THE BLACK'S TIRE ON POLLOCK STREET IN NEW BERN IS THE VERY BEST!!! They really care about their clients and help them above and beyond any other mechanics shop I have ever used in my lifetime. Betty at the front desk is amazing and Talon, thr Manager, and his team are on top of it.Reasonable pricing and they have never overcharged me.

On my initial call to Blacks Tire, the employee was courteous and professional, and promptly answered my questions and guided me to a solution. Upon arrival I was treated respectfully courteously and professionally. My vehicle was quickly attended to and in no time I was out the door with positive results. I called ahead the day before to check on availability, and the girl I spoke to was courteous and helpful. When I brought my car in the following day, they were quick and did not try to oversell me on anything. I suspected I might need new rotors, but upon inspection, the technician expressed that I could go another year or so without replacing the rotors! It s always nice to feel like people aren t trying to take advantage of you, and all the staff was great.

Black s Tire Service on Pollock Street, New Bern is fantastic! The staff and the Customer Service including Betty are so professional! Matthew the mechanic did a great job in replacing U-Joints! I will always go to this place for all needs they can provide! Thank you Black s for everything that gives me peace of mind when traveling in my Land Rover!

I've been taking my car to Black's for some time. They are fast and reasonably priced. Customer service is always great. They don't ever say you need this or that just to make a dollar like other places around the area do.

The young man at the counter was very helpful. He explained the different service packages and I went with the one he suggested because he said it was the one he used for his truck. I was a walk in and they finished my work before noon!! Thank you, I ll be back.

I have used Black s Tires several times. They have always treated me good. They work hard to get you in and out as soon as possible. I highly recommend them to anyone needing their vehicles serviced.

Called to ask if I needed an appointment to balance and Mount 4 tires on my truck. I was told no as they were pretty open today 3/25. I arrived at 8:30 am and also requested an oil change. They did not have the filter so they had one delivered which took about an hour. I then asked what was taking so long and was told the oil has been changed and they were working on the 2nd wheel. I finally got out of there about 11:45. My truck sat on the lift with nothing done for about 2 hrs while they waited in the filter. Once the filter was there, the oil was then changed and the tires installed. Poor organization of that entire process. I have used BTS several times and have had great service, I hope this was a 1off and it is addressed.

As a long time customer I have always been satisfied with the mechanics, the front desk staff and the knowledge of the managers at Blacks. Their prices and quality of service is beyond the norm. I would highly recommend their services. They are also very fair to the female customers.

Blacks Tire is always prompt, never too long of a wait. The employees are courteous, tells you what you need and get approval before doing the work. Blacks is the best place to have a vehicle serviced. I highly recommend them any time

Good service. Tires reasonably priced. Quick service. Would have given five stars but pricing on their website for tires was an inaccurate. Need to keep their website prices up to date. Other than that enjoy doing business with and will continue to do so.

Had a major issue and contacted Todd Stephens. He immediately jumped into action and lined up towing service to pick up the truck. Once the truck arrived at the shop, the guys discussed the issue and came up with a plan. T he tech s delivered in an extremely timely manner based on their workload and had my vehicle back up and running the next day. Thank you for your help and willingness to get the job done!

These folks are awesome.I am from out of town and, ironically, had walked by earlier in the day and felt that the place had a good vibe. Hours later notice car has aloe tire. Arrived at Black s Tire late in the day and they cheerfully checked the punctured tire and said it was not possible to patch it because it was a sidewall puncture. Tire on other side was too old to put on a new replacement tire so they recommended putting on two new tires. Since I carry a full sized spare, asked them to switch on the spare which they did with no fuss and I was out within 20 minutes. Overheard them deal with other customers while I was waiting and each one received the same courteous yet friendly reception and service. Wish that they were in my town!

These guys are the best in the business for tires and alignments! Their alignment Tech is one of the best in the state and can align anything, be it on oversized tires, lifted, lowered, or anything in between. Tire prices are always great and they get you in and out fast. I recommend them to everyone in New Bern when it comes to tires and suspension.

Black s Tire & Auto is my go-to place for service, inspections and of course tires. The staff is friendly and professional and they have a nice waiting area if you choose to wait. Highly recommend them!

I have used Blacks tire service 3 times nowOnce on Mt F250, once on my 34 5th wheel and today withy Honda CR V. I have been happy with everything they have done.

Fantastic folks, who are very professional, experienced and friendly. I didn't understand the price I was quoted and they took the time to help me understand and in the end everything made sense and was a great price to boot. Any time I need help with my vehicle, these are the people I'm talking to first and so should you.

The woman salesperson told me I needed some new tires. They were Goodyear 85,000 mile guarantees and had 30k on them. There was some miscommunication between the mechanic and her. She said they had broken treads and I did not rotate them enough. I said Black s rotated them every 6,000 miles when I spoke to the mechanic he said they were only wearing a little on the inside and maybe an alignment was needed next time.

Took my Chevy road track in for an emissions test and to safety check before my next trip. Always always get wonderful service at Blacks tire! I usually ask for Tom because he is a great guy, but honestly everyone there is so nice. Don t know another auto facility that is as honest and reliable as blacks tire! Thanks guys for all your help. I will continue to recommend you to my friends.

We ordered new wheels and tires to be mounted and balanced since our vehicle was still in use. There were delays of course with current logistics in the country, but they did the work timely once the shipment came in. When I brought the old wheels in the following day to be dismounted and disposed of, there was no charge. Thank You Talyn and gang.05/26/2023Talked with Talyn about tires for our 2020 Traverse. After looking at 3 choices settled on General Grabber HTS60. They got me in and out in about 45minutes. Rock on Guys!!

This is the second time I ve had service here and I am very pleased. The employees are extremely professional and give clear communication as to what is going on with my car and they were prompt with when they said it would be ready for pick up.

Well the folks at the Pollock Street location fixed my 77 Ford F-100. It took a days to get to it due to it being a drop off and a few days for parts which is all understandable. She stops good now

Honest!!I HAVE always felt like I was being treated HONESTLY AND TRUEFULLY. I have dealt with several Automotive Services; When you're happy with their service and treatment, you stay with them; When you're not happy you move. At Black's Tire you get treated well, Great work, at a reasonable honest price.

On my drive from Florida to New Bern I noticed a problem with my brakes. By the time I arrived, there was an audible grinding from the rear. I called Black s on Tuesday, brought the truck to them at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, and had it back with new rotors and brakes for a fair price by 11 AM. The place was immaculate, the folks were super friendly and polite. I will give them a six if I could
