Rivertown Auto is like having a brother that is a mechanic. They are knowledgeable and reasonable. I have had a lot of work done here from inspections to tires to wheel bearings and more. They treat everyone the same.

All the way around good service. I had a state inspection done, I'm an inspector myself so I did a pre-inspection. They did not try to sell me something I did not need and they did not try to lie to me and say something was wrong with my car. They were nice courteous and kind, the man who inspected my card didn't even move my seat because he didn't want to upset me out of pure workmanship habit.

My go to place for pull changes and tires. I can get them free at Toyota but who has time to wait for . Marty and David are quick and efficient. They are also very knowledgeable about all makes and models of cars. Their repair prices are very reasonable as well. I brought a used tire from this place and it busted while I was driving my car. The owner told me to come and let him look at it. When I went and let him see the tire he was laughing at what I was saying and thought everything was funny. They are very unprofessional, which the wife acted like she had my best interest. Don t shop here they are poor customer service.Service: Tires

Needing new tires and state inspection, the process was smooth and professional from walking in the door to driving off the lot. The person behind the counter was knowledgeable in explaining the different options and the work was done quickly and efficiently. All this with the best prices around! Highly recommend.

Awesome people very fair pricing and more tires than you can shake a stick at all with great prices. Tell em Joe and Amelia sent you!! In all seriousness these folks have really kept us on the road without breaking us which is super important these days and they are honest and to the point no " well you see your this and that was off and I fixed this" they get you safe back on the road and give you a prioritized run down of what u need to get done next time or the time after that.

This shop is running by a man who's very down to earth, Friendly and knowledgeable. I had my car inspected there and had some work done on my vehicle and I was quite pleased by the whole experience.

Great experience! Had an un-plugable large screw in side wall - Was in town for a sporting event with only 30 mins to spare. They not only had the exact make/size tire I needed; they had it installed in 15 mins! Tire looks brand new and was 80% cheaper than a new one!

I needed a car inspection and this is the place to go. Located only 15 minutes from my house, I arrived and was told the price. Very cheap and they took my car in right away. 30 minutes or less later I was driving home. I would highly recommend as they do good work and are nice.

My husband and I were down from NJ, had rented a U-Haul trailer from a different location in Aurora, NC. We spent over 2 hours at the initial location attempting to pick up the trailer, to be told there was nothing they could do and we had to call UHaul. During the 1.5 hours I spent on hold trying to get to the department I needed. I google searched for the UHaul locations and found River Towne Tire & Auto Service. It was confirmed that they had the trailer size we had reserved, they took our reservation number and began working on transferring our reservation to them. It was around a 30 min drive to get back to River Towne, BUT WELL WORTH IT. I was in and out and hooked up to the trailer in what seemed like 10 mins. Come to find out, the initial problem with the first location seemed to be the individual did not know how to read out of state driver's licenses. My information had been manually entered wrong and was not matching my DL. This was quickly resolved by River Towne.Our first experience with River Towne was so painless that when we had to return the following weekend and needed another UHaul, there was NO QUESTION who we were going to.I wish I could give them 100 . They truly helped in a very stressful situation.

I ve taken my truck here religiously for the 4 years or so now for yearly inspection, each year it passed until this year, the same guy inspects in every time. This year my truck failed inspection because of window tint being to dark, to be clear I ve never put tint on this truck and the tint it has it came with from the dealership when I got it. The same guy has passed it for the last 4 years and now fails it and still charges me for the inspection .and said he never inspected my truck before or passed it ..they will no longer get my business ever.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Very expensive and I had to take to balance the tires after them for the bad work I think it would have gone the same to buy new ones.They also cut the screws of the center cap because they were very hard and the problem is not the cut screws but they scraped all the rin

Ridiculous wait. For 2 tires to change out on the rim (not even putting them on the vehicle) it took an hour. No updates on why or what was going on. Not a single person was there other than us. Lost customers and will make sure we spread the word.
