I so regret going here. I went in to fix a tire leak and while I was there they mentioned my wiper blades needed to be replaced. I asked what it would cost and was told $46 plus labor. I didn't think that was unreasonable so I agreed. When it came time to pay the bill, the cost was over $220. Huh?! Turns out the wiper blades were $46 each. And this was September last year. Before all of this recent inflation. Anyway, just now... I opened my car's hood to refill the windshield washing fluid and guess what I found? The old wiper blade had been left laying right under my wipers. This explains why one of them wouldn't go down all the way.

Phil and his team were super helpful to me. I am a college student who was not familiar with the area. I had an issue with my car and needed it looked at quickly before going back to school. Phil looked at it right away and made sure my car was safe to drive!

Best customer service; reminds me of the good ole days when businesses appreciated their customers as opposed to being inconvenienced by them & treating them as such. They know what they re doing & want to make sure your vehicle leaves there in a safe condition.

I recently experienced a nail in my tire and upon calling, was promptly advised to come in. The team not only checked the affected tire but, without any prompt from me, inspected all four tires. They discovered two nails and sidewall damage, which was unexpected. Impressively, they also pointed out that despite the ample tread (owing to my car s low mileage for its age), the tires had actually expired in 2015. As I was out of town, I opted to replace the one tire and planned to address the rest upon returning home. The staff was not only friendly and thorough but also remarkably efficient. Their helpfulness and quick service truly stood out. I highly recommend their services for anyone in need of tire assistance.

I highly recommend this Mr. Tire location. Phil and his team are professional, honest and very knowledgeable. My daughter was visiting the area and had unexpected car trouble. I was concerned about her driving back to Raleigh (NCSU) at night but she couldn't wait until Monday to have her car repaired. Phil was able to get her in at 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon. They were able to diagnose and fix the issue within an hour and got her on her way. She had a safe and trouble free trip back to school. I spoke with the gentleman (Jared and Phil) at the counter, told him blatantly that it s hard being local and always using my grandfathers guy for tires. Told them it was difficult to trust a franchise but I keep coming back because they re honest, they don t throw fast-paced sales speech and add-on plans at you, and when they offered hazard protection (for the 5th nail of the year), they explained in detail what the coverage handled and the prorated rates for my current situation and tread- and let me make my decision. I was slammed with work to catch up, offered free WiFi, water, and brought me back to see the issues before even asking if I wanted them to replace the tire. For a local who always used the same guy, Mr. Tire had great customer service, felt local , were knowledgeable, prompt, educated, informative, and fair-market prices. Highly recommend. I never do reviews, but it s Christmas and affirmation and appreciation when deserved is the easiest thing I can provide. Thank you to Phil, and Merry Christmas.

Another great experience at Mr. Tire. Staff super friendly and helpful and service done efficiently while I waited. Mr. Tire is my go to service provider for my vehicle.HQ of Mr. Tire - Please take note - the interior of the building (waiting area, etc) needs to be redone! Way overdue! Luckily I usually see the team in spring/summer or fall - so I can sit outside as the inside is really uncomfortable and dismal and looks like it hasn't been touched since the 80's. A few dollars to redo this always busy business is well warranted.

Crooks wouldn t let them work on my skate board paid 700$ for a part that was 30$ and everyone told me I was scammed and turns out they broke a part to charge me more ablouslte crooks and stole my money everyone said it would be 300$

A little on the pricey side but thankfully had a friend with me who is a veteran and I was given a military discount that made it not as bad. And I love the free tire rotation for the life of the tires !

Had a great experience with Mr. tire today. On my way to work this morning I was greeted with a large screw in my tire. I had purchased the tires (and wisely had chosen to purchase the insurance plan) a year or so ago from this same location so the repair was completely free! Additionally, the repair was completed within an hour which is impressive without an appointment. I ve also had wonderful experiences with state inspections here as well. Each time I ve gone in I ve worked with Steve who has always been very up front with services being performed. Steve always gives comprehensive explanations on the work being completed. Highly recommend.

Dropped in for an inspection and to have a tire plugged. Patrick was great! They took care of everything quickly. It s also nice to have a clean place to sit while you wait!

Dropped by today needing a tire plugged as I was leaking air pretty quickly. I was told I could not be seen as they were too busy. Asked if I could be worked in and was told no. Then asked if they could recommend someone who could help me as I am from out of town. Manager told me he was from Jacksonville and could not help me. Never again would I go there.

My experience was disappointing. Wouldn't install the new tires because he claimed the vehicle wouldn't clear the bay. They wouldn't leave it outside and use a floor jack either. Apparently just not the way they do things.I went down the street to Shorty's and had the new tires on in 20 minutes. They used floor jacks...

Wish I could give them zero stars. Insanely slow service. They just rob people of their money and do poor work. Would not let them work on my bicycle much less my car again.

This place is full of men trying to take advantage of women. I will never come back. I called ahead to price some things before deciding to bring my car there, dropped my car off, expecting to pay $400-500 maybe, based on what they told me. Then they called me trying to tell me it d be almost $1400! One of the things needing to be done was an oil change/tire rotation, which they told me over the phone earlier in the day would be $50-$75, they already did so I just asked them to stop after the oil change & not do any other work. I paid $92 for that oil change, absolutely ridiculous!

I am making this review in favor of my mother who dealt with Mr. tires in Morehead city North Carolina she was told by the technicians she needed to motor mounts. He said he could do it for 400+ when her other mechanic told her she needed three for 1200+ so she decided to go with Mr. tires, he told her he could do it right then while she was in the she let them do the work while she and my sister didn t Aaron was back within a And the car was out front ready when she got there. She said that s strange was awfully quick fine she paid. She left later. She looked at her bill to find out. It only said one motor that was done. It was less than an hour that she was gone, she confronted them the next day, she was then told no they only said one motor mount why was it still 400+ for one motor mount oh that was labor no the labor is only 100 and some dollars an hour and it was less than an hour so how does that compensate for the $400 that she was charged? Needless to say she will not be going back to Mr. tires and they have a thumbs down from us from now on I had heard many stories regarding Mr. tired, taken advantage of women and senior citizens as they come into the building I don t believe all the stories I ve heard as they have taken advantage of my mother and he kept on trying to get her to go to the bank. I see the technician said to her to get more money to pay for her bill or put it on a credit card or open an account or whatever else they was trying to get her to do, they will not see her back in their business ever again thumbs down.

Just needed a quote on an alternator and they said it's policy for me to bring my car in. I made another call right down the street. Got what I needed and let the other place fix it. Don't go here. They will try to nickel and dime you to death.

What a Wonderful experience!!! Who knew having a nail in your tire could be so enjoyable!!!! Every employee was kind, attentive,personable, helpful, and competent!!!I was assisted at 4:30 and out the door by 5:10 with a new tire ...Amazing service!!!Thank You Mr. Tire of Morehead City

Steve, Phil & the team at Mr. Tire did a phenomenal job for us. Our car broke down while on vacation, and these guys had us up & running the same day (over Labor Day weekend). Fair, honest, and friendly service. Highly recommend!

We woke up the first morning of vacation to a flat. They had us come right by to drop off the tire while we went to breakfast at Cook's. By the time we were done with breakfast they had it plugged and ready to go back on the car. 30 minutes later we're on the road and ready to enjoy the day just 40 bucks lighter. Everyone was super nice and we actually enjoyed the visit! Thanks guys!

The customer service is top notch, and I've been pleased with all of the repairs. None have felt unnecessary or extortionist. In fact, they've been quick to advise against unnecessary work to save money. That makes the company feel more reliable and trustworthy.

A few years ago I had a bad experience with one of the guys working in the front, telling me that I need new tires when clearly I did not! I felt disrespected because I was a woman and nothing makes me anymore angry when they try to take advantage of women! Today, I decided to give them another chance, well that was a MISTAKE!My vehicle was giving me a low tire pressure warning on one tire so I wanted to drop it off. When the guy comes out, he immediately starts looking at all of the tires and says in this condescending tone, "These tires are about 6 years old you're going to need new tires". I replied, "No, they are 8 months old, obviously, you don't even know anything about tires! I came here to get a tire fixed"The smart a** look on his face, was enough for me! I said a few choice words, I got in my vehicle and I drove off.STOP TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN! Chances are, we know more about vehicle and tires than you do. I will NEVER bring any vehicle to Mr. Tire again.
