These guys are amazing. They are not only very knowledgeable and courteous, they didn t treat me like a dumb female nor did they look down on me when I said I simply couldn t afford their estimated bill at this time. My vehicle had been towed to them over the weekend by AAA. Quite to the contrary of making me feel ignorant or poor for not being able to pay their quite reasonable prices, instead they helped me come up with a solution to the problem that made it feasible for me to get my desperately needed vehicle back that no doubt the solution made them no money but made it possible for me to get the only transportation me and my children had back on the road. Kudos and God bless to these great people who truly cared about my dilemma and not just their bottom line dollar. You all are great folks and I was blessed when AAA choose you to take my vehicle to your shop when I asked the AAA to pick a decent place as I knew no one in the area since I was 3 hours from home and had no idea what to do.Thank you from my heart and soulSam Ryan

I was in town visiting and need an oil change asap. I called and was told yes they could but it may be a few hours because they were short staffed. I appreciated being told that so I left my car and I had it back in a couple of hours. The staff was very helpful and my car is driving great!

New to New Bern in 2022 and was referred to Black s Tire & Auto Service. I have been very satisfied with their service ever since. Very professional, and very reasonable, something we all need in this trying economy . I would definitely recommend this Business to anyone and I am 100 % positive that you will be just as satisfied as I am!

This was the easiest tire replacement that I've had done in years! Black's was was the lowest price for the tires I needed. To top it off they also offer a free tire rotation every 3k miles. The waiting room was clean and quiet, always a plus, the total time was shorter than expected.Top notch team! Thank you all so very much.

The Black's Tire employees in New Bern provide outstanding customer service and does a great job meeting my car repair needs. They are always friendly and willing to help. All our family members have their cars repaired here. Great people, great service. They make you feel like family!

I felt right after walking in the door, that I was not only welcome, but l was valuable to them as a customer. The staff was quick to serve me and my tire issue was handled professionally and promptly. I'll be back with my tire needs. I feel the charges were fair as well.

Blacks Tires on MLK Blvd in New Bern is the BEST! Tires yes but so much more! Knowing when I need tires I don t need to shop around. They have the best prices and service. So friendly, fast and accurate, never had a problem.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of care I received. My car was brought into the shop without any appointment but it was fixed expeditiously and I was treated with a great amount of respect..Black's auto is now my repair shop by choice.. I found the techs to be knowledgable and they are truly a business of high regard..Their word can be honored as contract.. I reccommend this shop without hesitation..it was by God I walked in here..and I am exceedingly pleased and feel blessed.

To begin with the service was good. I went in, almost at closing time to get a tire plugged. The small nail or brad that was removed was about a 1/2 inch long but long enough for the tire to slowly lose air. I sincerely appreciate getting worked in at the last minute. They shut down at 5:30. I was there at 5:10. The biggest problem I had was a bill for almost $30.00 to put a plug in my tire. I had the technician quote me a price turn key on a new set of tires in which he did, but that damn $30.00 bill for one little plug that may have taken the mechanic 10 minutes to complete just shocked the heck out of me. Too much for too little...

These guys are always kind, polite and courteous. They have changed my oil on a few occasions and I m been very pleased and because of the awesome hospitality the displayed I returned on today. I called this morning and Bradley answered and I asked him can you guys put a bulb in for me he then asked the make and model and told me the price and I said can I bring it now he kindly said yes ma am long story short I took my car in they changed the bulb and my wiper blades and once again a five star treatment is what I received Thank you so much guys Sincerely, Katherine Tune

Black's Tire and Auto plugged and patched a tire for us and changed our oil. It took a bit longer than we anticipated, but this was due to the fact that they didn't have the oil filter on hand. But, great people to work with and we have had good service from them for almost 10 years. Good communication from the manager was very appreciated.

I was stranded with a dead battery with a severely handicapped husband at home recovering from an injury and I was very concerned. Black s Tire Service was able to install a new battery for me right away.They were professional, courteous, and efficient. I appreciate their efforts to assist me in my hour of need as well as my Veteran husband.

April 11, 2024 update: If I could give these guys 25 stars I would!! I had 4 brand new tires put on yesterday. This afternoon (3:15pm) I go outside and my car is sitting lopsided and the left front tire is flat I called and talked to Ron. He said we'll take care of it, gave me the number to call Gray's Towing . Gray's showed up within 30 minutes, towed it to Black's. In the meantime Brad called to make sure I wasn't in any danger with having a flat tire and assured me they'd take care of it. My car was back in my driveway by 5:15pm. What are the odds I'd run over a piece of metal the day after I buy a set of tires It's been the week from h_ _ _, but the guys at Black's Tires and Gray's Towing have made me smile You have been a blessing

I have used Blacks Tire for a very long time. I used to have a 2001 Toyota and they took care of everything with that car. I purchased a new vehicle and I knew that Blacks would take care of it. Everyone at Blacks are very professional and as a female, I believe they are very honest with me. I trust them

If I could give black tires a higher mark, and then five, then it would be at least a 10. Went in for a car inspection. People at the desk were extremely kind. The work was done on time actually earlier I would definitely recommend black tires to a friend will be going back to have our car service there.

Greeted nicely upon arrival. Provided options on the types of tires. Selected what was best for the $$ I wanted to spend. Got everything done within 2 hours. Great job!

Very friendly and professional customer service. Was told when making appointment for oil change that it would take approximately 90 minutes and it took a little less.Will definitely go back to Black s Tire in the future.

In a pinch but the folks at blacks tire and auto were a huge help! Had some engine work done and couldn t be more happy. My car sounds and runs so much better and they got me outta there with a fair price. Ron was super helpful and informative. Will give my business to this garage again

Been going to Blacks Tire for several years and they really upped their game the last 2 years. I feel I receive good service, fair pricing and a great staff! I've got no reason to go anywhere else.

Taking advantage of people in desperate situations. We were at the Walmart to buy some groceries, after we returned to car so we could leave it wouldn t start, seems the battery starter had died. I had to push the car in front of their mechanic shop because it was the only one close by, they made us wait an hour for the technician to arrive and another hour to get the problem fixed. I m not gonna compliment them in any way, for $445 that was the least to be expected from them, unfortunately I couldn t really go anywhere else otherwise I would ve probably found a way fairer price. Alas such is life, what s done it s done but one thing is for certain, Black s Tire & Auto Service location should only be considered in desperate situations, if you can, go anywhere else.

All of Black Tire Representatives are very courteous, friendly, honest and very patient with the customers. This has been my personal experience with the BTRs from my first visit.Ron Thompson is who assist me when I visit the establishment. He treats all of his customers with the utmost respect. He gives a very detailed explanation for how the repairs are going to be done to the vehicle.Black Tire is becoming the only place I take the vehicles for services.Thanks to all the Representatives at Black Tire for well done services.

Due to my vehicle mileage of 106,000 miles, I requested Black s perform two maintenance services. After diagnosing and evaluating, they determined that the vehicle didn t need the requested services saving me several hundred dollars of unnecessary maintenance services. I have been going to Black s since moving to New Bern two years ago and based upon this experience and past experiences will be with them much longer.

Service manager was great. Friendly, professional. Gave me an estimate on the time to have my repair done. When I returned when he said to, the work was done. Couldn't be happier with the experience.
