Bought my ranch hand brush guard here, they were 300$ less than anyone is the nearest towns. Arrived in one week after ordering straight out of Texas. Great place to do business on aftermarket bumpers.

Great service. Ordered a hitch through this store and during install discovered that the hitch was not designed for the truck. Mitch listened to the problem that I was having and called the hitch manufacturer and was able to find a hitch that was designed for the truck. He was able to next day the hitch to the store at no extra charge. Always friendly and helpful at this location. I will bring my buisness to Leonard for all future purchases due to their willingness to put the customer first. Great job Leonard!!

This is the second truck of mine that this company has installed a bed cover on a truck of mine. Would I do it again absolutely! These guys are very professional. I will have another truck in my future and they will be the ones I buy a cover from.

Have you ever seen a Vehicle like your own all dressed up and wanted yours to look like that? I so wanted in track window vents on my truck. The Guys at Leonard of New Bern, worked with me several times trying the in tracks but my truck said no way. I finally had to go with the stick on vents. They done an outstanding job on both the in track and the stick on vent, and were very patient during the whole process.

Had a problem with a non-working tail light on my vehicle and took it to my local Auto Dealer for repair/replacement. They diagnosed the problem and said it was due to the trailer harness installed by Leonard Trailer and wanted $250 to replace the harness with their own product.I declined because my trailer lights worked perfectly and I doubted their "diagnosis". However, they insisted that I owed them for their Diagnostic labor, and charged me $175 for that "Service".I had to pay it.So I took my vehicle back to Leonard Trailer and asked for their help. They immediately took the car into their shop,. removed the taillight and confirmed that their wiring harness as working fine and showed me where the actual problem was...in the OEM wiring of the vehicle. By the way, even though Leonard had installed their trailer harness 2 years ago and because this "tail light problem" on the vehicle just now occurred, it was obvious to me the problem was in the vehicle's wiring -- NOT their wiring harness.They offered to do a simple but effective "fix" to the vehicle's OEM wiring and charged nothing even though they had no obligation to fix someone else's problem.The problem was clearly with the vehicle wiring.The fact that the Auto Dealership insisted on charging me $175 to "diagnose" the problem (erroneously), and wanted another $250 for a new (unnecessary) part was very disappointing.A Big sincere "THANK YOU" to Leonard Trailer for coming to my aid and helping me resolve an erroneous and expensive charge for a problem caused by the Auto Dealer...and they didn't even charge a penny for their Service!These guys are honest and very Customer Oriented!!!It's a pleasure doing business with them!Jim H.New Bern, NC

Don and his crew installed a truck cap, a bed slide and a kayak rack on our Ram 1500 on 7 Jan 2020. They did an excellent job! This is the 2nd time we have used them for an install and the quality of work this time was just as good as the last time. We can recommend them without any reservations. In addition to quality workmanship we had to reschedule the work several times and they were very accommodating and worked well with us to update the install date. Again, an excellent experience.

I tried getting an application for a RTO trailer from the Morehead location most of the day but I felt like I was being put on the back burner. And seeing as I needed a trailer soon I called the Nee Bern location. The manager of the New Bern location was very kind and helpful. Within an hour or so I was in and out with the new trailer. I definitely plan on doing more business with the New Bern location from now on.

This is one of the best trailer places in New Bern you can count on Don is amazing and his workers and the other worker that started working 3 months ago he did very good with checking my plug in on my truck for the car trailer I got from them and Don I really do appreciate what you have done for me with the car trailer in two days I highly recommend Don and his crew do do all your needs on trailers and trucks and hook up

Great job displaying truck toppers and detailing the differences between each. Purchased the model I wanted and asked for it to be installed. The topper arrived, set up an appointment and had it installed. Very timely and professionally. I like truck gadgets and will return to this shop again. Highly recommend.

I paid $3100 for a Leer topper on my truck. I was also informed prior to purchasing the topper that all warranty claims court go through any Leer dealer. Once the topper arrived, it took three attempts by the staff at Leonard to install the topper. I spent multiple hours there and they showed zero confidence in what they were doing. After the first attempt, I drove the truck off the lot and got error codes that wouldn't go away. When they pulled the truck around for me, the would have seen these error codes but decided to tell me it was good to go anyways. When they informed me it was done the third time, the blinker wasn't working on my truck. They never found the root cause once it randomly started working again but left me with the not great sound of "just keep an eye on it". That is not what you tell a customer of you offer good customer service and quality work. Now, 4 months down the road, I have paint peeling from my expensive topper. I went to a different dealer since I have since moved and am being charged to handle the warranty work. This is not like a car warranty where you can take it from one dealer to the next. When I called Leonard, they did not sound surprised I would be getting charged by another dealer for warranty work. Something they should have disclosed since they knew I was moving. They went for the sale at all means necessary leaving me with a headache and more money being spent on a questionable product.

I purchased a custom top for my new Silverado a year ago with custom racks for kayaks and was very happy with the service and quality of Don and his crew as well as the product itself.Last week while returning from a short trip I encountered an issue with the back window of the cap which was going to require a 60 mile roundtrip at a later date to repair. I "dropped in" on Don and his crew on the way home and they were kind enough to fit in the repair while I waited.Their friendly personal and high quality service was much appreciated. 6 stars if they were available!

Leonard's is the best place in New Bern to buy truck accessories. I recently had a spray-in bed liner installed in my truck and Ken made sure it got done quickly and correctly. If you want it done right, send it to Leonard's!My company gives Leonard's a lot of business, and Don and Ken always go out of their way to make my experience exceptional. I would highly recommend them for any truck accessory needs.P.S. These guys also sell high quality trailers and storage buildings.

I had side bars installed on my truck by Ken and Don at this shop. They greeted me with friendly hospitality and completed the job ahead of the estimated time frame. My truck looks excellent and Don even got water for my dog that joined me for the upgrade. Thank you Don and Ken for making me feel welcomed...Too often you go to specialty shops and they make you feel belittled, that was not the case at this shop. The shop sits off the main road in Havelock and there is plenty of parking space available. Pet friendly shop.

Had to have truck lifted in the back a few inches due to camper compressing the back end so bad. We went through lifting the back end up, measuring the amount of lift needed, and detailed the options.Based on pro/cons not just price the right decision was made. Love the look!Staff is very friendly and willing to provide you the time needed to ensure you get what you are looking for!

Extremely happy with the results of the Canopy Installation and Led Light Bars on my Vehicle. Ken took the time to show me examples of what options could be utilized for my canopy and examples of how they could be utilized down the road. His work (Team) is high quality right along with his Customer Service Skillset. Highly recommended!

Ordered a camper top from Leonard's along with a bed rug. They arrived within the time frame they projected. They installed them today. The product was exactly what I expected, in excellent condition and professionaly installed. Leonard's have a very satisfied customer. I highly recommend Leonard's and will purchase from them agaIn.

I purchased a cargo trailer here. Ken was very helpful and knowledgeable about the trailers and was great with the whole finance and buying process. He got the right ball on the right receiver for me too, so I didn t even have to mess with that. Great experience! Highly recommend this place.

A great place to shop. I bought a shed their, delivery was very professionally done.I bought sheds from Lancaster, Pa.This she was built better than any shed I have ever bought.Don and Ken we're great and stayed on top if my order for my shed.If your looking to buy a shed I would look there first, Ray Happy Customer!

I had some work done on a fitting a used Leer truck top to my pickup. During the install Don and the crew found some hidden issues and fixed them, on their own and without further charge. I would recommend them to anybody and am going back to have a brake light and wiring done. During my waiting time in the lobby I had the opportunity to hear Don talk with various customers who came in and who phoned. You can always tell when somebody puts the customer first, and Don always did.

Told them i wanted to back up to trailer and be able to pull it with 13 Ford Edge, hitch, wiring and ball mount etc. They confirm and quote me.Appointment setup to install hitch AND wiring. Wiring not in stock after they confirmed it was in.Wife sits there for 2 hrs for install of hitch only (they had said 1.5 - 2 hrs to do hitch and wiring). Ask to come back next week once the wiring is in (we declined)Hitch install looks sturdy and no issues with that (reason for a good rating). They leave white plastic sections on a black hitch which was put on for shipping purposes. Looks like glue on the hitch, stickers coming off. After waiting 2 hrs would expect them to at least wipe it down and take off stickers that are half way off.Price quoted did not include ball mount as mentioned on the phone with them. Would not recommend to others.

Excellent service even with a small trailer purchase. Individualized installation of brackets and tie downs for my husband's custom wheelchair. We trailered with ease from North Carolina to Wyoming and back. Compassionate professionalism, Thank you Don Batchelor and Staff!

Don @ Leonard's made stellar efforts, went above and beyond to repair our utility trailer for us on a time crunch. He made some things possible for us that wouldn't have been possible if he didn't care to make it happen. HIGHLY recommend, great service, great work, great people!

Had an issue with a BAK Revolver 2 Tonneau Cover where the vinyl top cover glue came loose and was separating in multiple places. Even though the covers was a little over 4 years old, Don went to bat for me with BAK to resolve the issue. BAK and Leonard s replaced the Revolver 2 Cover with a new one at no charge. Great customer support from both Leonard s and BAK.
