I'm writing this today to share my lovely experience at the walmart auto care service here in morehead city nc. Honestly this was the worst service I have ever had at any auto shop. I came here today to have one tire changed. They even had less work to do since I had the rim off the car. But yet it still took more then 2 hours to change one tire. My father was a manager of a shop for the longest time so I have seen a lot of work done to cars. There was no need of it taking two hours to change one tire. I can say I will never come back to walmarts auto care service after this experience.

Oil change was a breeze! Done in about 30 min. I even got to choose which synthetic oil I wanted and they added an additive I brought with me. They were nice to work and helpful with my extra requests! Great price too! $20 less than the competition.

I only go here to purchase tires and get my tires rotated and they buff and clean my lenses on my car. The customers that Walmart allows to patronage their business in the automotive department I can not deal with when I go there. There are just some things that I prepare for when I go to get my vehicle serviced for at Walmart automotive in Morehead City it is basically a dog and pony show with their customers so be prepared for a long wait and if you are a beautiful woman waiting for you car to get serviced they have customers at Wal-Mart that will stand there and stare and want to talk to you and you really do not want to be bothered. They feel like they own the whole Walmart and the automotive department. These die hard Walmart customers and patrons are something like Beyonce's bee hive fan club. If you are very very gorgeous and go to Walmart automotive you have Walmart beehive men and women customers swarming around you to try to sting or bite you. I run from the automotive department when these customers come. I run like Forest Gump! To anyone wanting to get an oil change do not go back there looking glamorous ladies these customers will try to breath on u, the customers will talk a beautiful women when they are not beautiful at all themselves. It is not the employees of automotive it is the customers they watch that area when beautiful women come in there. You will not believe these die hard Walmart beehive patrons and the extend they will go through to speak with beautiful women like myself. They will show you things in there Walmart basket they are purchasing clothing, food, clearance items and smile with missing teeth sometimes. Please beware these customers act as if they own this store. If you are beautiful just let them talk and do not smile back or say anything please you will be sorry if you do!

We had an emergency car situation and luckily Walmart car center was open. John and Lacey went over and beyond to help us!!! Would not hesitate to come back. Customer service like we experienced is rare and so appreciated. Thank you John and Lacey!

It's ok, not a bad exprience but its not exactly about that. You either get your vehicle taken care of or you dont. There isn't a gray area there. They don't do alignments so whats the point of getting new tires there? Sure you can get tires and shop while they are being balanced and installed. But as soon as you leave the store your life of the tire is just that much shorter... Although they've helped me out before swapping my spare with a new tire I bought for free which was super helpful!!

Charles was STELLAR!!! I on my way to the Walmart tire center for my scheduled appointment at 6:00 p.m. not realizing that I had received a text at 4:00 p.m. to state that my appointment had been canceled due to the tires not coming in. Charles went above and beyond and checked to see if perhaps the tires may have come in and in fact they were here! I left with my tires mounted and received the best customer service that I have received in a long time. Extremely satisfied customer and I will be back!!!Service: Auto maintenance

It was a bit of a challenge getting the assistance that i needed as I had many questions about the tires prior to purchasing. I made an appointment for the install and that part went well.

I can't speak for everyone else but they were not very busy and and fully staffed but it took over an hour to change a tire. The communication is not there. The man in charge apologized and said that no one told him that there was even a short job. The phone was ringing off the hook. Cashier kept disappearing. One guy was told to do my tire and he took it and literally gave it to someone else to do. The place was clean though.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, which is rare at Wal-Mart. It took a while but I walked in on a Saturday so that's something I had expected. Great price on 4 tires. I'm happy and have no complaints. I'll definitely be back when I need 4 more.

They do a great job and help you find what you need! Don't be scared to ask questions because they're very willing to help. From tires, to oil changes and everything in between.

The service was great! I needed new tires and the manager Scott took good care of me. He knew I wasn't sure about what I needed or wanted and he walked me step by step with patience and care. The price was less than I expected and I got so much more.

For the third time, asked why outside windows were not washed & why interior was not vacuumed. Hateful Aimee, stated, vacuuming was halted due to covid but couldn't explain why the windows weren't cleaned & didn't offer to have them cleaned. Wife also had her oil changed, same day, again, no window cleaning & no vacuuming. We did not get the pit crew oil change, but, the one that Walmart charges extra for the additional service, or vacuuming & outside windows cleaned. I'm posting this everywhere possible, shouting it from the mountain tops & going to have a face to face with Walmart manager in Morehead City, NCFolks, just get the pit crew change because that's all you're getting at Walmart in Morehead City anywayService: Oil change

I wish I could give ZERO stars, do not go here unless you have more than 3 hours to kill even for the simplest work on your car. Once waited over 3 hours to get a tire plugged. Another time went first thing in the morning and there were 6 people waiting in line, it took 30 minutes waiting for 3 people to be booked in finally me and the lady behind me gave up and left. But not before a RUDE Walmart representative practically yelled at another lady in line for complaining about the time we were sitting there not being helped. If you have time to spare by all means but if not take your business elsewhere.

Went in at 730 with one cat in front of me. Told that it would take an hour. After two hours it was pulled in and the service guys went on break. The one guy that was out on the so was just standing there for another ten minutes. I asked and reminded them I had to get the car back to my wife for her work. And thirty minutes and it was finally pulled out. Of course the spare was not done like I asked either. Would not recommend their service. But your tires carry them somewhere else.

Only provide walk in services. First associate clearly dislikes her job but was ok with helping me. Sunday morning shift was quick and getting text updates is helpful. Store is clean and there is a small waiting area with a tv and public WiFi (if you want the risk). Walmarts website/app needs to some bug fixes and wasn't helpful at all. Just call them for questions.

Drove from New Bern to have new tires installed. We called in advance to verify they had what we needed. They confirmed. An hour after they pulled in our vehicle they called to say they could only put on tires if we had sensors put in. We agreed. They called again 20 minutes later to tell us they didn't have our tires in stock. Won't be returning. Definitely need new employees.

These Walmart employees work hella hard and due to the pandemic, "We the people" have got to be patient! As a hard working local I understand the struggle of being understaffed due to this pandemic. The next time I see someone disrespecting these workers all because they are in a rush..... anyway... Keep working hard ladies and gents, you all are doing great!

Worst service ever. Came in to get a simple trailer tire replaced and it took them over an hour. Stood in line to ask how much longer it would be, man running desk said he didn t know they hadn t got to mine yet. Came back and stood in line to tell them to cancel my order and i was gonna go somewhere else and he said we can fix it now we just had to wait for keys. But while i was standing in line he proceeded to help the ones behind me worst service ever for something that would take 5 mins

I only wanted to return an old battery for the core refund! I waited at register with nobody else anywhere around, ( customer or employee). There were 2 guys working in shop and 1 came to window 3 times and never said anything to me. We made eye contact everytime but he never spoke to me! This is crazzyyy! I would not recommend this business!

Yeah, lowest prices on tires and also lowest rating on technicians. Bickering hollering staff flitting in the work bay from one car to another and not completing a job before a few hours wait. If you dont mind the theory of 'you get what you pay for' then you'll be fine here. Tires wobble like a clown car but price was great

Came in and they sold me tires and went back the next day and they told me those tires wouldnt fit and charged me an extra $75 for tires. The guy Charles very very rude and not helpful or would not willing to change there mistake. Will never never come back to this walmart service center and I will stir people away.

Its not my own experience but my mothers. She went in at 939 to get new tires put on that were ordered. She was still there at 1:00, so I went there. The work did not get completed until 1:39 UNACCEPTABLE.

Was able to get a last minute oil change before going out of town and I didn't have to make appointment. They were very prompt and professional, I highly recommend them.

Tires were affordable, employees were friendly and helpful. Tire change took about 2 hours but it's a busy place based on walk-ins. Happy with the service

Quick oil change, and I was able to step into the mechanic area and talk to the mechanic myself on other issues going on with my car, and I received good advice as Walmart auto care center is only limited to the superficial mechanical issues nothing else.

Aimee was informative, pleasant & very helpful. I arrived a little after 8am, there were 3 people ahead of me & it only took an hour...fast service. I will return & highly recommend.

Two stars may be a little unfair but after waiting in line and answering 20 questions I found that a flat repair was over 2 hours away. I did not stay.

3 hours to put one tire on a rim with no cars ahead of me? Ridiculous. Shorties used tires changed all 4 in 30 min with one person ahead of me. Dont go here for anything you dont want to take half a day.

Apparently, if you want the Mobile1 annual (17000 mile) synthetic oil change, you have to go buy the oil and filter, check out and then wait over an hour and that is if the Auto center can do the oil change. Yes, we know we are going to pay more. But if the store has the oil and filter, why can't it be rung up all at the same time. So I may buy my oil at Walmart but they won't service any of my vehicles again.
