For the past 4 months I've been trying to get my tires rotated. Mr. White has more excuses then a man going to jail. Its the end of the month, its the beginning of the month, its Monday, its lunch time, I have a hang nail. I bought the tires a year ago..spent upwards of 700.00 for 4 brand new tires. He sings bring it in any time for rotation. That has not been my experience. Now he's short handed...and that's my problem cause WHY???!!! He says drop the car off..I dont know when I'll get to it. Who does business like that? When I was spending money there was ALL KINDS OF TIME..SIT DOWN ENJOY THE TV AND AQUARUIM ..NOW ITS LEAVE IT..i'LL CALL YOU IN A FEW HOURS OR THE NEXT DAY. He'll NEVER get my business or any of my friends business. His shop is literally around the corner from me. He can kick rocks.

Paid 715.00 for a set of Uniroyal tires... they were very noisy tires. I finally brought New Tires from another tire company now my vehicle have a smooth comfortable quiet ride. And i was stuck with 4 noisy tires sitting in my garage... the worst thing about my situation is that I have had tires put on 3 other vehicles from Whites tires with no issues, they have certainly lost my business...I didn't read the reviews on whites tires because they had treated us good in the past. I was really disappointed, never going back.

I have lived here for about three years and in those years I have tried to find the most reliable and honest service when it comes to my vehicle. Whites was convenient due to being within proximity to my job. I have had several services done at White s from new tires, tire rotations, oil changes, and other maintenance and was significantly disappointed with the way I was treated recently. I fully believe I was taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge of my own vehicle and being a young woman. I brought my car in to White s to have the alignment looked at due to hearing a louder noise when traveling at higher speeds. I was told that the tires I purchased from White s legitimately 13 months ago needed to be replaced because the alignment had ate at the tire. I asked about the warranty on the tire and was told it would not be honored due to the condition of the tires being caused by a bad alignment. I question why this was not brought up during one of the three oil changes (and subsequent tire rotations) I had completed at White s over the course of the year, and did not receive an answer. I questioned if though I was charged for an alignment when I purchased all four tires if this had actually occurred. I was simply told it would be $500 for the new tires I needed. I took my car to another shop in town who has told me the tires are not nearly as bad as I was told, and do not need to be replaced but only aligned. I will let you do what you wish with that information but I will not use White s for any service again. **EDITED TO ADD: I just picked up my car and they stated my tires HAVE NEVER been rotated. There were never any marks on the factory parts. White s never aligned anything prior to putting the new tires on.

This was my first time here. They treated me with honesty and decency, and that s not an easy thing to find these days. When you have an older car, that honesty and decency is pretty important. I thought I had a major problem with my tire. They could have said yea it was pretty bad and it cost a couple hundred to fix it. Turned out to be nothing and they only charged me 25$ for labor. Thankful they re so close to where I live. I will definitely go back for vehicle maintenance and fixes.

I would not recommend this place. Very unprofessional. I Dropped off my car for an alignment for almost 2.5 hrs. Didn t contact me when my car was done, I walked in and the guy said it just got finished. Which I m ok with it. Drove the car home, I noticed the steering wheel is off to the right so I went back. The front guy told me I m gonna have to wait another 1-2 hrs because they can t realigned it now. So I asked what about the next day available appointment because I don t want to wait, he said to drop off in the morning and they will call me when my car is done. He also said they don t take appointments because of Friday. Then I asked what about available appointments for the next week? Then, He just told me next Tuesday 8:30am without looking up anything. I will not go back there to fix my alignment, I m going somewhere else to redo my alignment.

Went in for vehicle alignment and was told to leave vehicle, they'd fit it in. After explaining I couldn't leave it, I would be waiting for it, was told they didn't know when they'd get to it. I asked ok, when do you think you can to it? I was told to bring it back at 8:30am the next morning and they could do it. To me, that sounds like a scheduled appointment for service at 8:30am. When I arrived this morning at 8:30am, I was met by the same guy who stated you're dropping off the vehicle for alignment. I said no, I'm waiting for the vehicle for alignment. He proceeded to say he thought he cleared that up yesterday that I couldn't wait for my vehicle because he only had one bay for alignments and had a lot ahead of me. Why tell me to be there at 8:30am!

I tried calling to see how much a mount and balance for 2 tires would cost, well instead of answering the phone or let the vm get it they answered the phone and hung it up immediately never got to talk to anyone. Called again about 10 mins later and of course it was the same. So i gladly took our business elsewhere!!

I wanted a alignment on my CLK 320 Mercedes. I pray for God to Lead Me. So I ran into this place that was clean on the inside and outside, like my car is. They left the paper work in the cat seat to show the work done; drives wonderfully. BUT, I HAD TO COME AND GET IT, HE NEVER CALLED ME. BUT IT WAS WORTH THE MONEYTHX

The guys at Whites are awesome. Prices are routinely much less than any car dealership around. Never need to wait to have tires ordered and things are done quickly. Will always come back.

These guys are great. My husband and I have been using them for about 8 years. I am actually going to pick up my van today. I thought I needed an alternator, when all i needed was a battery. Our vehicles are old, but paid for, and we want then running for as long as possible. There is no one we trust more than Whites. I would recommend them to anyone, they do great work, and stand by everything they do.

We have been using White's Tire Service for years! Great service and reasonable prices! Never have I been pressured to buy or replace anything on my car. Sammy is very honest and the customer service is outstanding! I highly recommend!!

Such a nice experience.... he recommended the perfect tires for my car, did the alignment, and my state inspection in less than 2 hours. I will go back next time my car needs anything.

Straight up honest people. From 2007 to present I have never had a problem. Fair price, good and efficient work. They have kept my girl, as old and tired as she is, moving right along. From oil changes to timing belt change they have it covered. This family owned business has been around so long for a reason. Good work at a fair price is hard to find.

Excellent service and fair, competitive pricing. Weary of car repair shops but came highly recommended by another local detailing business so I decided to give White s a try.. showed up with a rather extensive job on my Jeep (brakes, rotors, calibers, bunch of other issues) owner/manager was very proactive throughout the process.. gave me status updates while I was waiting also instead of just rattling off the necessary repairs he took the time to explain which repairs were imperative and ones that could be done at a later date to accommodate my budget and worked with me on price. Furthermore, his crew worked through their lunch break until well after 330pm in an effort to expedite the job and provide the utmost customer service experience. Genuine, down home business.. no wonder why they ve been in business for generations. Definitely recommend.

Love this place. This is where we usually buy tires from. Good, fair price. They do our inspections, tire rotations, they've fixed my air conditioner as well. They do a great job. No complaints. Friendly, fast service.

I have taken my car here a few times and each time made me feel like I was an inconvenience to the owner. He was never very nice, didn't really look at me and spoke rather rudely. The price for the cheap tire I got was okay. You get a lifetime tire rotation with what I bought, so I came back...from Charlotte, mind you...every now and then when I was in New Bern to get them rotated. After having to deal with him, I didn't bother any more. Plus, I had alignment issues after they rotated them.

I was very unhappy with the cleanliness... Went in for oil change.. the technician left fingerprints of oil on front seat of vehicle... On the steering wheel of vehicle..... A known folder in my console... Very disappointed with the cleanliness

These guys are awesome. Very reasonable prices and quick friendly service. I came in at 430 needing a tire put on a rim and they stopped what they were doing to help me out before they closed. This is why I only deal with whites tire.

Had almost every repair done to my car here it is a great place with great people. Prices are fair and get pretty much everything done within a day. Needless to say they work fast!

I recently purchased tires from Whites tire Center of New Bern and was very pleased with the price of the tires the speed with which the new tires were installed and the courtesy that I was extended while I was at Whites Tire Center. I was also very attentive to how other customers were treated while I was waiting for my tires to be installed and this was because of some of the reviews I had read I found nothing but positives to take away from this experiance.

We rely on White's for most of our auto repairs and they have done good work for us. They get us in and out for a fair price. I would definitely recommend them to friends.

Took my car here to get it inspected a few years ago. They tried to tell me that it would take them four or five man hours to replace a running light bulb on the side of the headlight that it needed to pass. Sounded like a ripoff to me so I told them no and that I'd do it myself. It ended up costing less than a dollar and took me literally 20 seconds to do, didn't have to do anything more than pop the hood. After reading some other reviews it looks like I'm not the only one. I'll never trust them again and you probably shouldn't either.

Just came back from having my car inspected at Whites. We have been using White to service all our cars for years and have always been pleased with the work that was performed whether it was a complex problem with a steering wheel clutch or something as simple as al oil change. In all cases Whites has stood by the work performed.

Took car in to White's Tire to have a TPMS sensor replaced. They were told which tire needed the new sensor and that we would program later. We could never get the sensor to program when we got home. Ordered another sensor thinking that one must have been faulty. Took my car to Family Tire in James City and they replaced my sensor and gave me the old one they removed. Well wouldn't you know...they gave me the old one White's never replaced. Whites charged me $20 for the install and kept my $40 sensor. FYI - Family Tire only charges $10. When confronted with their mistake, the front desk guy said he personally helped change the sensor and it was the only one with a metal stem. Of course it was the only one with a metal stem, I was holding it in my hand because Family Tire removed it from my car! Could absolutely tell he was lying! I caution anyone from using this place for any type of work!

I will NEVER EVER EVER take my car to White's Tire Service again!!!So on Friday I noticed a bubble in my tire, I take it there to get a used tire thinking everything is fine now; so today Wednesday I went to get my oil changed somewhere else and they take me to my car to show me the same tire I JUST got Friday and the whole thing looks like it about to fall apart come to find out I payed $50 for a used dry rotted tire! So when called they had the nerve to ask did I have a blow out and there was nothing they could do about it!! Mind you this is the same vehicle I commute back and forth to Greenville every week and the same vehicle I carry My 3 year old son around in everyday.. so I have to wait for something bad to happen to get a refund?? Or to get answers on why I was sold a tire dated from 2008?

I have a 2006 Vue The engine had to be completely rebuilt. I have not had any trouble with the engine and I am very pleased with the work that was done on my car. I would recommend White's Tire to anyone that needs mechanic work and tires.

If I could rate them less than 1 star I would. I came in with a bad alternator on a 1998 Lincoln Town Car. Whites charged me $750. I didn't know any better at the time. Do NOT go to whites. They are not honest.
