I've had two cars fixed here and even though I find them to be pricey still if you can trust it will be done right is important to me.

This is the place to go for all your automotive needs. The owner/ mechanic is very experienced. Builds race cars on the side. This is also a speed shop. He has what you need, or he can get it really fast.

While visiting in Murphy, NC for an new years eve event, alternator went out. These guys sacrificed the lunch hour to diagnose, locate a new alternator, replace, and get me back on the road quickly for a fair price. Made it to the event on time thanks to Route 64 Speed Shop & Auto professionals. Will not forget their kindness and skill. The staff is very knowledgeable. They were able to diagnose the problem and repair the vehicle. Kyle, the lead mechanic is very polite and courteous. Bill the owner is also polite and courteous. Pricing of the job was very fair and a good warranty. Definitely will return for future repairs and projects.

Diagnosed and fixed our Honda Odyssey when we could not find any other auto shop open in the small town of Murphy on a Saturday afternoon Bill did a great job in a short time at the most affordable honest price. I would highly recommend the place for any auto repair / maintenance work. Forever grateful to Bill and Penny for helping out.

Absolutely Amazing...Bill, Fantastic mechanic & a great human being.Travelling with family, I show up at his shop with a missing break pad, when he was about to leave with his family. This place did a custom exhaust system on my chevy blazer and the whole reason I did so was it had multiple exhaust leaks. Well its been a couple of years and it started to leak again and I inspected it. Oh my God, the welds that are on it could have been done better by a 12yr old Stevie wonder . And a few just blew threw the pipe . And its pure amateur time looking at it and I spent top dollar. What trash. And you call yourself a race shop , more like scam shop . Do not bring your car here to these hack artists.Still trash, liars and never tried to make it right . Smh

After being stuck at panther top with a flat tire and an amazing young man to help us get the spare on, by the time to got back to Murphy. We pulled in with a shredded spare tire and they went above and beyond to help us out. Murphy people are amazing.

Bill and Kyle are the best don't trust my truck to anyone else. If they can't fix it you're in trouble. They have been a big blessing to Morehouse Ministry. Keep up the good work!

Bill has been my go to mechanic for years now. With the utmost respect and professionalism I've never had a worry concerning ANY project that I've brought to him. 10\10. After years of searching for quality people and work. Route 64 fills that position.

He was the only place open in town during a snow storm. I thought I needed a new alternator but he tested it and said it was just the battery. He was right. Saved me a lot of money and didn't charge me a penny. He truly is an honest mechanic.

Took a 95 GMC Sonoma here because it was running hot they took the engine apart to look at it then never did any of the things we had discussed and on top of that charged me $135 for taking my engine apart which was never put back together so now I have a truck that has the engine completely dismantled and doesn't run they are a rip off and I'm clearly not happy or using them again

We've had everything from warranty work on our Honda to an engine swap on our 79 Bronco done by the crew and can't recommend them enough. Fair prices and competent work can be expected.

Had a clutch put in here was a bit pricey but the work was fast and very well donebrought the same vehicle back when it overheated it was taken apart never put back together even though it did try to turn over when I brought it in
