Our vehicle quit while going down the highway and we had it towed to Wayne s Auto Group. It took them a week to let us know it ran out of gas. The gauge was still reading that it had gas, but it did not. While patiently waiting without a vehicle for a week, we heard from a relative over the weekend that he saw one of the mechanics at a gathering and it was talked about that our vehicle ran out of gas. Sounded ridiculous that he would know this, but he in fact did, 4 days before us. They knew this for almost a week and never gave us a call. We had to call several times on the last day they had it in order to get an answer. They claimed they didn t know until that day, but that was a lie. Very dishonest experience. There are a list of repairs to be done, but we definitely don t feel we can trust Wayne s Auto Group.

They always do a great job and they're pretty quick too! I get my tires here also. They have fair prices.

What a great experience. My daughter s engine blew just as she was deploying. A neighbor referred us to Billy at Wayne s automotive what a pleasure they were to deal with. I would recommend this business to anyone needing automotive repair or tires. I took my vehicle in for an oil change and 'check-up'. I just returned from a 1,576 mile trip and wanted to be sure that all my parts and fluids were as they should be. I trusted that they would be honest and not try to make my believe I needed something that I really didn't.

Top quality workers are hard to find. Wayne's Auto has the best around hands down. I've been taking my vehicles there for years, will continue. Shane,Tara are the best people you can find in the area.

Phenomenal experience! Shane was able to squeeze me in late in the afternoon, after my car broke down. They were able to diagnose and fix my problem in a very short amount of time, which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Waynes Automotive because they re great staff and sevice.

My starter was going out. I scheduled an appointment for a diagnostic test. They confirmed it was my starter and got my car fixed within 1.5 hrs. Very professional and friendly front staff. And the price for parts and labor was not outrageous, it was actually cheaper than I was expecting. Very impressed and will be bringing my car back for any and all issues! Man, this is such a great place! I had an appointment at 10am. I had to have my alternator replaced. My vehicle was done by 1:30...did you hear me? 1:30!! You just can't beat the service! The guys and girls are A1 in my book!!!

UPDATE: I was contacted by Wayne's Automotive about the poor customer service and they have made it very clear to me that they wanted to do right by me. I have since returned there on one occasion, my wife went on another occasion, to see if things had changed and it seems that they have. They are doing a good work there and they have worked with me and my wife to provide a good service. I pray that they continue to do a good service both in work and in customer relations going forward.I used to go here often but a few months back I decided to call them up just as a second opinion to take my van for a diagnostic. The woman I spoke was courteous and gave me an estimate of under 40 dollars. When I left my vehicle to pick it up later, I was charged almost 60 dollars for it and the man (who had a hard enough time using the card reader) added something to the ends "Well I can charge you for their professional opinion" condescendingly inferring that he'd charge me more if I said anything else. I paid the outrageous price and made a point to not ever go there again for anything and to make sure everyone I know doesn't either. Next time (whoever you are) talk to your customers with a little more respect.

Wayne s team performed a very thorough maintenance check on our 2008 Nissan 350Z. The bill for services was reasonable. Their owner, Shane, receptionists and mechanics are top notch. Take your car here. You ll be glad you did.

These guys were absolutely fantastic all the way around. I had an issue on vacation and they handled it promptly and professionally. The counter people and technicians were very nice. Wayne's Automotive Group gave me a quick estimate and did good research to find parts for my old car. When the parts came in, they did the repair immediately and under the price quoted. They were very professional and friendly. I recommend them highly.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Missy in the front is very friendly and attentive! Shane was my mechanic and extremely knowledgeable. Had to replace my air compressor over a holiday weekend. They had to order in parts but had it ready by mid-Monday. Highly recommend!!!

Great business and friendly energenic staff.Stopped by to fix a flat. Very quickly came out and took the tire for examination. Couldn't repair it because of sidewall damage. Gentleman offered to get price for new tire but didn't push it. I declined because I was leaving town soon He checked the the air and lug nuts on my spare and all tires and sent us on our way at no charge.

Wayne's is the only place I'll bring my vehicles. They get me in on short notice without any issue. Service is always quick and the staff is always pleasant. Happy holidays to everyone at Wayne's and thank you for the great service.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND STAFF !!!!!!!!I am so grateful someone took the time to tell me about Wayne's Automotive. The owners, Shane and Tara Inman, love the Lord Jesus Christ and are not ashamed of that fact. I have been a customer for the past 3 years. I KNOW when I get my vehicle serviced there, the job is done correctly. Most of the same employees are the same ones from 3 years ago. And they seem like happy employees, that really blows me away. The fact is : Good employees are easy to get, but hard to keep. Treat them right and they will stay. Unexpected things like making time for me when I had a screw in sidewall of tire that could not be repaired. Shane, the owner, was in passenger side of tow truck when I had to be towed. I had called and requested 2 men, as my truck needed to be pushed out of my carport and down driveway. Tow truck was too big to fit back there. You normally do not have service like this in other places, I never did. THANK YOU, Shane and Tara Inman !

The people are very friendly. My vehicle was taken back shortly after I arrived and it didn't take long to finish. They are efficient and knowledgeable about what they do. They take the time to do it right and they check with you about anything else they find before going ahead and repairing it. I was going somewhere else, but will be coming here from now on. Waynes is a breath of fresh air in professional auto repair. Actions and not empty words should be their motto. Great diagnosis...Expert technicians..promises keptQuality on time repairs...and what is really pleasing is the work is done on time and within the budget....always under stated estimates..the best is that Popa Wayne is there as the the rock of the business and a knowledgeable reference resource...glad to have a business in the county that respects their customers !!!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim, Engine repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

Wayne's is always there when we need them. Our car is worked on within 24 hrs and the problem is always fixed. Highly recommend.

Took a ranger truck up there that I had recently put 3" lift keys and a setup(305/55r20) on. I had also just put a brand new front bumper on it. Everything was fine after the install, no rubbing or catching. But still, when I arrived to Wayne's, I warned them about the new bumper. The tech assured me everything would be fine and that he would leave the keys up as high as possible. Long story short, he did a shoddy job aligning my truck and he bent my new bumper. One of the keys is even up like 1/4" higher than the other lol. They attempted to bend and shim the bumper back into place and then told me to take it down the road to Stones auto body. They assured me I wouldn't have to pay for anything so I went. The owner I'm guessing, took a look at my truck and took down my name and number. He said he was ordering new bumper brackets and that I could come drop it off to him sometime soon. Nearly a month later and I call stones, he tells me that Wayne's isn't going to pay for the damage and to take it up with them. Really? Thanks for the heads up. I'll never take another vehicle to either business and neither should you if you're reading this.***update- I emailed them back kindly and briefly with my contact info. It has been over a week and still haven't heard from anyone. I've had better customer service at fast food establishments!

I will never forget my experience with this shop. This past winter I had them inspect a diesel truck I was interested in buyin'. The mechanic who looked at the truck said there were a couple minor problems, but the truck was in good shape overall, so I bought the truck. A month later, the truck developed a bad knock. I called them to see if they could look at it, come to find out 2 things:1. They do NOT work on diesels.2. They do NOT have the diagnostic equipment for diesels.Why they didn't mention this before they "inspected" the truck, I don't know. Ever since then, it's been one thing after another with the truck. Thanks to this shop, I bought a lemon.UPDATE: I contacted the email address that was given in their reply. 6 months later, I STILL ain't heard back from 'em. Just goes to show how little they care. Just another reason to do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

If you need a mechanic while in the Morehead City area, this is the place to call. Car trouble while on vacation is not good, but they took care of the problem in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely recommend this place.

New to the area and heard about them out of desperation. And I was not disappointed! They not only found the problem with my wife's van but also did what 3 mechanics could not on my truck! I highly recommend you try them.

Long story short, my girlfriend and I are driving up the east coast from Georgia. We started our journey in Michigan where we live, and have had a few shops check out our van before taking off. After getting a slight vibration in NC, we decided to take it in to a shop close to where we were staying. I explained our situation to Tiffany, and that we where traveling and living in our van, she asked for our keys and we waited. After about a half-an-hour, Kody told us we had very little to worry about and that we could continue our trip north and back to Michigan. They all where very professional, and super helpful considering our situation. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend 'Wayne's' to anyone in the area. They helped more than they know!!

Lifted my silverado and took it in for an alignment. They took the truck back and came back saying it needed new ball joints, inner and outer tie rods and a steering rack. Said OK and and choose not to have the work done there so ce they quoted almost 1700 bucks. I did the all joints myself check the tie rods and rack and didn't see anything wrong.. Took to a diff shop to have the alignment done and had them check out what the waynes shop told me about the rack and tie rods. They said there was nothing wrong with either. Called my buddy that has a shop over 3 and asked him about the rack and he said he never had to replace a rack. After alignment I still haven't had any issues. No I would not recommend this shop as they tried to gouge me wanting to do work that wasn't needed.

Don t go here! They will tell you something is wrong and it s not to try to replace BIG PARTS. I tried to charge me $900 for a Catylic converter. Come to find out there was just a hose loose and I ordered it for $25! The engine light is on because of the air coming thru the hose. An associate at WALMART FOUND THE ISSUE! They also left all of the screws and bolts loose to the cover of my motor. They actually already replace the catalytic converter and on my invoice it said alternator! They have no clue what they are doing and over pricing and telling lies to women.
