I brought these folks a 51 year old Fridge which up until couple months ago worked flawlessly. I was pretty sure the cooling unit went belly up which was confirmed upon diagnostics. The frige was removed (not an easy task) rebuilt and reinstalled. I've owned this trailer for 11 years and would never had guessed any had been in it, it was as pristine as the day I delivered it.The fridge is working flawlessly right now, as is the 51 year old AC I asked them to go through. I couldn't be happier with the work that was done by Sam and his team, skilled professionals and they saved me a lot of $$$. I highly recommend this company.

I did not have any service at this business although I had a warranty issue through Forrest River. The following is part of the email from Forrest River Cooperate. will order one and get it sent to the nearest service center of your choice. Do living close by I reached out to this company. Forrest River will not ship to an individual and gave me a few choices to have my part shipped to for me to pick up. I called just as a nice gesture to let them know I had picked them. I was told NO. The owner of the company wanted no part of this. I tried calling back several time to try and explain more in detail but constantly got hung up on. I thought okay maybe if I drop in and show them the entire email from Forrest River that might help. Not at all totally rude and even yelled at me. Told me that I was not his customer. Good to know because I never will be. It s really a shame they couldn t at least take a minute to hear what I was asking. There was nothing they had to do other than accept the package from Forrest River as an approved company for warranty claims from Forrest River and allow me to pick up the package.I completely understand it s not in the same scope as a repair their business does but as anyone in RV business and the only one within an hour I didn t think this was asking much especially since they were suggested by Forrest River.Maybe Sam the owner was just having a bad day, hopefully he doesn t treat everyone this way.I work for the public and would never treat a customer or potential customer this way.

Sam has been helping me with my Airstream for 10 years. He is always available to troubleshoot any issues I have with the camper and has always been willing to come to my home to make repairs since I am unable to transport it to his shop.Sam is an expert with campers and I trust him explicitly.Services: Electrical, Air conditioningServices: Electrical, Air conditioning

They have seen my rig twice at their shop. Was heading out on a camping trip. My slide would not come in. Called and talked to Eli made an after hours appt to come to my home. A few hours later Sam called to try and diagnose the problem over the phone. Spent 30+ minutes on the phone. Which i was happy to say was a success. He saved me the price of service call. Good business, great people and even better customer service. Thx Sam & Eli.

Appointment was for no electric power to interior of 88 Scamp.When we arrived we added having a power port door installed, a new tongue jack and bearings packed. All complete and ready for pick up the next day! After hitching up, they verified outside lights were working and replaced one of the brake lights.Everyone we dealt with was wonderfully helpful. We are SO very happy we were referred to them! Well worth the drive from Waxhaw.Service: Electrical

The owner Sam did an awesome job or our camper. We went in thinking it was going be a major,/costly fix. He was so nice, helpful, and honest. We found out after him looking at it right away it was a wiring problem. He immediately fixed the problem and even went above and beyond to fix a problem we didn't even have the appointment for. I would highly recommend him to fix any problem with your campers.Service: Air conditioning

I'm very satisfied with the service and support I continue to receive. I feel I am charged a very fair price for sound work. Sam suggested a fix for an ongoing problem he identified with a relay that I was unnecessarily tolerating and now it works great. I also had a shower surround crack at every screw hole and Sam cleverly repaired it with his resourcefulness and ingenuity. It is fixed and looks good too. He also repaired a slide mechanism issue and now my slide closes properly. You won't find this type of personable reasonable service, expertise, ability and creativity back at the dealerships. If he finds a problem your unaware of he will fix it. Sam is very busy since his work is in high demand because he knows what he is doing and is honest. I no longer need to take my camper back to the dealer 3 times for the same issue anymore where it sat for months before they finally repaired it properly after much aggravation.

We had a problem with our slide and couldn't move the camper. Sam came out to our home and diagnosed the problem very quickly and fixed it. Sam is very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone needing RV service. He is awesome!

Fantastic experience! Loved Sam and his attention to detail. I felt like it was his camper he was working on. Had furnace work done, a/c serviced and a bunch of small things. Ive never owned a camper and he was very helpful and gave me a run down of how to properly use everything. I will return.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. Called and set up an appointment to have our refrigerator and air conditioner serviced. He found a huge issue in our air duct and fixed it the right way! Thank you for your hard work. We appreciate your workmanship. Highly recommend this business. Wow! Excellent service! RV & Camper rebuilt the Dometic refrigerator for our vintage Airstream. He removed the fridge, rebuilt it and reinstalled in one day! Then we took it camping in the area for a week and used the fridge the entire time without issues. Sam also provided additional information on our Airstreams systems that we did not know! His knowledge and skills are incredible. We will call Sam first the next time we need repairs!

I had a reserved appt to get my AC unit replaced and power inverter replaced. They started on my camper promptly, and did all the work while I waited. 4 hours later, everything installed and ready to go. I never even had to unhook camper from my truck. It was a pretty big job, they had to retrofit a new inverter, and it was an upgraded unit with more amperage, and replaced my worn out 13,500 BTU AC unit with a 15,000 BTU unit. They do excellent work, highly recommend this business.

Sam is the guru of RV s. We travel from many states over to take our camper van only to Sam. His knowledge is beyond compare, his work is top notch, his repairs are complete and he is pleasant to deal with. He always makes the diagnosis and his work is on time. We are fussy on who works on our camper van and would only bring it to Sam. He receives our highest recommendation.

I was preparing for a trip to Florida, when my AC went out. It was extremely close to the 4th of July so every shop was busy through mid July trying to get campers ready for the holiday festivities. I stumbled on this place using the google machine and Melanie was able to get me an appointment two days later. Melanie is a very sweet lady. Sam started the service on my camper right at 3:30 when they told me to be there. He quickly diagnosed my issue and I had a brand new AC unit and was back on the road in about 3 hours. This is a small Family owned business and Sam is extremely confident in what he does, leaving me happy. I drove 2 hours to get to RV & Camper Refrigeration and would do it again without thinking twice. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the big box store and go to this place where they ll actually fix your problems and at a very reasonable price! I m a happy customer and I can rest easy knowing my AC will be fine while on vacation.

I have lived full time in an RV and this is the absolute best repair shop and owner technician I have ever met. He is exceedingly smart andy can fix anything. I have been coming to him from years for maintenance, repairs and also to upgrade and remodel. His had also remodeled my living quarters horse trailer. Highly recommend his work.

We had a room slide motor quit while we were in Maryland. The nearest Gander RV could not help us for 6 weeks. So, I Googled RV repair in the next town we were headed to. RV and Camper Refrigeration helped us. Sam did a fine job in repairing our slide. He is super knowledgeable about RVs. Price was fair and I recommend this business to anyone in the Charlotte area needing work.

March 29, 2017 I was totally satisfied with RV & Camper Refrigeration. If you own an RV then I don't have to tell you how difficult it is to find a repair shop for your RV needs. Nor do I have to tell you about the ridiculous prices these places charge for shoddy work, and let's not forget the length of time they hold your RV before the work is possibly done. RV & Camper Refrigeration is a local shop with one great owner, repairman, answer your question with a smile and sends you away with a repaired vehicle and a fair bill for the work. The information is free. Sam, the owner replaced the heating element in my 2009 Southwind and in doing so I asked a simple question about the cabinets coming apart in the unit. Long story short, new cabinets very very expensive. Directions on how to have my problem resolved, completely free. Thank you Sam and I will return with my RV because I trust you and the work you do. Yep, the wife was very happy too. Hot water...

We've been taking our motorhome to RVCR for 5 years and have always received very good service. We have found Sam to be very sociable and always willing to offer advice about maintenance and repairs to help us keep our unit operating well. Sam has provided us many preventative maintenance ideas that we can do ourselves to maintain our unit without always bringing it back to him and helping us to avert problems before they happen.

Very knowledgeable about campers. I needed a second ac install before a unexpected trip and they worked me in within a few days. Everything was affordable and finished with in the time frame they quoted me. Very hard working honest family. Could ve sold me much more than I needed but instead sold me only what was needed.

In 2009, I had my refrigerator cooling unit replaced at RV & Camper Refrigeration, Inc. They did a great job! My newly redecorated camper was in perfect condition at the completion of the job. No messes to clean up. The inside of the refrigerator had even been cleaned!!This job was done on time. The price they quoted me was what the repairs cost.Refrigerator is still cooling great!

Rv camper &refrigeration is great. We have been taking our 42 ft rv to Sam for many years. He makes repairs, not just replaces a perfectly good part. He is very knowledgeable about every aspect of campers inside and out. We have him do our scheduled maintenance such as oil and filters. When we have been in a crunch time to get it back, he has always been there for us. He has not only repaired but taught us a lot about our rv. I highly recommend this business for any and all repairs needed.

I've been taking my RV to Sam for several years now and have always had a great experience. Last summer, Camping World put two different awnings on and both of them had cuts in them. I finally told them to give me a refund and got it replaced here, and for less money!

Refrigerator would not get cold with electric or gas, took RV to another company ( won't mention name) and they said I needed a new coil and wanted to charge me a price that I thought was really to high to replace the coil with one year warranty , Before having the work done I heard of RV Refrigeration and give them a call, the price they give me to do the work was over $1000.00 less and would give me a 5 YR warranty Sam completed the work and My fridge is much colder on the same setting that I was using before and the work was done very professional. I will not be taking my RV to anyone else but to this company. The work was done right the first time and the price was VERY fair, Many THANKS to Sam. Jerry & Cheryl

I had a very positive experience at RV & Camper Refrigeration. I called them up in a semi panic and they assured me that they would do everything possible to get me going, which they did and also ganied my trust and business. Sam did a couple of extra things that he was sure were needed and also noted others that needed attention! All this made for a very enjoyable weekend for my wife and me! RV & Refrigeration installed a new roof on our camper, repaired rubber around the windows, fixed our electric steps , installed a new toilet and done a fantastic job. Sam has a profound knowledge of the Rv Ac & Electronic systems.. I had my model # ready when I phoned him and he talked me through a troubleshooting mode that I needed to perform and determined that we had an issue beyond my skill set. I took him my Rv and he had my electric system and Ac working in perfect order in no time! And did not overcharge for parts or labor which I was in need of. RV & Camper Refrigeration was recommended to us by another RV repair business which did not deal in refrigeration. We are extremely happy with our repairs. Melanie answered all our questions, and gave us a lot of tips since we are new to the RV world. The repairs to our refrigerator were done quickly and it works better than our refrigerator at home. All the Low Reviews are 100% Accurate! Purchased a Refrigerator, asked for inside parts(trays, door racks, none at all, missing) months ago, still not received or called back at all! No Crisper drawers at all. He wanted more money for all this!Also Toilet that cost us over $100.00 broke before even put in RV.Terrible Customer service, bad attitude of how we have been talked to. Very little communication, if at all. WAKE UP and learn how to treat people in a business like manner! And fix things properly before leaving their business!Also, tells you one thing, then something else later, and says YOU are the one that misunderstood him. NOT! I.E., said shelves included in Fridge, then says, WE must pay for it!
