Set off Interstate 40, this straightforward 3-story hotel is 0.6 miles from Western Piedmont Community College and 3.2 miles from Quaker Meadows Golf Club. All rooms and suites include en suite bathrooms with showers and tubs, and feature free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, desks, microwaves, minifridges and coffeemakers. Suites add adjoining rooms and some have whirlpool tubs. Kids 17 and under stay free with a paying adult. Complimentary continental breakfast buffet is included. There’s also an exercise room, meeting space and free parking for cars and large vehicles.

My family and I were in the process of moving. We stayed at this property for two weeks. Rooms are very clean. House keeping was above reproach. They provided essentials items needed without having to request. Management provided steller customer service. They cared for their customers and every time they seen us walking by they greeted us with a warm smile and check to make sure we were happy with our stay so far. Parking lot was easily accessible and clean. Continental breakfast was always fresh and ready at scheduled time each morning. I will return in the future, if in the area! I would recommend to friends and family!!Thank you for such a great experience!

Everything was great! The room was great as the service was awesome from the time I called in the reservation to the time I checked out, everyone was friendly and hard working, the gentleman at the front desk (Fenil) was running around constantly getting stuff done and he was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and made sure everything was going well. I will say the only downside was the location, locals give this place issues and tarnishes the rep, but that is not something they can easily control, I mean try moving an entire building lol. Overall, I'd of paid more than what I did for my room and the service I received. 5/5 stars, I plan on coming again

It's in a good location except for the view from window. The rooms need a deep cleaning and extermination of bugs. It seemed to be a family owned business with some issues with the locals. Kevin the morning desk manager need my room number before entering the elevator and is actively looking for anyone he decides does not belong.

I put check in the guy was really cool and very respectful. The only issue I have is that the refrigerator in the room didn t work I paid for two rooms one for me and one for my apprentice. His refrigerator didn t work neither and we both lost all the food that we had put in there, other than that you can t really beat it for the price my bed feels like it s made out of plywood but again you get what you pay for I m just here working for a week so it s all good

The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at, better off at Motel 6. The carpet was filthy, never been vaccuumed. Insect carcasses behind bed, under curtains, all the corners of the room. Urine stains behind toilet accummulated for awhile and dirt in all corners of the restroom, prob never been mopped. My son and I got bitten up by what I assume were bed bugs. Had to wipe everything down, felt grimy. Desk looks like some crackheads had a party. I took photos of all the findings all will be reporting them to all the 3G (Yelp, Tripadvisor,Google). Front desk not friendly. Did not say welcome, can I help you, not in the hospitality business eh? Just demanded to know what room we were in, after we were there for 2 days already.Not like there were tons of guests, prob less than 10 cars in the parking lot and 3 of them were prob employees. Maid came one day and never cleaned our room for the rest of our 6 day stay. Breakfast was a joke, nothing close to the description on the iternerary in the room. The young lady working the graveyard shift was very nice, only positive thing. I dont mind that it was older, just not clean and definitey not a refection of their 96 inspection score! We were there for a funeral, from Cali, and had no time to find other accomodations. I see why they have a low Google score and the high scoring reviews did not stay in room 205!

Not perfect but perfect service. We were treated like royalty. New management has stepped it up and is a hard worker. We were there two nights and we saw him day and night. Anything we needed he accommodated. Would recommend!Noteworthy details: Great service.

This was the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed at and the owner/staff was so rude. The washcloth in my room had brown stains on it and I brought it down for a replacement. He REFUSED to give me another one. Such a simple request and he argued about it until I gave up.Rooms: Dirty, dirty, dirty. The bed was the worst hotel bed I have ever had to sleep on.

This was the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The first thing that happened when we got to the room was that the door handle literally came off. When I went to use the bathroom, I immediately saw how dirty the bathrooms was. The shower curtain was stained yellow. There was soap and dirt stains everywhere in the shower. When I went to talk to the front desk person about this, he told me that it was permanently stained and would not come off. He went into the room to show me this but upon wiping a napkin over the "permanent stains", a bunch of dirt came off. He then told me he would clean and repair the door handle by the end of the night (he never did). Also, we had a friend visit us in the hotel but the front desk person would not let them up thee because "no visitors were allowed". That friend ended up wanting to stay with us so we asked the front desk person about paying for an extra person staying in our room but he told us that the room was only for 2 people and we would have to pay for another room. I have never heard of this before, the bed was a king bed and there would only be 3 people staying in the room if my friend was allowed to stay with us. Then in the morning I saw the same front desk person cleaning the rooms. They definitely need to hire PROFESSIONAL cleaners and work on their customer service skills (worker that helped us with a man with glasses and black hair). I wasn't even able to shower because no one ever came to clean it :(

Just a typical budget hotel, but they seem to be doing it right. The room, while not luxurious, is roomy, the bed is comfortable, and the A/C works and is quiet. Despite being on the corner of a busy intersection, it's quiet and feels safe.Rooms: Large and everything works!

Traveling across the country on vacation this past week so this is my fouth BW location that I have stayed at and by far the worst! The hotel/motel needs an upgrade, the place is old and outdated. The bathroom tub and tiolet were stained they need to replaced.The service was fine but the man at the front desk told me no food in the rooms so why have a microwave and small refrigerator in the room?To make money you need to spend money!Rooms: Needs an upgrade!

MOST DEFINITELY do not recommend this hotel for anyone!! Checking in the first room had mold on the shower curtain, a horrible smoke smell and there was hair all over the bathroom floor. After complaining we were moved to another room, which had the same smell. The entire weekend the hotel smelled strongly of weed. You are required to put a $200 deposit down and when you check out they check the room before returning the deposit and charged me $60 for two towels that had make up on them. WASHABLE make up that comes off when you re showering but yet charged $60 for them.

The absolute worst place to stay. Was trying to sleep and every 15 seconds someone on our floor was coming in & out of their room at 1 AM. Not to mention every 5 minutes you heard police sirens in your room. The entire hotel reeked of cigarettes & mildew. The elderly women at the front desk had no personality, if you asked her something she acts as if it was a chore, was extremely unkind. Several sketchy people hanging out around the hotel, definitely did not feel safe at all. Especially didn t feel safe when the lock on the door was busted so you could not lock your door from the inside. Rooms were not clean, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, shower floors were dirty, & shower was broken. Would not recommend staying here.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean enough. Breakfast was lacking( do to COVID protocols). Only reason I am rating this low is the room had a sour smell from a major water leak in bathroom that flooded right in front of door and the 2 lights and plugs by the bed didn't work in fact one of the lights was actually broke. Reason for them not working we were told was due to an electrical issue throughout the floor. The jacuzzi in the room was nice but was a little small for 2 people like advertised when we booked. Overall though we were satisfied with our stay.

The water pipes in our house bursted and the Surstay was very accommodating about letting locals stay there. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and polite. Their washers and dryers work excellently. I have no complaints about staying here and am very appreciative of how well we have been treated during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are local and need a place to stay while you are getting work done in your house or even just passing through. Thank you to the staff at Surstay for making us feel welcome.

The worst hotel ever! We will never stay there again. They charge your card a $200 hold fee but they don t even just hold it they actually take it out of your account. We asked for a full refund and still got $153 gone. It smelled like a huge ash tray. There were roaches and ants in our room. Sketchy people in the parking lot not somewhere i want to ever take my 5 month old again. I have never been one to complain or ask for my money back. But the lady i guess it s the manager she lives there and she was so rude to us. And acted as if we were stupid when we asked her why the WiFi wasn t working. Our tv wouldn t even change channels so we had no tv. Worst experience in my life!!!

Me and my husband was kinda hesitant to come here, based on some of the reviews but we're glad we did! From the time we checked in, to the time we checked out, it was a good experience. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. When we got on the elevator, we did smell smoke but that's to be expected with a hotel that allows smoking on the 3rd floor. We didn't smell any smoke at all anywhere else and we were on the 2nd floor. Our room was clean and all appliances worked like they should. No mildew, no smoke smell, no bugs, no bug bites, no disturbances. We got 2 double beds and both of them were a little squeaky but comfy and pillows were really comfy. We brought our own from home because hotel pillows usually suck but these didn't! Didn't even use ours from the house. Breakfast was grab and go with juices, coffee and snack cakes because of covid but that's to be expected. Better than nothing! There's a microwave in the room if you wanted to bring something from home. Just a pleasant experience for me and my husband who just wanted to get away for a few nights. Thank you to the staff at Days Inn! If we're ever in the area again, we will be back! :)

The halls stink from smoke. They appear to have guests that are there long term (displaced, temporarily homeless ?) We stayed for 3 nights. The family next to us moved out the day we left carrying out many boxes. The issue we had was noise from their room; i.e. screaming and swearing at 2:00 AM and again in the late afternoon. We had an end room (301). We were in town for a family reunion and arrived back to the hotel about 10:00 one evening. At that time there were 6 or 7 sketchy looking people just hanging out in the parking lot in 2 groups. We didn't feel very safe.The room was adequate. But it didn't seem very clean.They charge you if you don't return your key at checkout. I can't remember the last time I encountered that requirement.We stay at Days Inns and other Wyndham properties frequently when we travel across the country. This one does not meet Wyndham standards.Next reunion, we will definitely stay in a different hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful.The staff offered us another room since suite 111 has electrical issues. Some of the lights and outlets did not work.The cable wasn t working. The staff fixed the cable in a timely manner.Jacuzzi was awesome. Nice and hot. Hot water knob was lose, but it still worked perfectly.The room was clean and smelled fresh. The hotel was quiet. The bed was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay.
