What started out as a fantastic experience didn t end quite as well. The staff was great helping me with regards to getting a discount from Michelin under warranty for my new tires. After I picked up my truck (2019 F-350 with 37K miles on it) and got home, I noticed the rear passenger side hub was missing. I called to report it missing and in a rather accusatory tone, I was told it was missing when I dropped it off. I was also told having been in business for 63 years we don t make silly mistakes like that. I was then called by staff that was on duty when I dropped it off and he reiterated that he noticed the cap was missing but it wasn t documented nor was I notified! After being in business for 63 years I would expect that notification such as informing the customer of a deficiency would be normal protocol! Again, I was told in a sarcastic fashion that the hub wasn t there. While they offered to replace the cover , I decided not to follow through for I don t want my otherwise impeccable reputation to be tarnished nor do I like being spoken to as if I am trying to engage in something unethical! I much prefer to buy the part myself and keep a clear conscience! God sees all.

This is the only place in town I fully trust with my baby. They re super nice too. I never feel taken advantage of. The job is always done efficiently and well.

Professional and helpful. I needed to make a warranty claim on two badly worn Michelin tires. I tried Baldree's after being frustrated by the apparent inability of two other shops to handle the claim. Baldree's took care of the lengthy phone call with Michelin, and I had new tires with a 60% discount the next day.

This is a very reasonable place to get service for a vehicle in new bern. They are trustworthy, and that is hard to find anywhere around.

This was my dads favorite place to take his vehicles, I remember coming here as a kid with my dad so when I bought my first car I started coming here as well, now I'm 47, and have been coming here what feels like my whole life, I just love them :)

Always get good service. I have been a Baldrees customer for 25 years. I wouldn't take my cars any place else unless I had to.

Hospitable, got the job done. Charge about 30% over what should be charged. Got me right in and did the job . Conclusion, an expensive auto repair shop rate quoted " 95.00 an hour ". , But... If they do the job quicker then there estimate, they still charge you the higher amount, William Baldree will ." say something like, my mechanic worked quick " Don't let his hospitality fool ya, he's a little bit of a shyster ! Expensive Napa repair shop, that does the job. Right remains. to be seen. Hope so.

Their customer service was poor and hurtful. I paid 725.01 for a new alternator and battery which I thought was too much. I had my little girl with me and I was treated badly and even laughed at in front of my daughter. Noone should ever be treated poorly and laughed at when all I did was give the check out girl a compliment.

I'm very pleased with the service I have received each time I have taken my car in for service. They have been up front and honest with the service, not telling me I "needed" anything other than what I was having done and not taking advantage of me because I'm a woman. They're family owned and operated, and have down-home Christian values. I highly recommend this establishment.

I went here recently to get the State Inspection done on my car and they were very friendly, helpful, and fast. It was. Not a long wait for the inspection. Also the customer service was great because they for got to give me back my registration because when he was pulling my paper work from the wall it fell on the grown but they called me back about 30mins later after they had noticed it on the ground to inform me. I went back that same day to pick it up! I would recommend them for inspections.

I continue to go here to get my car done, because of several reasons. My father worked for them for years til he passed away. The owner and staff have continued to treat us like family and helped us any way we have needed it for our cars. Love Baldrees!

Mr. Baldree runs one of the most professional shops I've ever visited. He and the entire staff are extremely courteous and prompt. I wish I would have found this place when I first came to New Bern 8 years ago!

High quality local shop with good prices, excellent mechanics, and both friendly and helpful customer service. I have never been disappointed in bringing an issue to Baldree's knowing that they will either fix the problem or figure out someone else who can.

I took my car there for front end alignment. They were so up front with me. They told me that I had to have some work done to the front end of my car before I should even consider the front-end alignment. Not all businesses would be that honest. I highly recommend Baldrees!

The folks at this location made me feel very welcome!It was my first time in their store because they were coordinating and honoring a warrantee for electrical charging system work done by another business in their network.Thank you Mr. Baldree!!

Cannot speak more highly of their service, prices, and speed! Came in 30 mins from close on a Saturday with a blowout two hours from home. They gladly called around to other tireshops if they had the correct tire, brought it back to their shop and 30 minutes later I was back on the road. I didn't even have to bring up a military discount either my haircut or base decal gave it away. They are a model business.

William Baldree, thank you for courtesy, great customer service, clear explanation of what was needed, and done to my vehicle, reasonable pricing, and you diagnosed the problem and had me in and out of your shop in less than an hour!I will trust my automobile to you going forward. This is what happened: I took my Jeep to Mr. Tire for an oil change, a few days later, I noticed a large amount of (what I thought was oil) under the vehicle, in my driveway. Reluctant to drive the vehicle, I telephoned Mr. Tire; they sent a mechanic to the house, who told me it was transmission fluid leaking and had nothing to do with the oil change, and that I needed to bring the vehicle back to their shop so they could work on the transmission. I was skeptical. I am so glad that I then took my vehicle to Baldree's! They found oil leaking from around the oil filter cap and gasket was missing. They replaced the filter and gasket, and cleaned the oil run off from aroung the engine and under the vehicle. My jeep is in good repair, now, thanks to Baldree's. In summary, my advice to consumers: go to a well known, local, reputable company, like Baldree's.

A complete rip off. I went in for an alignment. They were able to get 1 tire aligned. Paid them. Then they told me I needed new struts, new wheel bearings, new ball joints, and my frame was bent. I took it to my trusted local shop. They were able to align the front end perfectly with a camber kit. It's a Hyundai Elantra so there are no rear adjustments. The frame is not bent. The wheel bearings are good, the ball joints are good, the struts are good. They are just another rip off shop trying sell uneeded parts and labor. STAY AWAY.

You ask for a oil change only. You pick up your truck and then did a oil change and tire rotation without asking. Then the tech who rotated the tires has a smart mouth. Professionalism is trash!

I was just in search of spare tire and rim . Very friendly helpful . Gave me a brochure and now have decided to upgrade my off market rims . If you need tires or rims this is the place to go . Thank you Baldree's on Trent Rd. New Bern N.C.

Third generation owned and operated. Originally started by the late William Baldree, and passed down to Bill, and Gary Baldree. Gary has since opened a second location in Havelock, NC.The service is always good, friendly, and the estimates are right on the nose.Work is guaranteed!William, and his father Bill, along with Tracie Baldree Jenkins are ready to serve you!

Really nice people here. Easy quotes on work and tire service. Competitive prices. A smaller shop that feels really old timey. Friendly staff.
