So far, Morganton s customer service is a zero. I have been calling for several days over a period of weeks. I continually get the message we cannot transfer to this branch, please try your call again later auto disconnect/time-out.When I called during the weekend I got a corporate answering service which made my reservation with the promise, the branch will call to confirm and you will get an email That hasn t t happened either and my rental pick up is supposed to happen Manday at 7:30 it s Friday morning uugh.I am more than willing to update with a more positive review if I actually get a reservation

My original rental had an issue in Marion NC and this was the closest location. I tried calling at least 5 times on our 50 minute drive to this location and kept getting the we cannot transfer to this branch, please try your call again later auto disconnect/time-out. Well when I got there, there were two employees there and absolutely zero customers, so that kinda makes me think they just didn t feel like answering the phone. Which is unfortunate, because I was calling to give them a heads up on my situation and that I d need a replacement rental while mine was being towed. So when I showed up, they were caught a little off guard by my needs, and one of the employees appeared to be emptying his personal belongings out of the rental I was going to be getting. I m fine with that, it just felt like I was literally taking his car all of a sudden. Oh well, I got a car and made it back to my city at the end of the day.

Never again,they want answer their phones.We called for days and was promised a vehicle by a set time. We drove over to Burke Enterprise and even requested to put down a deposit the lady at the desk said no need for that. We got you covered get there and they said three SUV s that we asked about needs service and could only offer a truck. No way a truck to drive for a week vacation and this was located in Burke County and Hickory wasn t any better at their location. Get it together Enterprise people still wanna rent vehicles for traveling. So Disappointed.We drove our own!

I placed a reservation 2 weeks in advance. I arrived to pick up my rental and was told they didn t have anything available. Additionally, they were unwilling to reach out to any neighboring branches to check for availability. I will not be returning to this branch!! I will happily drive to Hickory or Asheville for a better customer experience!

Great vehicle, very nice, little dirty on the outside but nothing a run through the car wash couldn t fix!! Vehicle was ready when asked scheduled and no issues.

The worst location in the US, feels like a bunch of high school kids running this business. Showed up with a reservation and the manager told me that reservations does't mean anything and they didn't have a vehicle for me. Zero customer service skills; last time a rented a car from them I went to returned it and they were closed at 4:30. What a joke!

I was in a predicament when I called needing a rental. Albert from the Tunnel Road in Asheville,NC location was amazing and made things so much easier on me! Huge shout out to him!!!

Nasty SUV, small parking lot, and never a good selection even when booking online. Spit on the window, staff cussing you as you pull into the small parking lot (Note: never apologized for that), and my wife has made it clear she will not take me there for another rental. I'll be cancelling future rentals already scheduled with enterprise. Update: just cancelled next weeks car at Enterprise and book through Avis in Hickory (cheaper even with the additional days).

Me and my dad and two friends were going to Nashville and we reserved the car months ago now we get called 30 minutes before our pickup time which is 8 and they said it will be 8:30 before we have the car sorry. So we show up at 8:24 and they said we were late so they sent the car out with someone else already. Thanks guys!!!Wont rent from enterprise anymore. And I m not gonna fill out an email to explain it just improve your service

On Aug 11, the insurance rep told my mother that she could take her car to the body shop on Mon, Aug 14 and go get the rental they RESERVED for her. When we went to get it we find out we have to make an appointment to get one on Wed, Aug 16. But then we get a call that morning saying they didn't have one but they would have one that afternoon and would call. That she was #1 on there list. No call. No car. I tired serval times to call within the next couple days but it went to a customer service message taking extension. On Fri, Aug 18 while I was on the phone to the insurance rep I drove over there and kept her on the line while I was there. I was told they still didn't have a car as I watched two different people drive off the lot with a car. And the disrespectful jerk I had to speak with never even bothered to take his foot he had propped up on the counter down. So he tells me it will be Tue, Aug 22 before my little mama can get a car. Well guess what we have heard NOTHING! The insurance rep that was on the phone told me this was unacceptable and would be checking into it. I can't believe they don't think any more of their customers than this. It's awful! I worked at a Ford dealership for 18 years and we NEVER EVER done our customers like this. Pitiful!

After sitting in the office for over an hour past my reservation, there were no cars available. I saw several people come in and state they had just set up reservations and been approved for a rental, but they had nothing on the lot.After getting my car (the first one to pull in the lot) and then subsequently returning it, this store and staff is not to blame.

Everyone was super nice. And helped me know about the car I got. I enjoyed my rental. And I loved the customer service. The only thing that I was not told was about the NC state taxes that enterprise charges. They charged me on my credit card $107.00 more after I returned the car. And I called them they said it was NC state taxes. I have never heard of it. Even my insurance company said they did not know anything about this charge. I knew they charged for mileage some. But I paid that. I was charged $75 to begin with that included my xtra charge. They said I would get $50 back but I didn t I was charged a xtra $107.00 on my credit card. I don t think this was fair. And my insurance company said they will tell everyone that rents from enterprise now about this tax. I feel I should get my money back. I was not told and that is the only problem I had. Staff were very helpful. They ensured that I was familiar with all the safety features of the rental car. The rental was clean in accordance with complete clean pledge. Gave me very reasonable fees for rental- a loaded Audi . Will definitely rent with Morganton Enterprise again.

I booked a reservation for July 1st- July 6th for my beach vacation on the 28th. I showed up on the 1st and they told me I booked it for the 28th.. umm no bruh, I made it clear that I said the 1st-6th yet they denied me service. I never leave bad reviews but this was so irritating, it s gonna make me late for my hotel reservation.

We go charged for gas at the end our rental when we had filled up at a gas station less than a mile from the rental car place. Had we not paid attention to our bank statement we would have never known. They never refunded our money even after brought this to their attention.

Called ahead at my local enterprise here in Morganton NC to MAKE SURE I had a vehicle and pick up when I dropped my car off to be repaired, when I went by day before to try and pay deposit and do paperwork so it would be easier on pick up day,employee said I couldn't do that and claimed no record of me calling..said they wouldn't have a vehicle till later than originally told me,very disappointed in service, will look elsewhere next time I need a vehicle!

I scheduled online, and it was quite easy. Everything was ready when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, and the staff was very polite and informative.The vehicle was clean and ready for me. I had almost no wait time.I dropped the vehicle off at a different location, and I received the same excellent service.

I had the best experience ever at this Enterprise location. The doors promptly opened at 0800 and I had my ReadyPass in hand. Nick, the manager, was friendly, professional and offered me an upgrade for a small fee. The car was clean and he even had the seat warmers going when I was ready to depart. Great customer service!

Extremely poor customer service and prices that are 4x higher than their competition. I called the 1-800 number and reserved a car for this location becuase I was not able to get the staff to answer the phone at the morganton branch.After I reserved the car a man called me from the branch and told that a car was not available and then fussed at me. He was extrememly rude and offered no solutions to my needs.I asked to speak to the manager and he stated that he was the manager. It was one of the single poorest customer service experiences that I have ever had. He said that he could rent me a similar car for more than 4x what I had originally booked a car for using their 1-800 number.I was able to rent a car from Avis in Hickory NC for 1/4 of what he wanted to charge me. I will never use Enterprise or this location again. I reported the issue to the corporate office

My experience was great until I went to return the car and was told they would have to charge me for another day. The guy who helped me when I picked the car up told me a lie and didn t own up to it - this costed money. Also beware they will try to charge you for things you don t need. I also hated that they are not open on Sunday s - this would not be a problem if you could park your car on the lot to pick up when you return. Just another scam to give you no choice but to rent the car another day....

Had a confirmation for a 15 passenger van and we called to check on it 2 days before and they don t have one. False advertisement and poor customer service. Always use Mike Johnson Toyota for rentals from now on! They could care less that they could ruin our Christmas vacation! But Mike Johnson to the rescue!

Doesn't post accurate availability, showed up at reserved time NO WORKERS ON THE PREMESIS. 10 minutes later when an employee showed up, mind you this is 3 pm, I was told they didn't have anything for me to rent. Attempted to escalate up the corporate ladder, and got no return call. 0 management

Well you went from a 5 star down to a two 2 star for me. It's bad when you have a worker with you and tells you what he can do for you the next time you come in but he wasn't there today. So the girls there now are just trying to pocket money. I just needed it for one day and sence they are not open on Sunday that I would have to pay for two days. That's not what JD told me so if you want my business back you better get rid of the two women up front that want to pocket money.

The reason for 2 stars instead of 1 star is because we had no issues in the past and always rented out a car from Enterprise; however today s experience will not gain us back as customers. They did not give us 100% customer satisfaction at all. We reserved the car 5-6 weeks ago and today when we went to go pick up the rental, they said we would not get the rental until the next morning but it also wasn t guaranteed that we would get it. They didn t call us or let us know in any way that we would not get our car rental. My father also went to Enterprise not once, but twice after making reservations to make sure we got it. In the end, we were disappointed. We won t be returning anymore.
