We've purchased 3 Subarus from Randy Marion (WRX and Outbacks), with 2 having over 100k miles. The cars have proven reliable and cost efficient. The service from the staff is always best in class. I recently wanted to get Starlink set up in my 2017 Subaru Outback, as my daughter is getting her license and will be the primary driver. It required a DCM update that was under warranty, but I couldn't recall getting notification. Jessica M. provided a quote and contact so I could set up a case to make a claim. She helped schedule the service and ensured the replacement fixed the issue where the passenger window could not be operated from the drivers side. She understood how important safety was for my child, and was patient with me and all my questions. And she saved me hundreds of $, which will hopefully offset the increase cost of insurance adding a new driver. I really appreciate Jessica and all the staff willingness to help, their courtesy, and work to ensure all our cars are on the road for many more miles. It's important to me as a mom that safety is top of mind as my baby is getting ready to drive. I feel more at ease knowing this dealership and their staff remember that and demonstrate such care with each visit I make.

This dealership exemplifies first class standards from first look to sale completion. My salesman, Frank Tilghman, was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He made me feel at ease throughout the car buying process. He answered phone calls promptly and with the answers I needed. The finance portion of the process was top notch as well, thanks to Ron. Let me start off with some important information. I am the type of person who walks into a dealership knowing EXACTLY what I want and nothing else.I knew when I got in the car to go to Randy Marion Subaru which car I wanted to test drive. Nick was fantastic! He grabbed the keys to the car and we were driving it in no time. He did not try to upsell me or sway my decision to the "more expensive" cars. He understood that I was there for one car and one car only.Although they were busy, Nick did not let us slip through the cracks and get left behind. He made sure we were watered as we waited our turn for the paperwork guys.All of the people at Randy Marion were fun and extremely nice, but I highly recommend asking for Nick. He knows his cars and even more importantly, he is honest when he doesn't know an answer to your question, but he will find it out.

This was a super-buying experience. We used the Costco Members Auto Buying Program to purchase a Subaru Forester Limited and this was Costco's local affiliated Subaru dealership. They were flexible even beyond Costco Member prices to ensure we got the best competitive deal in the area. In the end, we were able to purchase the car and an eight-year protection plan for our targeted monthly payment and loan term. Most all of this was done via email.The car was delivered to the dealership on time and everyone we met at the dealership was friendly, helpful, and professional. Jason, Brian, and Ron were very attentive and paid close attention to our wants and needs, surpassing all of our expectations. Jason (Sales Agent) is continuing to follow up to ensure our satisfaction with the car and to help with any questions. I can see why Randy Marion Subaru is Costco's Subaru dealership of choice in this area.

I came in today with my friend to help her purchase a 2016 Honda Civic. I have previously purchased a Subaru at the Subaru Concord location and had a wonderful experience- our experience here surpasses that. Frank was friendly from the get-go and Ronnie (business manager) was pleasant and helpful. Buying a new car can be tedious for anyone, they definitely lived up to the Subaru name and made going to their dealership a pleasant experience.Thank you for the laughs and thank you for the joy ride of the STi (I wish I could get it)!

We worked with Carmen, our salesman, and Ron with finances. Both were great in helping us trade in for a newer car! Carmen was knowledgeable on what we test drove, he was patient, and we didn't feel pressured to purchase - which made a huge difference!They were both accommodating for us not coming prepared with a check; and made the process of paperwork as painless and possible. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to get a Subaru!

Kathryn serviced my vehicle yesterday. (She is does a SUPER job !) Another great experience! I live quite a distance from this service location, and tried taking my car to a Valvoline closer to my home the day before definitely learned my lesson. There may be other Subaru dealerships closer to me but for the level of service, expertise, courtesy, and overall experience, I ll continue to drive back to Mooresville (where Ben sold us the car), to handle ALL our service needs from here on out. Wow. The customer service here is absolutely amazing! I took my mom out car shopping, and our second stop was Randy Marion Subaru. We were blessed to have John Foley as our sales representative. Hands down, one of the best reps I've ever worked with, having bought and sold many vehicles, myself. He was very patient with my mother. He answered all her questions, let her take her time, and made her feel very comfortable. Literally took her step-by-step on every single thing about her new car! The finance department and service department were also extremely helpful. 10 out of 10, highly recommend. Ask for John Foley.

So first off, let me tell you I hate buying cars. Talking to a car salesman in my mind is almost as bad as repeatedly smashing my hand with a hammer. With that said, this was by far the most enjoyable car buying experience that I have ever had. Each and every individual that I dealt with there didn t treat me like they were a salesman and I was a customer. They treated me like we were friends, and that I was coming to buy a vehicle from one of my friends. There wasn t a bunch of haggling or arguing over price. I told them what we could afford what we needed. They worked it out for us. We got the car we wanted at the price we wanted. If that is the type of experience you want, this is the place you need to go. Now, of course, when you walk in there, you can tell him Jennifer sent you, but I think based on the experience I had you may be better off telling them Dan Maples sent you.

We had a good experience atRandy Marion Subaru. Vince the salesman was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the vehicle.Everyone we had contact with were professional and made us feel right at home. I had already prepared myself by visiting another Subaru dealer, researching the vehicle and was aware of pricing and allowances for the value of my trade in. I feel like we made a fair deal and we got the vehicle we wanted. I will reccomended this dealership to my friends and family. Thank you

The best service department I have ever used. Their service personnel are pleasant and communicate very well as to the car issues, fixes, cost, and time required for repair. They go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied with their repairs. The technicians are well trained as I ve never had to return my car for things not having been done right the first time. Their manager has also given me great service. They are the best!

I never thought I'd buy a Subaru. My dad was a Ford man and I was a Honda girl. I was so impressed with the Subaru Outback, price and features, keeping an eye open now for one for my son! Jason and the team made my experience so easy and seamless- couldn't ask for any better! Loving this car!

***Edit Review on 1-16-2024***I'm editing my review based on the effort of Bobby Myers at the dealership. Bobby reached out to me to discuss the issues and apologize for our negative experience. I've increased the star rating based on our conversation and his efforts to communicate with the customer after the sale.My wife and I purchased a vehicle from this dealership at the end of December 2023.I found a used vehicle online that was a good price and had the features we were looking for. I called the dealership to confirm the vehicle was available before making the 45 minute drive. The sales person I spoke to said that it was available and they could get it ready for us to test drive.When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted by the sales person. He formed us that the vehicle had a malfunctioning side mirror, and the dealership had put too much money into the vehicle already and would not repair it. The vehicle would be sold as-is if we were interested. This problem was not listed on the website, nor did the sales person call us back to inform us of the issue while we were driving to the dealership.But he was nice enough to pull some information on a few other vehicle starting at $4000 more than the vehicle we were looking at. I definitely feel this was a bait-and-switch situation. An honest phone call would have gone a long way before we arrived.The dealership also tries to charge a $880 for a special coating to protect the vehicle. This special coating is installed on all cars not as a request from the buyer.I say all this, but after our frustrations with the sales person and dealership practices, we did enjoy the other vehicle and it had a few more bells and whistles, and came with a warranty.My review is based solely on how the issue was handled and not on any vehicle service.This would not be the first dealership I would send people and would have to greatly consider a lot of options before returning.The dealership does have a good selection, and I hope they can get these type of issues straightened out so other people are not affected.

Jason and the entire Randy Marion crew made my experience extremely enjoyable and more pleasant than any other dealership experience I ve ever had. Very hard to get service to answer their phone.Only folk that have touched this new car has been this dealership. Upon my review of the service paperwork next day I see that a wheel was missing a lug nut, the stud was damaged and replacements recommended. Stud was not replaced. I was charged $7 for a replacement nut.This all follows their installation of new tires several months ago after which the car vibrated excessively. I took it in for investigation and "highway speed" road test. Their highway speed was stop & go along Plaza Drive (maybe up to 45 MPH for a few seconds?) and they reported nothing was wrong. Took back in the next day, different rep took initiative, and we learned ALL FOUR tires were poorly balanced and rotors needed turning, after which ride was niice.

After our 2019 Subaru Forester was rear ended in December 2023, our search for a replacement car led us to the Costco car-buying program. We were then referred to the Randy Marion dealership in Mooresville. Our initial contact was through the internet. Aaron Rourk responded quickly and as per our description of what we were searching for in a new Subaru, sent us descriptions of 3 available Foresters. We did other searches online for available cars but kept coming back to the RM dealership info. We were very direct and wanted to know the out the door price and Aaron cut to the chase and provided us numbers. After comparing what we found online from other sources, we zeroed in on RM s offers. We exchanged a few emails and decided one of his 3 original offerings was our best choice. We accepted a price and put a down payment on a Crimson Pearl Red Forester by phone. The next day, we went to Mooresville to test drive, purchase, and drive our new vehicle home. The whole process was efficient and quick. Aaron was very accommodating to all our wishes and needs. At no time did he or any other RM employees put any pressure on us to buys any extras or any coverages we did not want. The process was painless and as quick as we have ever experienced. Kudos to Aaron and his compadres for taking care of details and tying up loose ends. Definitely 5 -star service and quality. Aaron even told us where go get an excellent dinner at Big Tiny s BBQ in downtown Mooresville after we completed our transaction. Thanks for a great experience, Aaron.We will be back to see you guys soon for more great service!

Service department deserves 5 stars, hands down! However, I give 3-4 stars because Randy Marion charges 3% if you use a credit card. I d be more understanding with mom and pop shops but not for a region-wide system of dealerships, especially those who pay too much on advertising. I have an older Subaru and a large repair plus 3% could add significantly to the cost, and I worry I won t have the cash available.

My experience with these people has been nothing short of a nightmare. I have even been brought to tears in frustration. I can't believe how complicated and uncomfortable it has been trying to make such an important purchase, one that should be pretty straightforward. My first dealings have been with a shady man named Frank. He lied to me over and over about the car I wanted, especially accordance to its availability. He gave me nothing but false information and hope. Baited me to take my valuable time and effort to travel all the way to the dealership even though he knew what I wanted was not there or possible. He refused to listen to the specifications I required, no matter how much I repeated them. The way he speaks is the most stereotypical "sketchy and sexist car salesman". He blew up my phone with unnecessary things. I asked multiple people to remove me from his list and I keep getting pawned off on him no matter what I do. Literally had to block his number. I had hope for the second man I worked with but he was uncommunicative and also misleading, especially when I really needed to fit into a short and rare preorder window. I recently checked back in with him and he again tried to pawn me off on Frank, claiming he didn't keep me updated due to not "wanting to step on his toes". I even got in contact with a manager to try and take over my sale because these other guys can't seem to get it together and he promised me he would and yet I never heard from him again. I have been begging and pleading for someone there to help me or keep me updated about the car I want and I have been the one to reach out and get the runaround. I can't believe that Im trying to give these people my very precious life savings and I can't even throw it at them. I was nothing but polite and patient and it takes so much to speak up for myself in this way now. I just wanted to go somewhere close to home but now I bet ANYWHERE else will be less horrendous than this clown circus.

Tom Gilbert at Randy Marion Subaru went above and beyond the call of duty in repairing our Outback and working with the extended warranty company, as well as supplying a loaner vehicle when the repair was taking longer than hoped. He was always quick to respond to calls or messages and kept us completely in the loop. We could not recommend him more highly!

UPDATE:After posting my review, I received a notification to please call. I was impressed that the response was so immediate, and then I was very impressed that my concerns were listened to and then dealt with to my satisfaction. This stellar customer service is what brings people back to your business. Thank you!I came in to have a diagnostic of my engine light. It revealed a gas cap needed to be replaced. If the repair was done there, they would waive the diagnostic fee of $119.00I left paying a bill of $176.00 for the cost and "labor" of installing a gas cap.Everyone was pleasant and I no longer have an issue with my car but SERIOUSLY???????
