My husband purchased a set of tires last week and there was a bad vibration. Called the store and then went back. They balanced the tires but there was still a vibration. He went back to return the tires to get a different set, and the store tried to charge him full price plus the warranty. When my husband asked why the cost was so much and was told the warranty was added. My husband requested the warranty be taken off but the amount was still too much. They tried to charge him the full price for the new set of tires instead of charging him the difference in price between the two sets. After my husband insisted on only paying the difference between the two sets, a manager came out and finally charged my husband the correct price. This is the second time this situation has happened at this store with two different vehicles. We will not be returning to this store again. Another issue we have is that when you are quoted for the price of tires, the warranty is automatically added to the cost. They are not asking customers if they want a warranty, just adding it on to the price.

Spencer did my tires truly gave discount my business in the future. What great work ethic on this young man.He is killing it.Cody was awesome with service and getting my tires for both vehicles here.I had a terrible previous experience at the Denver location and these 2 guys definitely changed the way perception I had of discount and I am 1000% satisfied with my new tires.

So I have an older Tacoma, and needed new tires. I always ran the BFG TA KO2 s on it, but I wanted to change it up this time and go with the KM3 s (more aggressive mud tires). Devon from discount tire was awesome! They had the KM3 s on my truck within less than an hour. Devon gave me a voucher to get my truck aligned right down the street. Everything was excellent. Fast forward to about month after I had put the new KM3 s on my truck. They were too loud for my everyday interstate driving. I was kinda bummed, because I thought that I was just stuck with them. Took my truck back up to Discount Tire to see Devon again and he hooked me up! He was able to switch the tires back to the TA KO s that I was accustomed to (much quieter). This place is very professional and will have you out of the door in no time. I would recommend and will be using them going forward in the future for all my tire needs. Thank you, again Devon!

I ve been a customer coming for years for many sets of tires for all sorts of my own cars, company cars and word of mouth for coworkers/friends. The last couple times have not been such great experiences giving them the benefit of the doubt, the last time I went I hopped in the Mustang with tire grime all over the steering wheel, shifter, hand brake and the seat was filthy. I let them know and they were no help whatsoever. This is the last time I come to discount tire.

Service and knowledge. This tire shop was more than just that. They offer many services. I went in for my two rear tires to be swapped. I brought my own tires and it was a Saturday. Thw wait was about 30 to 45 minutes but as a walk in customer that's pretty good. Jeep up the great work guys.

This location is one of the worst. Damaged wheels multiple times. Just like the Denver/Lincolnton location. And WHY would you use permanent market on my $500 wheel? You're supposed to mark the freakin' TIRE. Not the wheel. Between this pointless permanent marker doodle on my wheel, tires being mounted backwards, TPMS sensors being damaged pointlessly and wheels being damaged... I will NEVER be returning to this joke of a shop. Filled with talentlessness, carelessness and ego. Inconsideration for others property. I'm sick of it. The only thing these teams can do constantly well is putting air in a tire. Other than that, you're being scammed and/or gambling with the condition of your property.(See my other review of the other location for more)

Good customer service and good prices on tires, although extra fees rack the cost up quick. A pair of $70 tires ended up being $250 mounted. They're also behind on the estimated time for completion. The employees seem to be good at explaining issues to other customers and recommending service as needed, haven't seen them rip anyone off either, just genuinely good advice and stuff that's in line with what I've learned working in the automotive industry, so good on them for that

I had a really great experience, today!My husband usually brings the car in but he was tied up so it gave me a chance to drop off and walk to the nearby stores.Dago was really great! He made sure my tire balance and rotation was done quite quickly. I highly recommend this location!

I never do reviews I ve maybe done 3 in my adult life because I had excellent service but today I had the worst experience ever. Very rude customer service, they treated me as if I was going to steal all the tires when I m pretty sure my salary is all of theirs combined. It was just a really bad experience. I was the only black person in the store and when they gave me the quote for the tires they said we have financing. Now mind you 4 people were in line before me they were not black and their quote was higher than mine but they didn t offer them financing. Jose, Austin, and Joe I will be contacting corporate.

On 2/16/24 I ordered a tire for my brand new Honda Pilot due to a nail puncture. I went over the model of the tire EXPLICITLY with Discount Tire over the phone (A Michelin Primacy A/S 255/50 R20). I even clarified that it did NOT have the word "Tour" on the tire when they read it back to me wrong. Tire came later that day..install appt set for 2/19/24. Went to pick it up..walked to car and noted it was in fact the "tour" that they ordered and installed (different tread and variation of side wall grooves, slightly more expensive tire). I had to leave but i let them know and they looked into it for a few minutes. We all realized it was likely due to car mfr having a slightly different version, but that IS why the mfr. put the word "TOUR" on the newer one...because it IS different. And I already cautioned against ordering that one. They promised to look into and help resolve. NO phone calls from them for the past week. I called back twice in the past week and was told someone was working on it. I was EVEN told that they were able to track down a couple of the correct tires but that they are going out of production. That sounded promising and I was told they'd get back to me...again. 1wk later from when the problem began.....nothing. I've put 200 miles on the wrong tire and just found out Honda could have done the RIGHT tire for LESS and WITH a hazard warranty!!!!!! NO matter what happens...I will most likely have to return to Discount due to their mistake and STILL have a worse deal than a car dealer will give me. At this point....y'all can just give me the other 3 matching tires...this is ridiculous.**Update 2/27/24 - still no reply from Discount...will have to call AGAIN as I will have to travel and put hundreds of miles on this wrong tire so that if/when they actually correct this (or if I have to go to Honda and get it done cheaper with included hazard coverage) I will have an even greater potential gap in tread and speed / pressure reporting from the other 3 tires. Thanks Discount Tire!**

Called yesterday for a quote and they were so kind walking me through their different price points. That conversation alone was the deciding factor to go with Discount Tire. Showed up first thing this morning and was greeted by everyone, again given different options, and was out with new tires on my car in under an hour (without an appt). My family just moved here this year and we ll definitely be using them again!

Love Discount Tire. Ive purchased most of my tires there for the last decade. Great staff. Always helpful and friendly and will to go above and beyond. Only suggestion would be to clean up a bit at the end of the day. I was here when the doors opened this morning and the showroom is filthy. Floors haven t been swept in a while. Crumbs all over the tables. Water cooler completely empty and the men s bathroom was horrible. You guys go above and beyond with customer service and the facility should compliment that. Hopefully just a one time oversight.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Chris helped out today and did not have a problem discussing options with my dad over the phone. I like that they show you the tire options along with the prices. Didn t try to upsell me which I appreciated. Staff made sure to give me my wheel lock back! Had issues in the past with other shops misplacing it. All 4 tires replaced in 30 minutes. You guys are awesome!

10 stars would be appropriate We got a nail in our brand new vehicle just ours after purchasing it It was to late to go back to the dealership so the people at this location said we are not letting you leave without fixing it for you (safety of course). 40 minutes later back on the road we were in addition to that we didn t get charged which I thought was very kind It s good to know you have selfless helpful businesses around I highly recommend them for all you tire needs.. thanks

This store was a lifesaver on December 19th for me and my family. We were traveling back home and had a flat tire on I77. Couldn t get home on the spare due to being 3+ hours and way to any miles to run at highway speeds. The guys at the store were so helpful and even though they were super busy they were friendly and had us back on the road a hour and half later. Never been to a Discount Tire before as we just had a store open in our area but the next time I need tires, I m going to Discount. The customer service seems to be a high priority and that is rare to find today. Sorry to be so long but just wanted to let everyone know how much the Mooresville store helped us out and how much we appreciated them being so wonderful and understanding our desperate situation with a severely autistic kid. Thanks again!!!

Called an hour before close regarding a flat tire. They told me to come right in even though I was 20 mins away. Everyone was so nice and they had a tire on for me in less than 30 mins. I really appreciate the service at this Discount Tire.

First I bought tires from them and when I got home noticed they had put a cheaper tire on that I paid for. Went back had them put on the tires on ordered. Now I have a balance issue. Called them to set up an appointment, was told I couldn t make an appointment after five. Devon was rude and unprofessional. So rude to the point I want the extra money I paid for warranty back because I will not return there. People have to work hard for tires now and the last thing we need is for an employee to be rude and unprofessional.

Been using discount tire for years and have had nothing but good experiences. I take both my work and personal cars there. They treat me and my wife with the respect every time. They don t try to rip you off and honor appointments. When they didn t have the original tire I order they asked what was important to me in a tire and made an in stock recommendation that was only 10 dollars more. Love this place!

Thank you for being honest, helpful and kind. I got my oil changed at another business and they brought it to my attention that I had a screw in my back tire. The screw was angled in a way that wouldn't allow a patch and they didn't have my tire in stock and homegirl has to get to work the next day and is in a panic. The gentleman at this location was able to remove the screw and spray water to determine there wasn't a leak. He saved me $300 (quote from prior location) to replace two back tires on an AWD vehicle the same week rent was due. I am so grateful and when I do need to replace my tires, they have my business for not taking advantage of me when I needed the universe to give me a break. I paid it forward and bought a hungry person a meal and I hope the universe blesses this gentleman for being kind and honest.
