First I called Valvoline on glenburnie to ask about an oil change and inspection. The guy who answered was the inspection tech and specifically stated i can come there and get the inspection at that moment without issue. I went to this valvoline though because they were closer and I called the wrong one.When i arrive the guy says no body can do inspections because the whole system is down to Raleigh. When i explained that 10 minutes prior i was told by the other store they could do it he insisted no one could do them. So i left then went to another business entirely and got my oil change and the inspection less than 20 minutes later.I won t come back to this store. I also notice that there is a review with the EXACT same story from a month ago . It sounds like someone just doesn t want to do inspections to me .You would think with me being the only car there they would want the business, but oh well.

Be sure you verify they did all the things that come with the oil change and verify all services on your receipt too. They charged me extra and tried to send me out without providing the full service stated on THEIR website, then I was told I would be charged if I asked for an update copy of my receipt verifying what all they did and/or didn't do. Great prices though, could be better as long as they do what they offer without customers having to ask step by step.

Inspection lift was down on glenburnie told to come to the M.L.K. location. Called before arrival to confirm inspections could be done. Arrived at the location said the computers were down and couldn t provide service and that I didn t phone this location. Wasted gas and no services could be provided.

New management team at the MLKB store and they are doing great. Knowledgeable Service Technicians. Also, Valvoline Oil and filters used so you get what you payed for!

Adequate place for changing oil and servicing automobiles. Unfortunately the prices are getting extremely expensive. Locally, I pay $65.00 for synthetic oil and tire rotation. The only reason I use their services is for convenience.

Went to the MLK location in new bern twice. The first time they used the wrong oil. The second I had my tires rotated and balanced and had to put air in them 2 weeks later, because they never balanced them. But they charged me for the service. They also said my cabin filter was dirty. It was new, and was charcoal based, it said dark anyway. Bad business!!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

I get my oil changed here pretty much exclusively. Fast and convenient. However the last oil change I had I noticed the female tech taking her phone flashlight and repeatedly looking down in my engine . I wondered why but no one said anything was amiss so I didn t think more of it. A couple of days ago my neighbor was checking my brake fluid and found that the cap to my coolant reservoir tank was missing. I have never had one pop off ever in my lifetime. If it did happen here the worst part is I was not told about it and would not have known had my neighbor not opened my hood. Not good.

Noah and Nick were amazing. After being jerked around all day at lazy shops for an inspection I figured I'd try here and was not disappointed. I was greeted outside upon pulling up and my needs were met plus more. I highly recommend this place if you want quick thorough service

Technicians didn't seem very competent. First they didn't have my cars' filter, so I went and bought one. Then they couldn't get the drain plug off my VW and started to strip it because they weren't using the right tools. Ended up being unable to change my oil, but they did refund me the filter cost and didnt charge me for labor. Seemed like they had never worked on a VW before. I cant be the only VW in town! Mr Tire next door got my oil drain plug off just fine and oil changed quick.

Professional. Follows Corporate rules. Clean, neat, friendly knowledgeable staff. Honest and shows concerns for your vehicle, safety standards and the customer. My only reason for not given them a 5 is because of their integrity and thoughtfulness, I haven't used their services, I definitely will for my next oil change.

This is my favorite oil change place. They re always friendly. I went in for a change because it had been over 2 years. They told me I still had over 2 thousand miles to go and I didn t need a change. The age of the oil was fine.

Fast and professional! After being turned down and told come back Saturday for service from a local dealerhip, I chanced upon this hidden jewel. They took me right in. 3 bays, no wait. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Didn't even have to get out of my vehicle. They are full service as well, tire rotation, flushes, filter change etc. They showed me what was needed and what was recommended based off mileage but were not pushy at all. They have a double check method to make sure quality is kept. Price was less than quoted by check out. Attendant was even nice enough to tell me he could say a prayer for my sick mother I was visiting in the hospital. Top notch. I will be back.

The folks here are super fast, super friendly and always doing a great job. Even when I had what I thought was an issue, they explained it, helped me troubleshoot and recommended services for what I needed. Not just throwing stuff on for the heck of it. Really great job, I will go out of my way to be serviced here exclusively!

Super helpful staff. Quick service with good quality and helpful recommendations. Trustworthy location there in New Bern. I'll go back for sure. They helped by providing a discount as well given the number of services I needed quickly, and they were very kind and straight forward.

This easily deserved a 5. Went for an oil change got a straight shooting answer about potential problems wrong with the vehicle. Suggested best places around to get a diagnostic. Even told us that there were things they could replace and that we could go else where and do it for cheaper and would show us how to do it. This place a the epitome of quality and honest service. On top of all of that they gave us a 15% discount to wait for a part that we ordered through them on the spot.

Went to this place for a N.C. inspection today and was asked by the manager to leave the registration on the dash and the keys in the car, and they would pull it in. They complete the inspection in 5 minutes (good) but lose my registration card (bad!) Seriously? How can you lose a registration in 5 minutes?? I didn't even get an apology for the inconvenience of me having to go to the DMV to get a replacement. Terrible customer service.

Took my granddaughter there for an oil change for her car. She was at my house and when she was leaving the oil was all over my driveway. I called the next morning and talked to Donta the manager. He came to my house to check it out and found the new filter was put on incorrectly. He fixed it and filled the oil up. No leaks now! I had an oil change here on my wife's car before vacation. I'm incredibly lucky that nothing went wrong while driving on the interstate. I was home less than 3 days before a neighbor pointed to a stain on the driveway.....they didn't tighten the drain plug, and I suspect that they didn't change the crush-ring (which functions as a gasket on these newer cars drain plugs). There's nothing I hate more than paying for a service and then having to go back, undo everything they did, and redo it the right way.....but that's what I'm going to do to make sure that they didn't screw up a brand new car any more than they did.
