Great experience with Bear Auto Body. I was so upset when someone hit my car while it was parked in a parking lot. I had never had to take a vehicle for work at a body shop before and wasn't sure how things would go, but Alex made it a breeze. He was very informative and upfront. The work done at the shop was quick and great quality. The staff was courteous and professional. They even washed my car and cleaned up the inside before I picked it up. I would definitely recommend them. Bear Auto Body gets 5 stars from me!

My experience so far is definitely a 5 star rating. I met with Alex about the spoiler on my Honda CRV - he was prompt, professional and very helpful.

I have used shops that are "cheaper" trying to save a buck. What a mistake! The best shops only charge a fraction more and the jobs ends up matching perfectly. Otherwise you regret it for the remainder of the time you own the car. Do you really want to be reminded of your mistake every time you come up to your car??Also, these guys are so polite and professional. Highly recommended. You'll have better luck dealing with the insurance company than them. Your insurance want to keep you as a paying customer.

Wow! What a wonderful experience! Someone backed up into my car and no one could get me in soon enough for the repair. Bear Auto body ordered my new bumper the same day and my car was as good as new within couple of days! In fact it looked better than it was before the accident! Very professional and wonderful people! Out of the three shops that I've talked to, this was definitely the best - very responsive, most helpful and friendly! Highly recommend it to anyone, you cannot go wrong! Thank you very much!

This place did an absolutely amazing unbelievable job on my car. I got in an accident and went to a popular collision shop in New Bern first (E&J). They were totally unprofessional and damaged my car prior to even doing an estimate. Their service was so terrible and offensive that I left and took my car to Bear Auto. That was the best thing I could have done! Bear Auto did such a great job on my car that I didn t believe that it was the same car when I came to pick it up. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend this place as the only body shop in New Bern to work on your car!!! They do outstanding work, and you won t be disappointed.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Alex and the staff of Bear Auto Body were friendly and professional from the moment I spoke to them on the phone. I expressed my concerns and questions related to the damages on car and was very pleased with the knowledge and insight from the staff. Even more impressive was the contact they consonantly kept letting me know the progress of my repairs and estimated time before completion. I was very pleased with their service and would recommend them to any and everyone in a heartbeat.

These guys were professional, quick, and did a great job. I was impressed and enjoyed a spirited conversation about mechanical stuff. These guys really know their stuff. If you want a restoration, these guys will make you leave smiling like a pig in slop.

Recently I had some body work done on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson at Bear Auto in New Bern. The owner & employees were knowledgeable, courteous, and well informed with the needs of my vehicle. They were prompt in fixing my car after I dropped it off and prompt in letting me know it was finished. If you are in the market for a great body repair shop, this is the one! Thank you for the great job you did on my car!

First time having to take my car in for any type of repair, and they made it such a smooth process! My vehicle was keyed on the whole right side, yet it it was so perfectly repaired it looked like nothing ever happened when I got it back. The atmosphere in the shop was outstanding. The staff was very nice, and welcoming. I would recommend this shop, and I will return if i ever need more work done on my vehicle.

After having been hit by a seriously careless driver I took my car to Alex and Bear Auto. A couple of other body shops in town left me feeling like they didnt want to be bothered because it wasn't a high dollar repair. Alex and the guys at Bear Auto were awesome. They were busy because of the recent hurricane but well worth the wait. They kept in contact with me and worked with the jackleg insurance company. Beautiful work. My car looks like it did before "crash lady" hit me. I will definitely recommend them to anyone. Thanks again for everything. Excellent service :)

Phenomenal staff and phenomenal work. Wes has always made sure my cars have come back looking better than they did before they needed work done. Completely restored the back of my 2017 Nissan after a Coca-Cola truck hit, and helped me with dealing with their insurance company when they didn't want to pay. Absolutely the only place to take your car in New Bern, people who complain have never actually stepped foot into Bear Auto Body or have gotten work done by Wes and his staff. Take it from a reoccurring customer (I get into a lot of wrecks), I wouldn't trust my car in anyone else's hands!

I got in an accident a week before we moved a crossed country and it rocked my world. With New Bern heavily effected all body ships were booked out and not taking new vehicles. Bear Auto Body accepted my non driveable vechile with compassionate hearts. Fixing my car in less then a week while being slammed. They are great and Friendly people and worked with me to make sure I knew what was going on with my car. I m happy to say I 100% recommend this shop to everyone jobs big or small. Thank you to Bear Auto for being the best experience in the auto care business I could ask for.

I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone! They were extremely helpful from day 1, have been nothing but generous, and of course do excellent work! I made a recommendation to someone before even getting my car back, simply because of how friendly and helpful they were from the start! I will gladly continue to recommend them. Genuinely happy with this business!!

This business and their employees are super!!!!!!. Alex explained the process and went above and beyond what would be normally expected. We had the unfortunate experience of colliding with an animal, the car was repaired and is good as new!, and their work is guaranteed, I have no doubt that they will stand behind their work, I highly recommend this body shop.

Found out the morning I brought my car in for the long awaited appointment that they no longer accept insurance payments. Unacceptable when I did not receive a call or was informed in the 2 months prior to my appointment .. Will never inquire or recommend this business to anyone ..ZERO stars

Alex the owner of Bear Auto Body was very helpful to me when I was in accident.He not only made sure my car was fixed back into tip top shape but he also went above & beyond that as he helped me talk thru the process with the insurance adjusters & to file my claim,& to ease my mind even more Alex made it possible that I had a rental car delivered out to his shop on the same day I left mine to be repaired.A Big shout out to Bear Auto Body Shop,You guys did a awesome job repairing my car & Alex you are so very much appreciated for everything than you could ever know!!God Bless U Guys!!5 Star No Doubt!!

Guy i talked to was rude & completely unhelpful. Talked to to me & about the vehicle i was trying to give them money to fix. Actually look at a vehicle before you are rude about the work its going to need. & do n9t talk down to potential customers.

Had my rear bumper replaced after I was rear ended in 2015. looked matching at first but it did not hold up over time. A noticeable dullness is on the rear end of my car.
