1000 (nonrefundable) deposit and then waited. And waited. And waited some more. Multiple excuses as to why the vehicle wasn't ready by the most recent date he scheduled. Whether those reasons were legit or not is kinda irrelevant... So finally the day comes when he says the car is ready and doesn't change the date so I purchase expensive last minute tickets $$$ and fly out from central Texas to his lot in North Carolina. Once I arrive, I naturally ask to take it for a test drive. It was at this point that he mentions that he took the vehicle for a test drive the previous day and on the way home the check engine light came on... Again, highly unlikely but irrelevant now. The body is ok but not anywhere near the condition he or the photos had me believe. Despite all this we took it for a test drive and we were ultimately disappointed. Vehicle fell flat on its face and underwhelmed in every mechanical category. In the end we had to pay even more for transportation back home as the vehicle we planned on was buying was not the vehicle we were met with. Quite frustrating and expensive experience. All in all I lost the $1000 deposit and another $1000+ in travel expenses...not to mention the 3 days in nonstop travel. I hate to only state negative despite my overwhelming negative experience. The receptionist and dogs were really nice and the fall scenery thought the Eastern states was a nice change from central Texas. Lesson from the experience, don't trust a used car salesman unfortunately.

Sold us a car that required a major repair (over $3,000), forged my signature on documents, refused to acknowledge or assist in repairing the vehicle - and we aren t the first they have ripped off. Stay far, far away from this dealership.
