I used to go to tire town which is now gone... sad. They had the cheapest oil changes and prices anywhere. I did a little research and found tuffy to be the most reasonableI decided to bring my car in for an oil change. I was greeted by the staff when I entered. They asked how I was and made me feel like I was at home. The guy behind the counter gathered my info and ran out to the car to get the plate number. I was told it would be about a 1.5hr wait because they were busy, so I was good with that. They also told me the price before I sat down. As I waited, I got a text for the estimate of work the car needed. It wasn't much, but I'm glad they brought it to my attention now rather than just letting it go. I said to do the work and they told me it would be a lottle longer as they had to order the parts.In all, I am 100% satisfied with the work, communication, and price. I'll be coming back whenever I need something done.

My experience with Tuffy Tires and Auto Service has been satisfactory. I had them replace a cooling thermostat a few months ago and last week my engine light came on and a diagnostic check revealed it was the thermostat. I showed up at Tuffy Tires and Andrew the owner confirmed this component should last at least 7 years and had me leave my vehicle. Within a few hours I receipt a notification that my vehicle was ready and the attached invoice stated $0.Upon picking my vehicle up I was informed that the parts and the labor were both under warranty and therefore all services for that day had no charge. Although a faulty unit was put in my vehicle, Tuffy Tires will stand by there work and make things right. I would definitely take my vehicle to them again in the future.

Fast, reliable service and friendly atmosphere! Very affordable prices compared to others local and major shops. They also don t haggle and pressure you to get unnecessary services, while at the same time, they do a thorough inspection and suggest maintenance. I definitely recommend and I will be returning soon. I felt valued as a customer, which is rare to find anywhere today so thank you.

Mike and his team at Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center in Monroe are the best. For the first time in a long time my car feels and drives like its brand new. This showed me that other places are not doing what they should be doing for a service. Mike doesn't just try and sell you a service you don't need but thoroughly checks over your vehicle and advises you of what is needed and why. 10 Stars to Mike and his crew. Highly recommended!!!

Great service, super friendly people here. I have always had a great experience at Tuffy's and this one is no different. Got my car repaired and some preventative maintenance and they were able to get everything done the same day. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and helpful, and if you plan to wait for your car the building is very clean as well. Great mechanic, would recommend to anyone who needs car service.

Excellent professional and friendly staff. I was given estimates on the services I requested at a fair price before work was done. Oil change, tune up, tire rotation and injection cleaning system. My car is ready for the Winter.I will be a returned customer. Thank you.

So this has already been shared hundreds of times on Facebook but I'll go through it here too. I'm a local custom shop owner and have 30 years experience in the automotive feild. Also NC state inspector for 12 years. Went in for a NC state safety inspection in my fully custom Ford Ranger. Kind of knew that it would either be a hit or miss on the inspection since I've never used them before. Sometimes they're cool with my truck, sometimes they're not. This time they were not, and I half excepted it. Not a big deal. Now I've been on every single nut and bolt on this truck. Replaced, cleaned, painted and modified just about every part on it. So when they handed me a bill totaling in almost $6000 for "repairs needed immediately" I was completely speechless. They recommended a $600 tune up on a fully customized, clean engine with no issues other than it has 136k miles on a 27 year old truck. So $600 on a guess. Then almost $800 for a catalytic converter with almost 3 hours of labor. I know that the part is under $200 and can bolt in in under 30 minutes. Rear main seal leak and oil pan totaling in almost $2000! Not even needed!!! Bottom of my truck is dry as a bone! This is theft! Lying to a customer to sell them things they don't need is THEFT!!!!! I waited a few days and went back to ask them about all of this "required" work and all they could do is give me a lame excuse that it's all based off mileage. Then asked them why the only thing they failed me for was a catalytic converter when the truck had lights out, missing a o2 sensor, didn't check the horn or check engine light and has 1 bad tire. Well I know why. It's because the catalytic converter has the highest profit margin for the shop and the technician. Long story short, they kicked me out and told me to never come back. Do yourself a favor a go literally anywhere else. Freaking thieves giving my profession a bad name. Hope they go out of business soon. Attached is a picture of my truck. Now if you were an automotive technician would you try to lie to whoever drove this in? Or would you assume that they probably have put a lot of time and money into it and probably know it pretty damn good. So to try and sell me things it doesn't need shows me either they're down right stupid and incompetent or just filthy fat mouth breathing thieves. Neither of which I would want to work on my vehicle. It's a shame after 30 years in the business there not one shop I am confident in recommending.

Phenomenal satisfaction on my end. They were very polight, informative, and helpful. They went out of they way to show unbelievable hospitality while they serviced my vehicle. Also my vehicle is riding smoother than ever!

I was extremely pleased with all aspects of my visit. I was treated fairly, politely, everything explained and a job well done. No delay in my appointment and was in and out with a quick response to my problem I will visit them again with any vehicle issues and highly recommend. them.

I recently went to Tuffy Tire & Auto when my tire light came on. I was greeted by polite and friendly staff. They put my Rave on a lift to check the tires to see if there was anything in the tires and then filled each of the tires with air. When I came back the next day because the light was still on they checked the spare tire on the back and there was no charge for either service. I was told the tires were fine, the problem was one of the sensors. They even told me the repair was costly and I could just bring the vehicle in from time to time to check the air pressure without a charge. That is excellent service as well as human kindness. Thank you Mike and the rest of the staff at Tuffy Tire & Auto!

I had a tire replaced a month ago. The pressure sensor was fine when I got there but was suddenly broken when they went to replace the tire. Now the tire sensor light will not cut off. Followed the steps to reset the light and it still will not go off. Also the tire feels out of balance.

My tire pressure light came on this morning and I was close to Tuffy Tire & Auto in Monroe. I went in and spoke with Mike and they checked my tires and put air in all of them. Wouldn't let me pay him anything. Not many businesses like that anymore. Thanks guys. Sincerely, Tammy A.

Do not go here!!!!!!!!! I wish I could leave a zero stars. Under new owners. Kevin is gone and the new owners are incredibly disrespectful and manipulative. My mother who has been coming to this store for 10 years came in for an oil change. She is very intelligent and knows her stuff. Usually $35 dollars. She sits over 1 1/2 hours and they come out, with a $3000 list of stuff they tell her she must fix. She says no thanks, I would just like the oil change . They attempt to manipulate her and tell her that when she leaves the store, she ll have a car accident and they ll be liable, so she must get it repaired. Mind you, my family is full of very well knowledgeable individuals who know the ins and outs of cars with their eyes closed. Her car is in very good shape, with absolutely no issues. He charges her $90 dollars for a BLENDED OIL CHANGE. Not even full synthetic. She respectfully told him that she has never paid that, and that is astronomical. He was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She told him alright, I ll pay this time, but I will not be coming back . He said alright, step up to the register so we can get you out. DO NOT GO HERE.

Went in for oil change and tire rotation. They recommended a belt change. Since they are the experts I allowed it. Well, belt was squeezing and they went and got another belt from the dealership and made everything right. Jimmy and the two service managers were a big help. Will definitely return

They definitely helped me out of a jam! I had a nail at the sidewall of a tire which rendered the tire unsafe. So they gave me a ride to work and got me fixed up in about an hour and a half as they had to find a tire in the size I needed.Update 12/12/23: Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They got me right in and finished quickly as it was early morning on a Wednesday. The only thing the tech didn't do was reset the oil service mileage. So I got on YouTube and found how to do the reset. No big deal though. With all the different makes and models, it's impossible to know them all.

Kevin was amazing when it was Tire Town. Now that this establishment is a corporate company it is a huge rip off. 10/10 do NOT recommend! It cost my husband $145 today for one synthetic oil change in his truck! We used to get his truck and my car done for less than that! We waited almost two hours for an oil change and we were the only people in the building for a bit. Absolutely will not return.

Went to go see about a brake job, they did a complete car inspection and reported all concerns with an option to get fix, plus all cost for repairs. Offered a paid uber in case i didn't want to wait.
